My Favorite Airbnb: Finding Solitude in a Woodsy Vermont Yurt
"I spent one afternoon at Barr Hill Natural Area in Greensboro, hiking along the self-guided trail loop with dizzying views of the southern Green Mountains."
Road to get up to area is *ROUGH* higher clearance vehicles recommended! Once up at the lot it’s an awesome hike with a few great long view vistas.

A pretty short hike through the woods with a few clearings and numerous mountain views. Halfway through there is a fairy village where you are encouraged to build a fairy house out of various items that you find in the area. My kids loved building a home for the fairies although we didn't see one!

Relatively easy hour long hike up through a beautiful forest, to amazing views North Central Vermont! Then a delicious dinner at Highland Lodge to top it off!

Always a magical place. Perfect for hiking, skiing, sunsets and just being. A favourite place of ours.

A beautiful nature area. Well maintained. The loop is short enough to bring smaller children. My dog loves it. Take your family, bring a picnic, enjoy a beautiful day.

Had an awesome hike…great views of the mountains and Lake Caspian. As a fitness enthusiast, I turned my hike into a long walk down Barr Hill Rd and walked back to the Highland Lodge, which was where I was staying.

Good winter hike. Lots of trails and guide posts and signs to help navigate and identify the area.
