Barranquilla Marriott Hotel

I cannot be more grateful to the staff at the Marriott Barranquilla. Back in May of 2024, I had the unfortunate experience of my uncle and mother’s sudden death. The staff was incredibly compassionate, helped me navigate and set up a place for my remote work and would support my newly widowed and very sad father. I have truly never received such empathic care and I had the same level during both my separate stays. The food is spectacular and the rooms are impeccable. I am beyond grateful to all staff and commend them on their dedication to their guests and their stellar representation of the Marriott chain. I do hope my review is seen by top administrators as I believe recognition must be given to the staff.

My daughter and I stayed at this location for 18 nights! I wish I could recall the reception personnel’s name, as they too were excellent. Being away from home (Canada) for an extended period of time was certainly more manageable with the fantastic mentioned staff at the Marriott! Kind Regards Have a wonderful 2025 year!

One of the newest and best hotels in Barranquilla Gym was well worth it Concierge lounge was well stocked outside the Normal hours of operation. Breakfast is provided in the main restaurant, it’s pretty lavish layout along with lot of hot and cold options In the evening you can get good bites in the lounge Overall this Marriott checks all the boxes and it’s safe around this area but to get here was little confusion for Taxi drivers as they made it a roundabout etc not well planned by civic authorities

I’ve been traveling for 30 years, platinum for life, and stayed in many Marriot s so I can tell you I totally enjoyed this stay. Great service, great room, great food. Close to everything I wanted to do and I definitely want to return. As a side note, Barranquilla has so many great restaurants.

Excellent service and staff. the hotel is in very good shape, modern rooms, large bathroom with shower and tub in the suite, amazing quality bed. If im back to Barranquilla this is the place to stay. Nice gym, great service at the M Lounge, nice breakfast and 5 minutes drive from any restaurants and shopping area.

This a beautiful property!! excellent location and the most important the Staff!! The restaurant server are amazing, very talented and warm people, just to metion a few ones as Katherine, Yiniveth, johanson etc. they all kept my expectations, but I had the chance to make suggestions to the food and beverage supervisor and he was always out of my view point arguing not having into account I was a guest. ||Management is a kind of weak, GM was never available every time I wanted to escalate an issue. However, I had the opportunity to talk to MOD after several tries, I never heard any apology and I found it very rud.||The restaurant service need to pay a little attention to procedures, prices and quality of food as well as presentation was never consistent, a lot of room for improvement.

The hotel is brand new and has all the amenities one would hope for. While the hotel itself is great, what really sets this Marriott apart is the service. The people that work in the bar and the restaurant are second to none! Always ready with a greeting, a smile and by far some of the best service I've ever received.
