Barrel 9

I absolutely love Barel 9 the atmosphere is amazing and the staff is phenomenal! Christine is an awesome bartender and makes phenomenal drinks and Taylor is such an amazing server. The drinks are always good the different wines they have are amazing as well!!!

This place has it all. Great atmosphere, staff, food, and libations. I took the wife for a date night for purely selfish reasons of wanting to sample some of the harder allocation bourbons, and ended up loving everything else about the Barrel 9. The staff were wonderful, the food was amazing and everything we ordered was top notch, and the bourbon and wine selection was choice. This will be a new go to spot for us and is what the SOMD area needs more of. 5/5 would highly recommend!

Where to even start. I am a local and this is a favorite spot of my husbands for sure. I also enjoy going into Barrel 9. It's decor is beautifully done. The staff are always phenomenal. This is a bourbon and wine bar with small plate food. They do have other alcohol mixed drinks as well. If you arent sure what to get Christine, Mike, Shannon and crew will help you out. My most recent time in, I got the potato soup. My husband got the lamb sliders. Both had very good flavor. Other favorites are the various dips. Seating can be hard to come by during peak times friday and sat nights. Just something to keep in mind.

My boyfriend found out about the place and insisted on trying them out. He was right !☺️ We loved the place, the atmosphere, the drinks were soooo good and the food was jus yummy 🤤. The service, omg, very very very friendly, welcoming. It’s a must☺️

Had the meatball sliders which had no seasoning not even salt or pepper and a drop of bbq sauce. The salmon crustini smelled like a weird old persons house something was completely off and the bread was rock hard crust, the only thing with flavor was the chicken buffalo dip and thats really hard to mess up. They touted bourbon but had no list or offerings shown. Its the 6th and the Cocktail special ended at the end of last month. Just weird and not put together. The chef needs to hit the store for salt, pepper, garlic and Italian seasoning to add to everything. The waitress did not even know if they had tea this is South tea and bourbon are good friends.

Everything about this place is just wonderful! Great experience last night! Tried some great pours! The staff know what they are talking about!! Check them out if you haven’t!

Stopped in here from out of town and immediately felt welcomed. Super friendly and neighborhood feel bar. Ordered the charcuterie board for two and the chicken bacon ranch flatbread. Both were great. Shannon and Christine were AMAZING. Cannot say enough great things about their service. We literally are coming back tomorrow just because of them. Highly recommend.
