Barsham Barns Holiday Cottages

A family holiday to celebrate an important birthday. We rented the Great East Barn for the 14 of us over the recent half-term holiday. The lounge, kitchen and dining areas are generously sized, impressive, and well equipped. We cooked each evening and had no problems with the amount of crockery and equipment available. The private garden area and the hot tub were a bonus. The bedrooms and bathrooms however are compact and there was nowhere to dry towels on the damp October days after a shower. However this did not impact on our overall enjoyment of the property which was well positioned for visiting the north Norfolk coast.

I haven’t been for 10 years but I looked for directions a few weeks ago and Google hasn’t let me go since. It was very nice 10 years ago is all I can say.

We recently stayed in Greys Cottage (6 adults, 4 young children). They cottage itself was amazing, very clean, well equipped, spacious etc with a huge secure garden to the rear. The use of the spa and games room it also a really nice bonus. There was also a BBQ, oven, hob, microwave etc so really easy to be self sufficient. The owners also put us in touch with a local person who delivers home cooked meals that just need finishing in the oven and the food was fantastic. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Had the pleasure of providing a Cocktail Bar for a Corporate Away Day at Barsham Barns recently. From a supplier point of View, this venue is amazing. It is in the middle of nowhere, but the peace and tranquil of just being away from civilization is the big draw. The House/Barn i was at had an amazing Garden & Patio area and the inside was pretty spectacular too. Definitely one of the better Venues I've had the pleasure of working at recently. Can't wait to visit again.

Nice barn for big groups but not really fit for the 21st century. Internet is atrocious and there is virtually no mobile signal so if you need to make and important work or personal calls it’s impossible. We ended up having to drive to the local costa coffee! Also even though there are perfectly usable and safe external power sockets, electric car charging is prohibited for some reason. Finally two of the bedrooms in our accommodation are located directly next to the kitchen and dining area meaning whoever sleeps there needs to be happy with their rooms smelling of the kitchen and always being the last ones to go to bed.

Lovely big house ,we all enjoyed our family weekend away ...only down side was there was wet towels in our room(like soaking wet)(no extra towels)when we arrived and someone had used the toilet .but a beautiful home from home .would recommend...but take your own towels 🙂

Stayed in Long Barn with a group of girlfriends to celebrate a birthday, beautiful barn and location, enjoyed it so much I booked another stay a few weeks later in the The Loose Box which was perfect for 2 couples to share. Great location to visit the North Norfolk coast
