Barracuda Restaurant

Excellent place to eat with fabulous sea views. We ate here during storm Harry, which really added to visual experience. We started with half a dozen oysters, served with limes, mignonette sauce and tabasco. The oysters were plump and fresh and really tasty. We also had the steak tartare overlain with a raw egg yoke. The meat was nicely seasoned and good quality which made for a delightful dish. For mains, I had the pan fried Mediterranean octopus with capers, cherry tomatoes, in a delicious tomato sauce with olive oil and garlic. The octopus was amongst the most tender that I've ever eaten and was full of flavour. My partner had the bouillabaise soup and she was really pleased with the authenticity of this dish. We felt that the local voignier wine was a good choice, and paired well with these main courses. All in all, this was a splendid place to eat and I can highly recommend Barracuda, both for its food and also for the excellent service.

Wow location, amazing food and very attentive service. Loved the sword fish steak, tuna pasta and the tomato olive bruschetta. This was the perfect last evening during our Malta holiday.

Beautiful ocean view from the window. The food was delicious, and all the ingredients were fresh. The interior isn’t very modern, but everything was clean and well maintained. The spacious kitchen shows how much care they put into preparing their dishes. Highly recommended! 🌅🍽️

We had a wonderful dinner at Barracuda Restaurant in Sliema, and it was truly a memorable evening. I enjoyed the traditional rabbit stew while my partner chose the chicken — both dishes were perfectly cooked and full of rich flavor. Our waiter was exceptionally kind, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. We paired our meal with a Maltese Sauvignon wine, which was excellent and complemented the food beautifully. The sea view from our table created the perfect atmosphere — elegant, relaxing, and romantic. An unforgettable dining experience. Highly recommend Barracuda for anyone visiting Malta who wants great food, warm service, and a beautiful atmosphere.

Vongole became very tasty once added salt on table - the salt itself is also tasty. The pasta itself is very tasty just a lack of salt when served. Pumpkin soup was also great - would come back

Barracuda Restaurant in St. Julian’s is seaside dining at its finest 🌊✨. We came here for a birthday celebration and everything was flawless — from the warm welcome to the stunning sea views. The bruschetta starter was fresh and full of flavor 🍅🥖, the roasted chicken roulade with spinach, mascarpone & asparagus purée was beautifully presented and delicious 🍽️, and the desserts… wow! The elderflower pannacotta and crème caramel brûlée were simply heavenly 🍮🍓. The staff went above and beyond — even surprising us with a candlelit dessert and birthday music 🎶🎂. Such a thoughtful touch that made the evening unforgettable. A perfect mix of cozy ambience, refined flavors, and luxury by the sea. Highly recommended for a special night out! 🌟🥂
