Excellent place to eat with fabulous sea views. We ate here during storm Harry, which really added to visual experience.
We started with half a dozen oysters, served with limes, mignonette sauce and tabasco. The oysters were plump and fresh and really tasty. We also had the steak tartare overlain with a raw egg yoke. The meat was nicely seasoned and good quality which made for a delightful dish. For mains, I had the pan fried Mediterranean octopus with capers, cherry tomatoes, in a delicious tomato sauce with olive oil and garlic. The octopus was amongst the most tender that I've ever eaten and was full of flavour. My partner had the bouillabaise soup and she was really pleased with the authenticity of this dish. We felt that the local voignier wine was a good choice, and paired well with these main courses.
All in all, this was a splendid place to eat and I can highly recommend Barracuda, both for its food and also for the excellent service.
