Interesting example of a chambered cairn easily accessible from a well laid out parking area. A relatively easy hike up the hill takes you to the cairn. Unfortunately the chamber is not currently open due to a recent collapse so you'll have to be satisfied with views if the outside. There are information boards explaining the site and it's role I'm the landscape.

If you've been to Kilmartin and viewed the cairns there, this is nothing special but worth a quick look for the view if you haven't been to Langass forest. A really good car park properly surfaced and well signposted from the road and easily entered. A walk up through two large stones on a worn path.

Nice wee woodland walk with my wife and dog. Trees full of fairies from the local school kids . Massive wood carving and memorial of the local bear.

Nice to visit and check it out, we walked from the woods on a lovely sunny day.

Lovely walk with a spectacular view from the top. Very interesting burial site although sadly you can't get near it just now. Beautiful walk continuing around the hill and back down, ending with some refreshments at the amazingly situated Langass Lodge, which has a gorgeous suntrap garden at the back.

A stunning location. Unfortunately the mound has collapsed in recent years, so you can’t go in. One informative board describing the site, and absolutely stunning view, especially if you continue up the boggy hill behind it to the top, where you get a 360 degree panorama. Waterproof footwear advised.

Great wee hike. Short and sweet to get some air in your lungs and great views from the top
