Overall not a great experience for me. We didn’t have a booking and that unfortunately have ruined a little bit the atmosphere for us. Sitting at the bench top it’s not very nice, it face hotel rooms and roofs of other buildings, but that was not the problem. The stools were super uncomfortable, hard sitting, no rest for the back, to high that you actually need to lean over on the food to not make a mess. Music however was very good, not to high and creating the right mood. The waiters were very attentive and tried to meet our needs, however is a busy place. Food for me was average. We had fish tacos a starter which were ok, and the fish sharing platter. This was disappointing: the portions are generous but that’s all. The fried calamari were overcooked, as were the scallops. The barracuda fish cake for me was a no, the flavour was a bit off (lemongrass?), and the barracuda fillet was underwhelming. The prawns cooked in the butter were pretty good tho (but why the butter?!), and the snapper was cooked well and tender. The biggest disappointment was the barracuda ceviche - so spicy that blew my head off. Other places in the area serve very good grilled fish board, I must say this was a no for me, it felt they tried the fusion too hard with poor success.
