Barrio Tacos offers a vibrant and eclectic dining experience with its customizable taco options and lively atmosphere. The build-your-own taco concept is fantastic, allowing you to tailor your meal exactly to your liking with a wide array of fresh ingredients and unique combinations. The tacos themselves are okay, nothing special but they were overall good. My wife loved her bowl Our our drinks were lackluster. A flight of margaritas, a glass of whiskey. Both were underwhelming. However, the service was amazing. Our server was very nice and knowledgeable and gave us some places to visit while we were visiting Cleveland. Overall, Barrio Tacos is a solid choice for taco lovers looking for a fun and flavorful meal, earning a respectable 3.5 stars.

When the free chips are the best part of the meal, you know something’s wrong… The tacos were abysmal, took one bite and couldn’t finish. They were cold, uncooked, and the meat was as if it was it was just pulled out of the fridge, cold in the middle. The cheese was out of a bag, not even melted! Tortillas are from a bag not heated. Ordered 6/7 things and it was $50. Food took 30 minutes to make and it was mostly raw uncooked ingredients from a bag. 4 items out of the 6/7 items were $5.50 which means they overcharged us but we couldn’t get out of that place fast enough. Sat with our food for about 13 seconds before we got up to pay not having touched most of the food still wrapped on the table. They didn’t seem phased they knew the food sucked and didn’t care.

Google
It was our first trip to Cleveland. I wanted tacos. This place was highly reccomended. The food was great. The service was not on par with the food. Our waiter seemed like he was in a hurry to get away from us. He wasn't horrible just not what I was told the service would be. The place was kinda cool. I liked the way it was painted and set up.

Google
Barrio provided catering services for an event organized by my workplace for a Veteran nonprofit. Their prices were very reasonable, and they came fully prepared for the occasion. The food was delicious, and many attendees inquired about their contact information. The portions were extremely generous, and we even had leftovers. The event could have accommodated 20% more people, and we still would have had enough food left. Sarah, our coordinator from Barrio, was exceptional in her role. She was focused on ensuring our satisfaction, and her service was impeccable. The company's treatment of me as a client made me feel like part of their family. If you are uncertain about who to choose for your catering needs, I highly recommend Barrio. Don't hesitate - you will not be disappointed! Don't mind the messiness in the photos either -- that was all us!!

Google
I am only giving this a 2 star due to me saying no tip(on card), but gave cash but still ended up taking 20% tip on a card! the phone line does not work. so someone got a almost 20$ tip. isn’t that forgery? BBB might be hearing about this if no one contacts me.

Google
Open late on a Monday. Cute place & a great neighborhood find! Had tacos/rice & a drink. All was good

Google
Great time sitting outside and I liked the way the ordering is set up. The bacon on tacos was top notch. Cody was also an unbelievable server.

Google
Location is on the smaller side and you will have to park on the street if you drive here. That being said, we had no issue finding a place to park. As always, the tacos were fabulous. The chips and salsa were comforting. I love how their salsa is truly unique. Service was great. They have outdoor seating as well, however this can only be utilized during a few months of the year. It did not appear to be the most wheelchair/mobility device accessible, but they may have had accessibility features I did not notice.

Yelp
Tacos were average at best. The guac queso and chips were good. Chips were hearty and made fresh!

Isidora R.

Yelp
Put barrio behind bars because their build a tacos are a steal! Food 3.5/5: tacos are a great size (not those scrawny tiny ones you get at some places) and very filling. The ingredients were fresh and the sauces were scrumptious! 3 tacos, chips and salsa and a size of queso came out to 14$ ambiance 4.5/5: the indoor gives average pub but the outside patio is perfect in the warm weather. Nice music, good shade under the umbrellas and doggos are allowed too! service 3/5: clearly understaffed, the servers were very friendly but it did take over an hour to get 3 tacos. Come if you aren't in a rush and don't mind waiting! tips: - don't overdose on the sauces, otherwise the tacos will be WAY TOO WET - the "hot sauces" aren't that hot!! - 1$ off tacos on happy hour

Yelp
Love whiskey Wednesdays. Still reasonably priced tacos after all these years. I respect that. One of my go to lazy day places, love the vibe.

Tiffany H.

Yelp
I just love all the Barrios franchises but this one is a more intimate smaller restaurant I had a waiter named Cody he was on top of everything our drinks stayed filled and food came right out he engaged in conversation cool dude!! I wouldn't expect nothing less in Tremont I just love the vibe I get!! Food 10/10 bathroom was clean

Yelp
Located the trendy Tremont neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio, Barrio is a local chain serving up a vibrant fiesta of tacos dizzying variety, tasty tequila, and chill good vibes. The interior decor harkens a lively Mexican cantina. The walls are adorned with colorful murals, festive papel picado banners. Their outdoor patio is open during the warmer months that's always lively with sounds of conversations and tables are mostly shaded with umbrellas. The star of the show at Barrio are the tacos (they offer a couple bowl options as well). With a vast selection of signature creations and build-your-own options, there's something to satisfy every craving. "Carne Asada" and "Barrio Chorizo" tacos are my favorite for their kick of aromatic spices Barrio's margaritas did not disappoint. Any of these drinks are rich in flavor while also being boozy. Try their Margarita flight to get a wide range of taste or savor one or multiple of their specials. You can't go wrong. The service at Barrio is friendly most times. My server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered helpful recommendations. The food arrived promptly. fantastic spot for a casual and delicious dining experience in Tremont neighborhood, especially if you're looking for a fun and festive night out with friends or family.

Yelp
Brunch busy times we stoped by. Nice restaurant and great ambiance, music is a little too loud for my personal taste. The tacos are their best; they have brunch menu which I ordered cowboy and it was delicious! The other taco I ordered was El Jefe which is a classic of Barrio. I would suggest to get a "seasonal or flavorful guac or queso. Blanco queso is okay.

Jomar R.

Yelp
Always great food, always great service but the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. I know cleaning bathrooms would be last on ANYONES list but MAYBE considering hiring an actual cleaning service to come in and do the cleanup. It's pretty gnarly in there... come on guys... do better

Todd R.

Yelp
Always, always a fantastic time here! Great ambiance, service and food. These folks run a simple menu, a great drink selection, and they do it right. The staff member with the headband always makes my day. Always upbeat and friendly, dripping like he just shot an 80's MTV video (that's meant to be a compliment; if it's not, I'm sorry. I'm a 50-something dude trying my best!), and attentive to everything going on. If he's not the owner, he needs a raise as for me, he's 75% of the great experience there. If the weather is even remotely decent, sit outside, get an Elvis Juice and a few tacos, and enjoy the vibe!

Rachel P.

Yelp
We had a great evening on the patio - loved my Paloma and tacos! We also had the Buffalo chicken queso and it was something I want to replicate at home. The folks working were friendly and showed a lot of pride in working at Barrio, highlighting their favorites and the art around the space.

Anuj S.

Yelp
Barrio was a decent dinner stop today. The place is fine. The service was good. We had a trainee waiter and both he and the experienced guy paired up to do a good job. The ordering experience is unique in that you custom order these tacos on a checklist tear sheet. There are a lot of options. They do have a chef recommended sheet, but as a vegetarian, there weren't a lot of prescribed options. Not to worry, there are plenty of veggie options in the checklist. Hmm... The couple of tacos I ordered were fine. I think the crispy shell I ordered dominated the taste of the things I got as fillings. Maybe I didn't customize the order well, but maybe it takes multiple visits to figure it out. Idk, but this was my only time in the area. So... I'd have to defer to another visit. The chips and salsa were good. Margarita Perfecto was kind of ok.

Matt R.

Yelp
Always love coming here for happy hour or whenever we don't feel like cooking, the bowls are a must and one of the most overlooked items on the menu. We come here weekly and definitely a must try

Alex A.

Yelp
First time in the land and I saw Barrio had a high rating. I'm a taco enthusiast and love to see how people can reimagine this iconic food. Little did I know my time and money would be wasted. I waited 40 minutes for 4 tacos that you would find in the secret menu of a Taco Bell. Felt like high school workers get bored and start throwing random things together. The Camaron Agrietado was definitely the saddest taco of the bunch. 5 shrimp, kale, barely any sauce, and ice cold white rice in a flour tortilla. Second worst was El Sully, the chorizo was overly salty and had a soy-like consistency, not the regular pork feel I'm used to. El Jefe Loco was actually ok and La Tierra is the only reason I'm giving this a 2nd star. Actually great flavor and absolutely stood out from the rest. As consolation for waiting an extremely long time, I received chips and salsa and it tasted exactly like Pace chunky salsa. If they managed to figure out their recipe, that's impressive otherwise they're just selling canned salsa under the guise of "house salsa"

Mar O.

Yelp
A cute and affordable taco joint in the trendy neighborhood of Tremont...heck yeah! Custom tacos are only $4. And they were so delicious. We sat on the outside patio. Worth it!

Daniel Z.

Yelp
Decent Taco for happy hour. Cheap, filling, with great drinks. I always try to get to Barrio when I'm in Cleveland, as their happy hour is hard to beat if you are in the mood for mexican. Their margaritas are great, lots of options and cheap. Make sure you order 1 or 2 while you are here. The tacos have a lot of options. You get a sheet where you can customize it however you want. Lots of options for the taco, protein, veggies, sauce and extras. Give the tofu a try!

Laurie W.

Yelp
Came here for dinner with my cousin and her friend during a recent trip to Cleveland. I have pretty high expectations for good Mexican food since I live in Los Angeles, but this place did not disappoint and I actually find myself craving it now that I am back home. I love their queso so much and their tacos are absolutely delicious. I ordered a lychee margarita and the server politely corrected my pronunciation of the word lychee even though the way I pronounced it (I am Filipino and I grew up eating them) was correct.

Sarah B.

Yelp
Ordered double meat, rice, cheese, aoili, and salsa. Every time I have eaten here, they barely put any toppings at all on the tacos. This is not double meat. No cheese. No aoili.

David C.

Yelp
Perhaps one of the most delicious tacos I have had in a while. Got the make your own bowl with pork and the flavors were amazing. Paired that with a chorizo soft taco with aioli which was also delicious. Great food and great service!! Can't wait to roll back into town and check this place out again.

Scott C.

Yelp
This restaurant has possibility, but also some problems. The build-your-own taco idea is ok, but the kitchen sent out mixed-up orders that lacked items. Unfortunately, the server never bothered to check to see if the order was ok--I had to track her down. The tacos were ok, but were served on cold tortillas. Apparently, they don't really train the servers: Instead of removing an empty chip basket, she plopped down a new basket right on top of the empty one, and when asked for water refills, she kept bringing new glasses. (We must've had a dozen empty water glasses accumulate because she never removed any...). Usually, servers make some attempt to remove empty dishes--ours just sat. The back patio was nice, except for the gross pool of standing water from a drain pipe next to our table. This place could be good, but it needs better service.

Cam M.

Yelp
This Barrio is the worst Barrio in Cleveland second time they have given me someone else's order on door dash. How dumb can you seriously be? Another $30 wasted thanks Tremont Barrio.

Ashley C.

Yelp
Cory behind the bar is AMAZING! give the man a RAISE! The restaurant was dead but he made it such a great time.

Eddy G.

Yelp
I came from a from California and decided to go bar hopping all along Cleveland and I can say that this bar has been the best I've visited! The ambiance was so good and they had beautiful artwork everywhere and the staff was So kind and conversational! Shamus was our bartender and he did not disappoint when it came to being friendly and conversational! i spoke to another guy(I didn't get his name but he is in a sick band named tall grass) and he was very informative about all the local things to do! food was good service was good the vibes were right and the drinks were flowing! Would recommended to anyone visiting Cleveland! Especially because of the staff! 10/10 would recommend to anyone visiting Cleveland again

Lathan B.

Yelp
Great place with great tacos. Great location and service is top tier. Definitely recommend

Sonja D.

Yelp
Great tacos, fun atmosphere. Margaritas were overly sweet, under tequila'ed. Nice patio for sitting outside.

Ken T.

Yelp
So many options. You can choose your one ingredients to build a taco. Happy hour deals are fantastic. 1/2 off tequila! Many margarita flavors to choose from. Great decor.

Ailin J.

Yelp
I never order specials and decided today to order 4 different kinds. Tacos were made fast and to go order was easy to do (done through phone call) Hot as click -- not that spicy. I liked the crisp but i don't know if all of the flavors meshed in one bite El sully -- bomb. Probably more of a classic taco but I could've had a couple of these easy. Chorizo was great and that sauce should be kept secret. Bomba de tocinoa -- I believe I got 3 big bacon slices which made me quite pleased! Bacon was super good and had a great thickness. The aioli was a perfect sauce for this taco. La Tierra -- probably my least favorite of the four. The mushrooms meshed with the steak and I couldn't really taste them separately and it all just tasted mushy because of the mushroom. None of the tacos were actually that spicy or as spicy as they advertised. Spicy is easily managed.

Acacia N.

Yelp
The service was ok but the food was terrible. The tacos had no flavor. My boyfriend and I bought 5 tacos 2 build your own and they all tasted the same with no flavor. We ordered a soft shell with chorizo queso and a hard shell and there was no chorizo in it and barely any queso. The food came out barely warm and the queso we ordered also with chorizo was barely warm with chips not salted except for ONE at the bottom. Absolutely horrible waste or money and WASTE of calories. Im from Florida and would never recommend.

Steve M.

Yelp
The original and still the best. The location makes this place what it is. The food speaks for it itself, but the place itself really sets itself apart from the other locations. Built inside an actual house, you really don't feel like you're at a restaurant. Really cool vibes inside and out. Great outdoor space as well!

M. M.

Yelp
Great spot for tacos after work! Clean & service is fast! Drinks & chips are good too! We love Barrio from Ohio so we were thrilled to have them close by :)

Rachael S.

Yelp
We were sat on the patio on Saturday evening, June 17th, we did not receive any water/attention until we spoke to the hostess after 25 minutes. Once the waitress finally came to our table, we placed our order. We ordered Buffalo Chicken Queso and an order of burritos. The queso had raw chicken, please see image. This is unacceptable service, you should never serve your customers raw chicken!!!

Mark B.

Yelp
I used to enjoy the place when it first came out years ago but there has been a definite decline in food and service. Always understaffed, some servers are basically rude. The cost has escalated to levels where it is simply not worth the cost. Barely any steak at all in the "upgraded" taco. Always lukewarm, long waits and excessive costs make this a place I went to going from at least once a month to "Nah, I'll pass". Too bad. Looks like they might go the way of Melt. Once trendy now just not worth the visit. Haven't been back in well over a year and do not plan on going to any Barrio location in the near future

Rachel D.

Yelp
Cool spot with make your own tacos! The vibe was fun with day of the dead decorations everywhere and I loved the idea of the notepads taking your order! Food was good, loved the queso with the chips-that's a definite must! The tacos themselves were alright, seemed to be lacking flavor, but that could just be what I selected since I chose the make your own. It would be nice if hot sauce was offered as well. We walked in during brunch time and it definitely picked up. Our server forgot our water orders, but they were pretty busy with bartending and seating all the people coming in, so it was understandable. Otherwise, fun little joint!

Yelp
Visited the Cleveland area with a buddy for browns game. This was our favorite food establishment we visited. Very cool decor and we received great service. The free chips and salsa was great. Salsa may have the best flavor I've ever tasted in a red salsa. I ordered the cowboy taco which was a on the menu with tacos places together for you. And it was awesome. Great tasting taco. Maybe best I've ever had. My buddy created his own tacos with the grade school test looking menus and his number two pencil. He was a huge fan of his 3 tacos as well. Place was phenomenal and was very happy. I do have a complaint and concern but not enough to take away the five star as the covid era hopefully won't last forever. But here it is. Me and a buddy came and they only gave us one thing of salsa. So in the middle of a pandemic we have to share a salsa we both dipped in. Also the pencils and papers to pick Your tacos is risky with covid. I seen people leave the table Get bussed and people sit down at table And the pencils and papers that are touched all over and used aren't swapped out or sanitized. So it does seem like a covid hotbed. Which I know it's a risk when going out. But they could do better of containing possible spreads.

Caleb R.

Yelp
I actually had never been here before today. We ordered queso before our food along with I believe jalapeño shots. The queso was queso blanco and it was good for what it was. The jalapeño tequila shots were really tasty. If you don't like spicy, I would not order these.... If you like tequila & spice, then order three like I did lol. I ordered three soft flour tacos, and honestly I should have done my review sooner so I could list what I ordered, but the final product was delicious. Luckily we came right when they opened and it was happy hour so of course the drinks didn't stop for a while. Our waitress was very attentive and kind which I always appreciate. Being out in a snowy cold Winter Monday made this lunch visit all worth it. Will certainly be returning.

Andy C.

Yelp
Barrio's is not only affordable on a budget but also delicious. They have options to allow you to customize your own tacos and a wide array of sauces to complement them. I recently ordered their Barrio box for takeout and was impressed by their consistency in regards to their quality and taste in and out of the restaurant.

Michael B.

Yelp
I screw up every time I try to design my own taco. So I stick with the recommendations and have never been steered wrong. Great place.

Kirsten P.

Yelp
I got the taco take out meal. I tried el gringo, la Tierra, bomba de Tocino, and el sully. They were all great. The guacamole wasn't great, but everything else was delicious.

JJ J.

Yelp
My group and I came here after we found out that a 'no name please' kitchen wasn't open after 8:45pm, and thankfully so because this place was amazingly good! Since 2015, I've heard people talk about it and tell me how great it is. I've even walked by it downtown and never tried it until now at this location. You can't even compare it to Chipotle -- the chicken and rice on the flour tortilla, and the chips with queso and guac were out of this world delicious! There's maybe two other places I've been to that are on-par or just above this place, but man, I'd come back here more often if I get the chance. Now I understand what I've been missing. The service was great too. The only thing was a bit confusing at first was the scantron ordering sheets, but the people in my group helped me figure it out since it wasn't clear to me initially.

Thomas F.

Yelp
Ordered online using the app, had to wait half an hour past the estimated time to get any food and they messed up multiple items in my order. When I try to contact them through the online customer service form, they ignore it. Do not go here they have no regard or respect for their customers.

Rich G.

Yelp
We we're out of town visitors, and looked on Barrio is a pleasant Mexican taco establishment within walking distance of our airbnb. I enjoyed having established selections, but really liked the process to create my own taco. The possibilities were endless and I was able to select just what I wanted for the evening. The margaritas were quite tasty although it's still baffles me that establishments cannot make margaritas half Frozen and half on the rocks. When I do it myself I get one of each mix them in a pitcher and then pouring into two glasses. Doesn't seem like rock and science, but it bogles the creativity of many bartenders these days.

Jenny L.

Yelp
Stopped by for Cleveland taco week and had a good experience. It was busier than expected for a Thursday night, but service was still prompt. As the weather was nice, we chose to sit in the back patio which had great vibes. For drinks, I settled on a pomegranate margarita with cayenne sugar rim. The sweet and spicy sugar rim was tasty and complemented the drink well. The margarita didn't taste much like pomegranate to me and I would order a different flavor next time. For apps, we decided on the crab rangoon queso which was one of their specials. It was a tad too sweet but overall a pretty good and unique dish. They had 3 tacos you could get for $2 each during taco week, which were the el jefe loco, el gringo and el vegano. I got one of each since you had to order a minimum of 3 tacos. My favorite was the el jefe loco as it had 2 types of protein and a good amount of toppings. My least favorite was the el gringo as it was just a basic taco with ground beef. For $2 however, it's hard to complain. I know some people hate on Barrio as it's not the most authentic place for tacos. I agree that you can get more traditional tacos elsewhere. However, as I typically have good experiences here, I will continue to come back!

Annie M.

Yelp
Yum, yum, yum, yum, YUMMMMMM! Barrio is so freakin' delicious! I've been twice now and have been extremely happy both times. There is definitely an obvious reason that Barrio is always so busy. With (at least) two locations in Cleveland, Barrio knows what they are doing. The tacos here are incredible. They are complex, rich flavors, and have a variety of textures. Their margaritas and cocktails are great as well! I'm a sucker for their double layer tacos with a soft shell on the outside and hard in the inside. Between the two, you can get queso, avocado, and or beans. So so yummy! As for toppings, they have a menu that you can order from, or even better, you can create your own! The ambience in this location is really fun. It's kinda cramped but it's fine. There are a few different dining rooms as well as a large outdoor patio. It is also very loud inside. The (non-traditional but) beautiful Day of the Dead decor is energizing. I love it. The service here is OK, nothing amazing but we definitely got the food we ordered and eventually, the drinks too. I will continue to come back every time I'm in Cleveland!

Kelli H.

Yelp
Upon moving to Cleveland, a good friend of mine thoughtfully got me a gift card to Barrio. My husband and I stopped in this fall. We were seated quickly at a high top table and our friendly waiter explained how the menu works. We ordered two make your own tacos each. I found the build your own fun, but it also caused a bit of indecision paralysis for me. Is it crazy to say I wished there were a few less choices? Either way - two tacos is PLENTY. Very generous portion sizes. They both tasted good - though I found my chorizo one to be too salty. Definitely a solid place to come to watch the game or to take out of towners for a menu that will please everyone.

Tessa H.

Yelp
Enjoyed a beautiful afternoon on the patio for national tequila day. Great service & food.

Kimberly C.

Yelp
Good vibes and margs. I've been going to this place for a while now. It is very college-budget friendly and overall good for your buck. I typically get one taco with the marinated steak and munch on the chips and salsa they serve. I'm not sure why, but I especially like their chips and salsa. The tacos are okay. If you're looking for authentic tacos, this is not the place to go to. But the tacos have some taste, but not my favorite. I usually like the margaritas, but the last time I went, the margaritas didn't seem like it had any alcohol, which makes me feel jipped of my money. The service of the place is usually okay. Servers sometimes forget that they need to check in on you, which gets annoying if you want to pay the check. The place has a cool theme to it, with skeletons on the walls and dim lighting. Overall, this place speaks Cleveland, and is definitely a Cleveland thing to do and try.

Yelp
The hostess/manager (dark haired female w/glasses) was a complete BITC# and utterly unprofessional! Arrived around 12:30 today, Sunday 5/7 to meet family for lunch knowing Barrio has a fun atmosphere and decent food. My sister was talked to rudely and told there was a 45 minute wait for a table and the patio was not open due to impending rain (it never rained btw). They were short-staffed; however, this was NOT communicated to let patrons decide whether or not to wait. The bar had 3 empty seats but my sister was told someone's stuff was there so it was like "you can't sit there" even though the male bartender had it under control and was capable of serving us drinks 3 while we waited. Upon coming back from the bathroom after a few sips of my margarita, I approached said "manager" (in quotes bc she is NOT manager material) and asked why we couldn't be seated to have chips & salsa (with our drinks) since there were so many open tables in the dining room & we had waited about 1/2 hour at this point. I was told "I will tell you when and where you can sit". I was in complete shock! Is she trying to run Barrio OUT OF BUSINESS?? I get that she gets paid regardless of how she treats people but she is in the HOSPITALITY industry, right? And if they don't have customers, will she have a job? I was appalled and as we sat at the bar finishing our drinks, we had the discussion about staying or leaving (my vote was to obviously RUN (not walk) out the door). We were then called saying our table is ready by this same abhorrent person. I said to her in a very nice way "I understand you're short-staffed but I have never been spoken to in such a way like that" and before I even got it all out of my mouth, she turned on her heels and walked away from me! Again shocked someone could treat a patron like this, let alone another human being! Needless to say we told the server who approached after about 7 minutes that we were not staying and the reason why. She apologized to us and when I said this woman's attitude screwed her out of potential tips & I asked who the manager is, she confirmed she is THE MANAGER!!?? I will NEVER go to this Barrio location again thanks to this employee and her despicable treatment of patrons. FIRE HER! She is in the wrong line of work and obviously has never been trained to treat people with respect or dignity. Side note: are at Rowley Inn (close by) and interacted with at least 4 staff members who were friendly, professional & happy to serve! Still in shock about Barrio Tremont

Jeremy J.

Yelp
This place is fantastic it's cheap it's fast service is friendly they have all them cool scary day of the dead skull sitting around with the core awesome looking big fan of that kind of stuff my way there was super nice everything was really awesome so I'll definitely check this place out

Sarah H.

Yelp
This Barrio location is in Tremont, a fun area of Cleveland. I like going to this Barrio because if there is a wait time, the time is easily passed by walking around the neat little area. Other than a great location the food is almost always always good. Tacos are $3 to start, and surprisingly, you can get a lot for $3. It's also cool that you can design your own taco! There are plenty of options for everyone, whether you are a meat-lover, vegetarian, vegan, etc, you can have a great experience. Be sure to try the mango habanero sauce, a personal fav! There are also plenty of appetizers and drinks available. You always get a free basket of chips and a free bowl of salsa, which are refillable at no charge. If you want to be fancy, you can order queso or guac to go with your chips, and maybe a fruity margarita to wash it down. Always try the seasonal appetizers and drinks! The Fall ones are delicious- if you haven't tried the backseat cider margarita, you are missing out! The one thing Barrio could improve is their customer service and general customer focus.

Sarah T.

Yelp
Tacos and margaritas, you can't go wrong! They have special monthly tacos and dips and a menu of tacos or you can build your own. We really like this place for chips and queso. I always build my own tacos. They have a wide variety of shells, proteins, and toppings. You can also get a bow The servers are always nice and they have a great patio at Lakewood and the Tremont location. This is a Cleveland staple, check it out!

I still like coming to Barrio even when I'm super hammered. Great food when you're 3 sheets to the wind. A nice oasis in Tremont. Bar hopping strategy guide 101: if it's dead on the east side, hit the west side. Service is fast, you get free chips and salsa (which everyone loves) and the place has grungy music playing and it's filled with skulls. Been going there a long time, always a nice spot.
