La Familia

My new go to lunch spot in Soho. I have been to Mexico (three times) and let you tell you it’s the real deal! La Familia is a new Mexican restaurant (more street food than a classic knife and fork sit down).Perfect for me as I popped in between meetings. So fresh, chilled and a great addition to Soho! Added bonus - there’s a bar/ nightclub underneath and if the music and cocktails are as good as the food then this is a great find! Pics don’t do it justice.

Walking past looking for somewhere to have a drink with a friend stumbled across this gem. There was someone from the venue standing outside (not hassling people) so we asked if it was a good place to have a drink. He said yes (naturally) and directed us downstairs to the bar. We sat at the bar which ended up being a great seat as we could watch the bartenders in action and check out the resulting drinks. Big shout out to Hassan who was one of the bartenders, we asked for cocktail recommendations- he asked us what our flavour palette (sweet, sharp etc) was and made suggestions. All of which proved to be delicious, we tried 2 cocktails each and could quite happily have stayed for more but train times beckoned. Can not wait to go back and try their margaritas with a taco or 2

This place is a hidden gem in soho!!! The food is absolutely incredible, the staff were lovely and friendly, and the music was great. Will definitely be back soon.

Great Vibes! Have passed this so many times and finally decided to check it out with a friend. The main attraction was the £2 tacos! We did book a table which was a good shout since they were quite busy. Not the biggest space for seating but still accomodates decent amount of people. Staff member let us pick the available tables and was very friendly. To begin with we ordered a couple different drinks and one of each of the tacos. Drinks were amazing! Good portioned alcohol with the flavouring and syrups. The Tacos were good, especially the vegetarian choices. The beef and pork were good to taste although a little dry like they had been sitting for some time. The actual flavours were good and worth the £2 price tag. Prices do add up quick though, we spent about £94 for 2 including 2 cocktails (happy hour). Would definitely recommend for the atmosphere and Vibes.

The tacos were delicious and brilliantly flavoured! Our server was lovely and such a great small find in London with a great atmosphere and truly was a pleasure
