I recently try to purchase a used book from BarristerBooks Inc, in which was said to be in stock. After I received my order number and confirmation, a day or so later, I receive a call stating they did not have the used book in stock as they thought. I asked the difference of a used and new book which was about 30 dollars without shipping, which I would now have to pay for because I needed it for class next week. I even told the gentleman that this was my last effort to get this book and if there was a way I could get the new book because of their mistake and inconvenience. They stated no I would need to pay full price. Talk about customer service, I will not recommend this site to any of me pre-law friends and I heed you to order from here. Their inventory obviously needs work. I should have listen to my gut instinct but again this was the last site that had the book in stock, or said they did...now I'll wait my 3-5 business days for my refund. Thanks for nothing.

I ordered a copy of a new book that was written by a writer from Scotland and isn't available for a few more weeks to most readers in the United States. The price was full price; about the same as the very few other sellers who have it right now in the United States and Canada. Since I was excited to read the book and it's snowing tons in the U.S. a lot right now in the KS and Nebraska area, I ordered 2-6 expedited shipping to WA state so it would get here FAST. The seller took my cash and sent it GROUND INSTEAD OF EXPEDITED.(?!?!?!) Not cool. No explanation of why they did so, either. There goes about eight dollars of my money. Got here in about 5 days safely instead of two or three, but DON'T GIVE CHEAP MAIL SERVICES when the customer PAYS for EXPEDITED. Come on already. BE HONEST, Barrister Books!!! Shame on you!
