We stopped in for a drink and tapas. Service is excellent, the tapas dish (prosciutto & melon) very good - melon ripe. The sangria was simple - red wine and lemonade. Mexican sangria. Definitely a beautiful place. For dinner reservations are recommended.

Google
For all the hype, it was a bit of a letdown. My meal was just ok, but not anything outstanding and definitely not worth the price. My friends were disappointed in their shrimp and portion sizes. The chef was friendly and our server Jose was fantastic and definitely knows how to cater to his customers. But I would not be interested in a repeat visit considering how many other great places are available in Puerto Vallarta.

Google
A very well hidden gem. Words won’t describe the experience at all. Among the best meals of my life every time we visit. Don’t miss out on visiting Memo Wulff and his amazing team. Simply perfect.

Google
Food was delicious, Chef Memo Wulff is truly a master of his craft as the flavors were amazing. This is some of the best food I've had in Mexico. The prices were very reasonable and the staff was great, Jose took care of us and gave us great recommendations. The cevice was amazing, as well as the fresh salad. Everything is local and the flavors were complex. The Camaron Pastor was very unique never had anything like it before. Chef Memo Wulff also took time to talk to us and talk about his inspirations. I Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal.

We've been coming to barrio bistro for 3 years and every time we come it's a new experience. Memo always has something new on the menu, he uses seasonal and fresh ingredients. The service is always like if you're at home. For breakfast I had chilaquiles divorciados with birria 🤤

Absolutely loved the Gorro Ceviche & Chicharrón de Pescado. Lovely afternoon wine and appetizers.

We had a lovely dinner at Barrio Bistro. The service was great, and they. had a musician playing soft, easy going music that was wonderful to listen to. They have some unique dishes and sauces. Dessert was amazing!!! Both our meals were delicious and we will definitely being going back there.

Google
As I am told Barrio was pretty much the first new and exiting restaurant in the Versalles area few years ago that started a flood of new openings. Now you can find a dozen or more good restaurants near it. Innovative, tasty, well presented dishes based on quality Mexican ingredients and reworked traditional recipes. Good service, good ambiance, definately one of the better ones not only in the zone but all of Vallarta

Yelp
Great restaurant in the neighborhood. Our servers José and José were fantastic. Cocktails are well made with an emphasis on racilla. I had shrimp pastor which had a unique presentation and great taste. My wife had octopus tostada which was beautiful to look at but was incredibly chewy. Can not recommend the tostada unless the octopus improves. The setting is fun and would recommend this place.

Yelp
Came and ate here for something different and was surprised on how good it was. The servers were fun and made recommendations on what to order. Food was all around great for a fusion Mexican place. The chef came out and asked if everything was good. There were only a few parties there at the time of seating, but throughout the dinner it quickly filled out. I would definitely eat here again if I'm in the Versailles area.

Yelp
I saw this place pop up several times on Yelp throughout my week stay in Puerto Vallarta. Being that I'm traveling with my mom and stepdad, I wasn't sure if they would be amenable to a restaurant where I couldn't explain the type of food they had. lol But after 5 nights of wonderful culinary experiences, I told them that they just had to be quiet and trust me! We lucked up on this being the 9th anniversary celebration of Barrio Bistro, so they had a special printed menu instead of their usual chalkboard menu that they bring over to the table. The entire menu was in Spanish which of course threw my parents off, but the staff is wonderful and made sure there was someone who could explain every dish for us. We decided to share two appetizers and two entrees and between the 3 of us. My mom wasn't a big fan of the two appetizers because she wasn't expecting them to be cold, but they were both delicious. Her absolutely favorite was the grouper in the coconut curry sauce. She is a huge fan of grouper and always orders it when we go anywhere tropical because it's so much cheaper than at home. My favorite was the octopus dish. I can't even describe it, but it was my 3rd time eating octopus while in PV and it was the best of the three! I think my stepdad's favorite part was the DJ who was mixing old school jams with house music. He even had to get up and give him some dap. All of the staff were extremely friendly and the chef/owner, Memo, came out to check on us several times throughout our meal. It was a wonderful experience in a beautiful little restaurant. It was the perfect spot for our last meal in Puero Vallarta. I will absolutely put it on my list of restaurants to visit when I come back.

Yelp
The ambiance & service were without fault. Sadly, the food was sub par. Our party of 3 ordered different items from their menu: ALL 3 dishes were served at lukewarm temperature. Sent back to kitchen for a redo. Nope! Still disappointed when our food was delivered back to us. We left 75% uneaten. Paid (generous tip for the polite waiter) and left. Never to return.

Carli S.

Yelp
The 3 stars are for a beautiful ambience, wonderful service, and quality/freshness of produce. That's where it ends completely for us. I waited a couple weeks to write the review because at the time I probably would have rated it lower after spending upwards of $60 for 2 drinks and 2 appetizers, and going somewhere after to get some great food which is everywhere in PV! The server was sweet and knowledgeable, we ordered 2 completely different mixed cocktails at a pretty steep price, no problem with that as long as they are good, they were not. Both looked and tasted exactly the same, both orange... (no not fresh orange juice, I saw the bartender pouring juice mix out of a carton) and weak. We mentioned it to our server as one was supposedly strawberry and the other pineapple, she also looked a bit confused and brought one back to the bartender. I was facing the bar so it was pretty clear after she explained she situation to him, he shook his head and argued with her. Again she tried to explain that we got 2 of the same drinks, he had a bad attitude and instead of making a new drink decided to add to that one. Well, no surprise that it came back nearly the same as before, okay lesson learned; we wouldn't order anymore expensive cocktails here. At this point we had already placed an order with the server for 2 appetizers, a duck taquito dish and a fried mushroom dish. They came out quickly and looked pretty. The taquitos were as bland as could be, the sauces under seasoned, the lentils which were on top of them also under seasoned, the "duck" did not look or taste like duck. It tasted like bland chicken which again, no seasoning. We were both really looking forward to the mushroom dish and it was somehow even worse. Again, same garnishes/sauces as the last dish; so, not seasoned... again, and the mushrooms were all chunks of watery portobello. The breading was puffed amaranth (which can be delicious) but just tasted granular and again no salt, no spice, no pepper even. We tried to make the best of it, with our watery orange drinks, ate about half of each of the dishes, paid the bill, which was pretty expensive and left. I'm not sure exactly why this place gets such great reviews other then attention from the chef, but had to be honest here. We met another couple a few nights later at a fantastic local restaurant (again so plentiful out here!) and they were in total agreement sharing a similar experience. Wish I could've written a better review, but with two lame weak drinks, and two lukewarm, under seasoned dishes, this is the best I could do.

Yelp
Such a great venue for good food. I was alone or I would have been able to test more. The short ribs for instance. Def recommend.

Paul S.

Yelp
OMG! This was the best place we ate at in Puerto Vallarta! We were immediately greeted and seated. The owner came out and told us all about the food and its preparation. The specials were described to us in great detail. The food was 100%, 10 out of 10. I wish I lived here, I'd come again and again!!

Matt K.

Yelp
One of the best restaurants in town and Memo the owner is just an amazing chef and an even better person. He's always making me feel important and loved and even has brought out some custom dishes to impress my friends. My goal is to try everything on the menu before he changes it again!

Lauren C.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing food! I highly highly recommend you go here if you are in the Puerto Vallarta area. It is away from the touristy spots. When we went it had both tourist and locals so it was a perfect mix. The neighborhood surrounding it is very nice and welcoming. Now for the menu....it changes OFTEN. The waiter informed us that Memo goes to the store in the morning and picks out ingredients and makes whatever he feels like. Awesome concept! The first dish was something the chef sent out to our table. I forgot the name (it is NOT ceviche) but it was some type of fish with peppers, potatoes, and veggies on top of a tortilla chip. Very delicious. Next for an appetizer I got the plaintain taco. This was by far my favorite thing I had this night. The mole surrounding the dish was phenomenal. Best mole I've had so far in Mexico (we will see how it compares to other places I try). For my entree, I got the osobusco or pork shank. The serving size was very large. Finished about 1/3 of the pork shank. It was very tender and also came with this pumpkin hash that was under the meat. Very filling for the price. The drinks are also good as well. Again, don't remember the names of what we got but they were all tasty. By far the best thing we had was the plaintain taco. You will not leave this place hungry. They also give you complimentary chips and dips when you first sit down as well.

Graciela G.

Yelp
Very charming place with great ambiance. Live music, very attentive staff, chef comes out to talk to every guest and makes you feel welcomed. If you're wondering if you should bring your kids, yes! They are very kid friendly. When we came in the chef talked to my toddler and offered off menu items they could make. Really appreciate the accommodation. Food was great, if not for just a few missteps which brings my rating down to 4 stars. We ordered stuffed squash blossoms for appetizer and were also given a sampling of tamal with mole sauce. Both dishes were amazing and that really set our expectations for the next courses. Unfortunately, as much as I liked the place, I thought the Tamarind fish was under seasoned. It was saved by the sauce but the fish itself needed salt. The short rib special was not as tender as I would expect but overall a good effort. Finally, we were recommended the churros for dessert but they were hard and overdone. Still, I would absolutely go there again for the atmosphere and to try other dishes.

Camilla H.

Yelp
There are some good restaurants in Puerta Vallarta but there is only *one* great restaurant, and it is Barrio Bistro. Hands down the best meal we had in the multiple times we've been to PV, with excellent service and charming ambiance to boot. The aguas (fruit juices) are delicious. The tuna medallion was exceptional and the churros were some of my favorite of all time. Thank you for such an incredible meal and evening!

Christopher N.

Yelp
I would love to provide a review as we were around the neighborhood checking out our friends' new condo but upon arrival the establishment is closed even though Yelp clearly stated it's open. Try to get on the website but not working. I don't think I'm capable to call as I don't speak Spanish. I'm not trying to give them negative ratings but I have to put something up hence the 3 stars. Glad we found another local joint but it's not showing on here. I probably have to start the first review for them.

Chris F.

Yelp
One of the best places to eat in PV. This should be a must eat when you visit. The chef has a great ever changing menu and it is hard to pick the best but anything with fish or pork cooked in local produce should be considered. Also had a great cocktail menu focused on their own estate made raicilla, a local liquor. I have enjoyed evening from chef Memo Wolff. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Bob C.

Yelp
Absolute perfection. Amazing food from beginning to end. And fantastic customer service. Every detail is attended to. My water glass was not allowed to get empty. Chef Memo sent out a couole of empanadas for us to try. Plus we ordered a couple. Beautiful and scrumptious. Our white fish was served with mole (several options available) and mashed potatoes with veggies. All perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. We were so haooy with everything we just told the waiter to brong whatever dessert he wanted to get us. And it was perfect of course. Cant understate how much we loved it.

Frank M.

Yelp
We went to Barrio Bistro last night and had the best meal of our vacation so far. Everything we ate was a little different and out of our comfort zone but so very good. I had the Frank cocktail and we shared a bottle of Mexican Merlot. I had the filet milanese and my husband had the chicken . Both were prepared and served beautifully. Next time we are staying in this area we will absolutely return! The service was impeccable as well. It is a sweet location , eating in a garden setting. We loved it and highly recommend!

Andrea F.

Yelp
WoW! Such a lovely experience- fantastic service and such fun drinks. Cocktails are a must. Very solid and friendly service in a very local setting. Ceviche appetizer was ok- too fruity for my taste. The ravioli with soft shell crab was perfection. Pricey but overall, would return for the experience.

Megan B.

Yelp
What a find! We were staying nearby and found this place on yelp. A thoughtful menu that changes daily, kind staff and quaint atmosphere. What a great meal! Highly recommend!

Daryl W.

Yelp
Extremely friendly staff, great selections of fresh seafood and steaks outstanding place to have a dinner with friends and family. Chef memo is excellent and he even open my eyes to a new smoky tequila call Raicilla

lauren r.

Yelp
An incredible gem hidden in downtown PV! Cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The restaurant is perfect for a date, family dinner, or any sort of celebration. The menu is small but has plenty of options. My mom is vegetarian and the cooks were willing to accommodate to make her something that wasn't even on the menu. This speaks to the quality of service, which was nothing short of exceptional. I had the Mahi Mahi as well as a hibiscus margarita which did not disappoint! We will be back our next time in PV :)

Richard P.

Yelp
This a great find we found on Yelp. We were staying with friends Fluvail and found this charming and delicious bistro. Not only was the service excellent but the food was amazing. They offer daily specials of appetizers and main entrees. We started off with the best cocktails that really packed a punch. I had 2 which maybe a little to much for me but I couldn't resist. We had the special of day appetizers which were duck flautas, beautiful presented and so tasty. We also sampled the tempura batters squash, again amazing. The special entrees we chose was the fresh grouper and the beef medallions with mashed potatoes and green potatoes. When we left we're so satisfied and I will recommend it to anyone visits Puerto Vallarta. Can't wait for our return!

John K.

Yelp
Perhaps the best meal I had in Puerto Vallarta! You will absolutely be impressed with all aspects. First, you will note the super attentive service. Present always but not overbearing. Perfect recommendations. The cocktails are delicious and flavorful - anything but boring and quite unique. We decided to order several items to be able to share different options and just take the remaining home. I highly recommend you do the same. Appetizers were expertly prepared and the perfect starter to share with our cocktails. The main courses were delicious. Well prepared and the portions quite substantial. Cooked to perfection with presentation to match. Best of all, they're quite reasonably priced given the quality and portions. Trust all the 5 star reviews! Order that extra dish you want to try. You will surely not be disappointed.

Brayden P.

Yelp
Where do I begin! I got there before some large parties on Dia de Los Muertos. I sit down and take in the al fresco ambience and local art on display. Order a drink - took the recommendation of the waiter and ordered the raicilla y jamaica cocktail. Delicious! Very reminiscent of a hibiscus tea, but with the welcomed accompaniment of liquor. Then Chef Mo paid a visit to my table. He had other tables to visit, but when he was at mine, you felt his presence and passion for his establishment and cuisine. He candidly let me know that he believes in large portions, and let me tell you he was being honest. I dined alone to treat myself for a special night and ordered three courses (typical overly indulgent American). Entree 1: coconut flautas. Lightly crispy thin tortilla with a significant crunch. The inner coconut was marinated perfectly, with a very light smokiness and an after thought of sweetness complimented by the sauces and crema lightly drizzled on top. Entree 2: God I wish I wrote down the name, but it involved sautéed octopus and baby scallops topped with a soft shell crab bathed in a savory tomato sauce rich with flavor. It was hard to save any to bring home to my friend as leftovers. Entree 3: Solomillo embarazado. Mole. Local succotash vegetables. Pork tenderloin. I was extremely full at this point (understandably) and could have continued eating, but knew I needed to just stop. But if I said anything about this dish further, it's about the potato/polenta bed the protein was placed on. I could have eaten an entire bowl of it on it's own. All in all, I had a wonderful experience. I felt at home, I felt excited, and above all, I felt satisfied. Whether you go in on your own or with a group, have fun, you can't go wrong with any dish you decide upon, and remember they mean it when they say they serve big portions! Thank you chef and service team!

Samantha R.

Yelp
Wanted to give a shout to Barrio Bistro last night. This is our first dedicated trip to Puerto Vallarta. Memo and his staff were so kind and accommodating. It felt very personal as Memo greeted every guest who walked in and seated us himself. We were a family of four with a 3yo and 7yo. The attention they gave to the children made us feel very welcome for a more intimate experience. My husband is vegan so it proves to be an obstacle during travels. They said they had limited options but we found half of their offerings were very close or able to be modified with extra vegetables or fruits. The homemade raicilla was new for us and enjoyed it thoroughly. They brought samples and the presentation of their dishes far exceeded our expectations. I hope Memo and his staff continues to find success and satisfaction in his business. We have a laundry list of restaurants while we're here but may return before we leave.

Uri P.

Yelp
Legitimately one of the best meals I can remember. The pumpkin soup was delicate and savory, the blue corn mushrooms deeply flavorful, and the Mahi Mahi in huitlacoche made me wish I could figure out where to find huitlacoche in Tucson to try to recreate the earthy flavor. Just delightful. My wife felt much the same, and we shared the vegetarian courses.

Justin T.

Yelp
Phenomenal food in a beautiful outside sitting area, attached to the bar "La Lulu Raicillería", which serves amazing raicilla-based cocktails (that you can order while eating as well). We were highly impressed by the presentation and quality of both food and drink, and will certainly return when in PV. The duck dish was a personal highlight, especially after days of tacos and seafood. A bit further east than most of the action in town, so make the effort to drop in and you won't regret it. There's also a cool specialty tequila place right across the street, to check out when you're done.

Ana N.

Yelp
Wonderful interesting presentations. Lovely venue and atmosphere. Lovely service. Easy to reach by different means. Promises to offer a wonderful meal and time without a glitch.

Brad R.

Yelp
Wonderful all around. Fresh innovative menu. Few dishes but nice variety. Service including awareness of allergies top notch. Live musician the night we came who played a number of upbeat standards including getting the crowd to sing along once. Fun night.

Lan Y.

Yelp
I cannot say enough about my experience at Barrio Bistro. Chef Memo was so kind to make me a cocktail prior to their dinner svc given I arrived early. I opted for the tasting menu and chatted with Chef - given this is the off-season, the restaurant was not as packed as typical for the busy season or weekend. Chef offered me a tasting menu and it didn't disappoint, I especially loved the fresh Hearts of Palm enchilada - how does one pack so much flavor in something so simple?! The beef tostada was loaded with flavor as well... Chef is very popular in the area, a local tour guide mentioned it when I relayed I was staying in Versalles. It's a 10peso bus ride and short walk or $5 US via Uber from the Melecon... and worth the $. Versalles is such a nice area without all the noise of the city centre, be sure to go as there are so many other amazing restaurants in this new & upcoming neighborhood. The drinks are amazing as well, def try his personal rhaicilla (sp?). Chef Memo is too kind, my first evening at my ABNB in Versalles didn't disappoint!

Trish A.

Yelp
We love Bario Bistro. Always a surprisingly delicious menu, beautiful ambiance and the service is superb. We're lucky enough to live down the street but started coming here before. Thank you Memo and staff for your gem. Looking forward to seeing you soon.

Casey P.

Yelp
Amazing food. Best fish I've ever had. Creative flavor combos. Excellent staff from front to back. Loved the outdoor space.

Silvia F.

Yelp
Barrio Bistró is a gem. An amazing gasto experience. Memo the chef is usually at the restaurant and mingles with guests explaining his fresh farm to table fare. Highly recommend

Madeline M.

Yelp
Barrio Bistró was one of the first high end restaurants to open in the now very popular Versalles neighbourhood. The farm to table menu changes with the seasons. The service is too notch. Occasionally there's live music.

Leah M.

Yelp
If you are in Puerto Vallarta and you don't come here, you're doing it wrong. My now husband and I decided to elope in Mexico and we are huge goodies, so we had to find some seriously special places to eat. This name came up over and over all over the internet, so obviously we had to experience it. And what an experience it was. If you don't speak Spanish, don't worry. Everyone was fluent in Spanish and English. I overheard them many times offering to get cabs for customers to get back to their hotels and whatnot. It's kind of tucked away, but that makes it even better. The staff was so sweet and helpful, and they genuinely looked like they loved being there. Chef Memo was there and made most of our dishes himself. He came over many times asking our opinions and which bites to take for the best flavors. It felt really amazing to have that kind of attention. We even got serenaded by a young man with a violin during the last half of our meal. It was so much fun! Now for the food. The drinks are delicious and dangerous haha. They make their own raicilleria, and man it's good. For starters, we did the lobster crema and stingray flautas with bone marrow. I am an absolute nut for marrow and it was cooked in a way I never thought possible. It was perfection. Like seriously. I will forever compare all marrow with Barrio Bistro's. I'm now a snob, thanks! The lobster crema was like licking the freaking ocean, but in the best way. No idea how they managed to pack that much flavor into a single bite. The wild boar tenderloin was perfect, and the mustard sauce and incredible. So much flavor! And so tender, like fork cut tender. I had the pleasure of getting the chicken roulade with mole. I say this with no sarcasm or exaggeration. I cried when I took my first bite. Between the music, a few drinks , marrying my best friend of 12 years and the flavors of this exquisite dish, it was too much for my little heart to bear. I've been trying to find the perfect mole sauce for years, and no one has ever come close. This was it. And the chicken, it was incredible. Tender, flavor off the charts, and beautiful to look at. I don't know the next time I'll get to come here, but this one meal has become one of my husband's and I favorite meals and memories. Thank you for sharing your recipes with the world. Places like this are what makes traveling and discovery so special.

Jody s.

Yelp
Innovative cuisine and always delicious! Memo is a great chef and host!! They have a secret vegan menu so don't hesitate to ask!

Steven B.

Yelp
Five star plus. Owner Memo explains the menu for the night off a chalkboard. David our wonderful waiter, and Marcus helped us with a nice bottle of wine. One of the best meals we've had in Puerto Vallarta. A most lovely evening with creative dishes. We will make this a must on our annual November PV visits. Close to Costco yet hard to find with street repairs. Worth it however.

Mamma J.

Yelp
It looked awesome till we got there. Food was very good. Service was not very good. We noticed men were getting served very attentively and we were not. We are two women. My water was never refilled. We were never told about the drink menu or specials. Inconsistent experience. Do not recommend

Steve W.

Yelp
This restaurant has a very imaginative menu: Mexican with French influences. All members of our group thoroughly enjoyed the food, the raicilla cocktails, the outdoor like setting and the excellent service.

Diane F.

Yelp
Visiting and I am so happy this restaurant was recommended to us. The best food i have ever eaten in my life. It is nice to find a place with such wonderful food and even more fabulous service. The menu changes weekly and it is a nice variety starting with soup, (be sure and have the soup), salad, appetizers and entrees. We were too full to try dessert but I am sure it is yummy. We plan to return before our trip is over.

Frankie A.

Yelp
Absolutely incredible meal and service with a vibrant and cozy ambiance. Everything was packed with flavor and so creative and new. Dishes you won't find anywhere else. The steak on hot stones was a show stopper, their saffron noodles was also incredible. Wish they had a lighter dessert option just to try more items, but we were too full from appetizers and entrees to really dive in. 11/10 would recommend.

Stephen C.

Yelp
Knocking my rating down one star. The food and service is inconsistent and extreme. When it's good it's incredible and when it's bad it's really bad. It always seems to be bad when I have either recommended it to someone or have taken someone there. On my own never seems to be a problem. I'll stick to it solo, but I now have a new "go-to" in the neighborhood to take visitors that never disappoints.

Benjamin F.

Yelp
All around superb experience. The reputation of this stellar chef proceeds him, he came to the table gave us a rundown on the latest creations. Plenty of very delicate details and creative combinations. All dishes came out great and cooked to perfection. Brought to you in a delightfully curated Mexican trendy urban neoclassic ambience - a great choice if you feel more of a trendy hipster foodie and don't want to mix with the superficial crowds of "Vallarta main street tourists and wannabes" -- Be careful not to drink too much Raicilla, this is serious rocket gasolina. Prices range from 500 to 750 pesos per person when it's all said and done. It's not super cheap but it's worth it.

Tiffany N.

Yelp
Loved the food and the service! Would definitely recommend a place to eat while you are in PV.

Lori M.

Yelp
I wanted to like this spot more than I did. I think I should have trusted my gut and ordered the tasting menu, but I listened to the chef. I will def come back because I like the concept and the space is beautiful. service was great but I did not love the food.

Rachael V.

Yelp
The best dinner we've had in PV so far! Very good food, service & ambiance. We sat in the garden, there was live music (guitar & violin). It was magic. Please go here, you will not be disappointed.

Kate H.

Yelp
The other night my fiancé and I had a FANTASTIC dinner at Barrio Bistro. It has amazing reviews, for good reason, and when we were shown the menu we were told there was a very talented out of town chef that would present our options to us. Turns out it was this talented and extraordinary 11 year old girl named Gabby! She's a chef in training fro Ventura, Ca and is working here to improve her skills. She also got to create her own item for the menu! Needless the say, the "Camarones Gabbriones" (lol) was delicious and I had to snap a quick selfie with this little chef to prove I met her before she was world renowned. The food was amazing, the staff was kind and sweet, the drinks were delicious, and it was such a treat to meet Gabby! :)

Kenneth L.

Yelp
Excellent food and ambiance Looking forward to coming back Enjoyed the live music as well

Scott W.

Yelp
The best meal I've had in years. Went on a Tuesday night for dinner with my wife and kids (4 and 5 months). The chef paid special attention to my 4 year old, made him a dinner of his request ("I want chicken fingers") while my wife and I enjoyed 3 courses of culinary perfection with a delicious bottle of wine. This place is a gem and we were lucky enough to get this recommendation from a PV local we met at Tintote (another great spot but more expensive and definitely not as kid friendly). As a tourist everyone we encountered made us feel completely welcome - the waitstaff, the chef - even the musician treated us like family. We can't wait to return to this wonderful restaurant.

Julia B.

Yelp
Maybe I was at a different restaurant. To start with the email confirmation of my reservation said 730pm and when we got there she said my reservation was for 7pm. Our table was in the bar next door (?) by the bathrooms. Not wonderful. They seemed understaffed, our waiter was ok, but very busy. The food was just not great. For me the flavors missed on every dish. I had the sopa de elote and it was bland. My husband had the mushroom appetizer and it was meh. His pork chop was over cooked and my fish was just not very seasoned. Again, sort of bland. Let's say I expected a lot more. Will not be going back.

Yelp
The food is delicious and the ambiance is colorful and inviting. Came with my family of 10 and the owner treated us with the outmost hospitality. We had 6 kids and he could not make us feel more welcomed. Thank you!
