I took my first body barre class last week and really enjoyed it! Having been a dancer in a previous life, I have been wanting to try out this new type of workout for a while now. While I am not in the shape I once was, my body appreciated the familiarity of the moves and I definitely left feeling like I had a great workout! I really enjoyed how we flowed from one exercise to the next at a manageable pace, and also appreciated the attentiveness of the instructor to the needs of everyone in the class. I wasn't once intimidated and actually enjoyed the workout! I really look forward to my next class!
