We had a great visit at Rosendal. We had booked the boat trip from Bergen including lunch. Everythig we had was great and we were made very welcome. A great day out

The Manor and restaurant was closed, 2nd June. The gardens and landscape was amazing and very relaxing. A lovely walk. The cost of 300 kroner for 2 adults and no guided trip was much to expensive.

Nice walk through tree lined Avenue to the Barony which is situated in beautiful gardens. Lots of history in the house. But the guided tour was very rushed as there seemed to be a queue of tours waiting. Pity! Cafe and restaurant in grounds make this a lovely place to chill out.

Great way to spend an afternoon. Had a delicious smoked salmon sandwich at the garden cafe and then took a tour of the castle. Our guide was very friendly and translated everything into English for us. I wish I could have taken a picture of the amazing library!

Very lovely house, quite expensive to just see the gardens still. We had lovely tea and cake from the cafe on site

Overall a decent experience. The gardens are beautiful, and the guides are nice and helpful. Interesting small tidbits of history. Great if you are are really interested, but if not, you'll find the experience lacking.

This is a really amazing place. It's well persevered and has a nice little galary. The tour was delightful and informative. Try the restaurant, the sausage quiche was the best I've had. The overall atmosphere is historic and relaxed. It was built in 1620 and the Barons are burried at the church in town.

High entry price for a small garden. Better visit any park for free as all of them have flowers. Walk video of Rossendal village https://youtu.be/tQkWCyjkbmI?si=hz05JqRXlamSKFFg
