I had an excellent stay at the Marriott Barranquilla. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, spacious, and very comfortable — a perfect place to unwind. The service throughout the hotel was outstanding. Every staff member I interacted with was courteous, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The restaurant was a highlight of my stay. The food was fresh, flavorful, and well presented. I highly recommend the four-cheese pizza and the New York steak — both were exceptional. The pool is fantastic! Overall, it was a top-notch experience. I would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Barranquilla.

Stayed here 4 times over past 2 years. Always a good stay. Rooms are very comfortable. Fitness center well equipped. Cafe and restaurant are good. My only complaint and negative would be they need new pool lounge chairs. The plastic ones their now are broken and uncomfortable and worn out. Other than that great hotel and will return.

Food and service great! But the restaurant patio has a terrible ergonomic design, I almost had a head injury twice because the lamps are very bad located over the table! I explained the situation to the restaurant employee and she said I’m not the only one that complained about this situation. I hope the manager can fix this situation before one of the guesses do any more serious complaint. If you go to this hotel be careful seating down in the patio

It's a Marriott, which is what you expect. However, the service in Latin America is always way better than in the US. This hotel in no exception. It's definitely nicer (brand new) than the Google photos make it look. The pillows were great :)

This had to be one of the best Marriott I’ve stayed at. Reception staff very helpful. Rooms very clean housekeeping do an amazing job. Restaurant staff and breakfast really friendly. |The next time I come to Barranquilla, it will definitely be this hotel|If I could give it 6 stars I would|Leaving tomorrow morning very early. So sad

I’ve been traveling for 30 years, platinum for life, and stayed in many Marriot s so I can tell you I totally enjoyed this stay. Great service, great room, great food. Close to everything I wanted to do and I definitely want to return. As a side note, Barranquilla has so many great restaurants.

My daughter and I stayed at this location for 18 nights! Just wanted to express our extended thanks to: Alexander Julian Daniel Jose D Albert Jennifer We sincerely appreciated your kindness and genuine service. I wish I could recall the reception personnel’s name, as they too were excellent. Being away from home (Canada) for an extended period of time was certainly more manageable with the fantastic mentioned staff at the Marriott! Kind Regards Have a wonderful 2025 year!

I cannot be more grateful to the staff at the Marriott Barranquilla. Back in May of 2024, I had the unfortunate experience of my uncle and mother’s sudden death. The staff was incredibly compassionate, helped me navigate and set up a place for my remote work and would support my newly widowed and very sad father. I have truly never received such empathic care and I had the same level during both my separate stays. The food is spectacular and the rooms are impeccable. I am beyond grateful to all staff and commend them on their dedication to their guests and their stellar representation of the Marriott chain. I do hope my review is seen by top administrators as I believe recognition must be given to the staff.
