Barrel House 9

My wife and I stopped in for the first time. It was dinner time and the place was comfortably busy. Sam took care of our service and did a great job. Very friendly and professional. I ordered a small meat lovers pizza and my wife had the hand made veggie burger with the tomato soup on the side. She enjoyed the burger and shared the very generous tomato soup with me. The small pizza was an 8-cut with plenty of toppings. It was hot and tasty with enough to take home half of the pizza. Check out the pictures. We look forward to returning in the near future.

We went to Barrel House 9 for dinner with our two young kids to see our cousin Jimmy, who works at the bar, and we had a great time! The food was incredible and the beer selection was excellent. The atmosphere was welcoming, even with kids, which we really appreciated. We can’t believe it took us this long to try Barrel House 9—highly recommend!

My finance and I have had dinner here twice now and the food is superb. So Fresh, and seasoned perfectly! The service is great and food comes out quick! The pizza is hot and made to order! Just all around amazing experience! We are a couple who needs a lot of protein and the fact that they serve whole Chicken breasts is a huge a plus! Highly recommend.

We have been here several times and absolutely loved it. However the past 3 times that I ordered my burger well done and stated “make sure it is cook thoroughly” I had to take the burger off the bun and finish cooking it at home as it was no where near well done! Not sure what’s ganged recently as to why I’ve been having issues my past few orders. Otherwise when we come in service is great!

Update: Second visit in the books and staying 5 ⭐️. Dinner tonight with friends. We shared the Meatball appetizer and Sweet Chili wings. Both were very good, a couple extra pieces of toast would have been amazing. Hate wasting good sauce. Entrees tonight were fantastic: Shrimp Scallopini pasta, the Sausage Roasted Tomato pasta and Grilled Pork Chop. Everyone loved their meals. Can’t wait to comeback and try more of the menu. Tonight we had Robin caring for us and she had our group pegged. Beverages stayed full and never tried to rush us. First visit was excellent. We were welcomed warmly and greeted by everyone working. Stopped in for lunch and cannot wait to return to try the entrees. My wife and I ordered the Bacon Onion Jam Burger and the Chicken Philly. Both were extremely tasty. Thank you Sam for making our first visit so enjoyable.

We have ordered take out twice now and it has been absolutely delicious! The Philly cheese is amazing. Creamy red pepper pesto pasta with Cajun chicken was fantastic too! So happy we have a restaurant close by that can produce great food at a reasonable price. And the best part is that the staff is so friendly and welcoming. We just ordered take out again tonight (before Thanksgiving), and it is amazing! Thank you for finally bringing good food to this area! Keep it up 😋💖

We were in the area on Valentines Day to attend our granddaughter’s horseback riding competition. When it was over we decided to try and find a local place for a late lunch before returning to Columbus. A quick ‘Google’ of great restaurants nearby brought up Barrel 9 only 10 minutes away. After a quick look at the menu and a couple of reviews, we decided to try it. We were blown away. Walking in around 2:00 pm, we found the restaurant decked out for V day and the staff busy getting ready for the being rush. But we were greeted warmly and quickly taken to a booth. Our server, Sam, also greeted us warmly and took our drink and appetizer orders. The Bavarian Pretzel was literally too hot to handle but totally delicious as were the cheese and mustard dipping sauces. And, our cheeseburgers were perfectly cooked and fresh cut fries hot and delicious as well. The manager greeted us as we were leaving and asked about our experience. To top it off I got a pink carnation. Make Barrel 9 a regular stop….it is awesome. Wish we lived closer!

Event: Anniversary Lunch After looking at the great reviews for this restaurant, I decided to check it out for myself. I talked to the owner Rob and explained to him that we would like a reservation for about 20 people for a surprise anniversary lunch. Since this restaurant has only been open for a few months , I wanted to make sure that having six or more tables coming in at once would not overwhelm the kitchen. But he and the hostess, named Sam assured me that it was no problem! I am very happy to report that they did a Fabulous job!!!! Everyone loved the food and they all commented on how fabulous Sam was in taking care of them! She kept up with all the tables, making sure everyone had drinks and anything else that they needed. She is a rockstar! I had explained to Rob that the group needed to leave at a certain time and he and the kitchen staff made sure that the food came out on time and it was delicious! So we want to give a big shout out to Rob and Sam and the entire kitchen crew for doing such a great job! As you will see from the pictures, the restaurant is beautiful with a modern but welcoming vibe. Believe all of the rave reviews because this place rocks!

I visited this restaurant on a Friday night with a friend and we got to sit on their awesome patio to have dinner and get drinks. The drinks were very well priced and had something for everyone. One thing I noticed about the cocktails had one of those big ice cubes which was a nice touch. For our dinner I ordered the barrel house 9 burger that was topped with sautéed onions, mushrooms and bacon which was very good and the meat was good quality. The burger was served with crispy French fries which were fantastic and nicely done. My friend ordered the wings in the hot flavor and I got to try one which was very tasty. This is a newer restaurant in the area and an awesome hangout. The service was also exceptional as well. I can't wait to come back.

Menu is expansive with many options based on dietary needs. Pizza dough is made and tossed fresh in house. They offer gluten free pizza dough as well. Many vegetarian options. Entrees include steak , pork chops, and fish. Many burger offerings as well. Great apps! Bread pudding offerings are homemade with flavors that change often. House made veggie burger was amazing! No frozen patty from a box here! Fresh pressed fries were so good! Not greasy or mushy...absolutely perfect! Companion enjoyed the bacon jam burger. Stated it was cooked to specifications. Wings were also excellent per my companion. Fresh and coated well that were generously sized. Staff is friendly and attentive. Owner and bartender introduced themselves and asked our names. Will be back again more than likely next week.

Went here for dinner and it was nice. The only complaint is I wish there was more food on my plate because it was so tasty. Our server Michael did a fantastic job.

Always like to try places, at least 3 times before reviewing. Barrel House 9 has been spot-on all three times. The food has been excellent. I tried a weekend special, Grilled salmon with risotto and brussel sprouts. It was fantastic. I have had wings all 3 times, they are fresh, never frozen. Service has been great, too. This is definitely going to be my new neighborhood go to spot.

The atmosphere inside the restaurant is clean and open giving the vibe that it's a place where you feel at home. The wait staff was very attentive and quick to serve. My friend and I were in for a late lunch so it wasn't too busy so I expected service to be quick and I wasn't disappointed. We ordered burgers and I had a side of onion rings while my friend had a side of broccoli. The bacon onion jam burger was cooked to perfection and the onion rings were some of the best I have ever had (I typically order onion rings instead of fries). The burger was juicy and flavorful! My friend ordered the veggie burger and let me tell you it was excellent (I tried a quarter of it). I'm not usually a fan of veggie burgers bc they're always the same, made with black beans, tasteless and flat as a hockey puck, but this veggie burger was delightfully fresh and flavorful. It was made with mushrooms, jalapeño peppers, rice, and hand-formed. It was thick and juicy. I was blown away! It was so good, I'm going to order it myself the next time I visit

Amazing food and service! Everything is fresh, beautiful presentation and friendly staff.. great place to hang as well for any sporting event! I will be back

We went for the Ohio state Texas game and even though there was a lot of people the food came out fast and was amazing

We tried to go last night. There were 11 open tables only 7 tables sat including the 1 outside and a full bar so many workers but was told it would be a 20 min wait. We were so confused due to seeing all these workers and so many empty tables on a Saturday night. We understand they just open and things take time to get situated but if you can't handle having people come in/ to go maybe that was the issue to busy in kitchen then I would recommend a soft open. Our parents tried Friday and same thing with them. Their food they got to go was cold and gross. I work in the restaurant business so I was really disappointed.

Was excited to try this new place. What a disappointment! Service was so slow and disorganized. Food was luke warm at best, and less than average in presentation and taste. For a bill over $100, was very unhappy . I hope they can get their act together, otherwise they will not last long. Not planning on going back
