I asked for them not to burn the cheese on my pizza and they made it so well done!!! && it smelled burnt. This was my first visit here... I won't be back!!!. There was a lack of flavor to the pizza probably because it was overcooked! The guy that brought my order to the car was very pleasant.

We have been here twice and both times we ordered the meatball pizza. The meatballs are very tender and a great compliment on the pizza. Also the family sized pizza is HUGE! We also ordered the Bartolini’s sampler appetizer platter, onion rings were deep fried to perfection, mini meatballs were great, cheese sticks and beer nuggets were also good. My son had the Elvis burger which has 4 patties, it was so big he only ate half. Italian beef sandwich didn’t disappoint either. Everything we have had we would order again. Our server Neli was great and was very attentive and checked on us throughout the meal. I would highly recommend coming here.

We stopped on our way to Elkhart from O’hare and so glad we did. Great vibe, excellent food and service. The owner stopped by to say hello which was a nice gesture. You can tell everyone is having a good time at this place. I’d definitely love to come again!

Went for the first time tonight with my family. Food was delicious. I really appreciated the beer selection; good, unique selections but also a wide swath of options to cover all (from IPA to Belgian to German to standard macro options). Service was excellent too. One of the owners, Chris checked with us multiple times. Our server Jordan was quite helpful too. We will be back.

My family has been coming to Bartolini’s for years, and I can honestly say we’ve never had a bad meal or experience. It’s rare these days to find a truly family-owned restaurant, and the moment you walk in you can feel the difference. Whether it’s one of their fun themed menus (the Oktoberfest brat dinner was outstanding!) or catching a big game on their TVs, Bartolini’s always delivers a welcoming, enjoyable experience. The Bartolini family and their crew treat you like part of the family—and that’s what keeps us coming back.

I absolutely loved this place! Great food, Brittany was an incredible server. We had mama's lasagna, Cajun fettuccine alfredo, and thin pizza with pepperoni, sausage, onion and green peppers and the tiramisu. Everything was good portions, delicious, perfect temperature, cooked and sauced to perfection. The atmosphere is welcoming from the moment we entered the door, family owned and they make you feel like family! Will definitely be back next time we come back to Chicago. All I can say is Wow! Calzone is bigger than my head! And raspberry habanero beef is from out of this world!

Bartolini's catered our volunteer celebration at church. I have worked with a lot of caterers for various church events over the past 10 years. Bartolini's was an absolute delight to work with. Their food was delicious and the service was an 11 out of 10. I can't say enough about how easy they made my job!

The boys don't mess around here! This has been a longstanding local favorite of ours, and we're here at least a few times a month. PERFECT bruschetta, generous portions of incredible pastas, meatballs that are nothing short of decadent, and even the fried chicken is exquisite--flavorful, crispy, and JUICY. He loves the steak sandwiches, and don't even get me started on the calzones, which are absolutely worth the wait (order‑ahead options available). Long ago, when they were just starting out, a waitress was so swamped she forgot to put in our order. It was getting close to closing time, and one of the owners noticed. He came out, was extremely apologetic, and had a rush put on our food. They made it to go and didn't charge us a dime. That was the moment I knew these guys were going to succeed. One of our absolute favorite places to eat, and their new location is just right--classy casual, modern, down‑to‑earth, yet somehow out of this world.

We have been here four times this year and wish we could find more time to go. The service is always great, food is top notch especially their meatballs. Sunday cream of chicken soup is very good too.

Hands down the best pizza in the south suburbs. The sauce (gravy, as they call it) is perfect, full of flavor and not overly sweet like a bunch of other spots. I also highly recommend you try their bruschetta, they serve it with garlic bread that is FANTASTIC. Their new location is also really nice, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available within walking distance of the train station!

I have been to bartolini several times but this recent time I was not impressed with the food. The pizza seemed to be very dry and the Caesar salad seemed like it was very wilted! I ordered a dinner salad but it seems like it was enough for just a side salad. Don't know if I will come back to this place.

We came all the way from California after seeing a TikTok video on the deep dish. The restaurant invited us to make reservations and here we are. When we walked in we were greeted by the kindest hostesses and the owner Chris immediately came to our table to welcome us. He was so kind and just a wonderful soul. We ordered the deep dish, an appetizer meatball and Chris complimented us with the BEST cheesecake ever. The food was AMAZING, the cheese the pull the SAUCE to DIE FOR! I highly recommend BARTOLINI. If I lived here I would be enjoying this restaurant weekly. Heavenly Father, continue to Bless Chris and his brother and this restaurant establishment. They are what is needed to help heal this broken world. May their business prosper and be a growing staple in their community. May they continue to be the light in this dark world. Excellent food as always including the best fried chicken in the Chicagoland area. The mini-meatball appetizer is to die for and the #5 Southside Irish beer is the best amber on tap around. The new digs are beautiful and the service is great.

They can get busy but I likeD it when I can have a private party all to myself in the afternoon. The staff is attentive and friendly, ensuring that every guest feels valued and cared for. Whether you're enjoying a casual lunch or celebrating a special occasion, Bartolini's delivers with impeccable service and mouthwatering flavors. Just a fantastic place to stop about one mile away from 294/57. Food is great...beer nuggets, meatball appetizer, pizza, pasta, paninis have all been family favorites. Service is great, well attended and the owner is always around chatting tables up. Prices may seem a little high but expect everything you get to be two meals and bring plenty of leftovers home.

As always the food was delicious. We also highly recommend ordering from gold belly if you live out of town. Everything thing we have ordered is always of top notch quality

Good food, good service, friendly staff. We've been going here for decades. It's a decent place to sit down and have some food and drinks. Their craft beer menu is definitely well above average for the local restaurants. Nice neighborhood spot owned by locals. Not a chain. Would recommend.

The food was very good as was the service, the noise level is a little high and unfortunately the parking is not adequate for the size of the restaurant . We will definitely be back!!

My recent catering order was flawless, and the party guests loved the food! We went with 2 salads, pan of cheese lasagna, tray of mini meatballs, and fried chicken. The house made giardinara was the perfect touch! SOOO GOOOOD! Thanks Bartolini's! You knocked it out of the park!

They have a great meatball sandwich. I love meatball sandwiches. I still live close to Ogden Avenue in grand Avenue It was all Italians around there. They made a great beef in that area too. They give you a choice of fries, potato chips, or coleslaw fries aren't that good the coleslaw was really good when my daughter gets back from New York. I will probably take her there for dinner.

What can I say? Just another excellent dinner at Bartolini's... We started with the beer nuggets (of course), then ordered the meatball sandwich and the cod dinner, and topped the night off with the ice cream cookie sundae. Throw in a few drinks and it was a perfect meal.

Do I recommend Bartolini's?? of course the best tasting pizza in the south suburbs service is impeccable. I used to be a fan of Giordano's, but not anymore. Sausage and cheese is great. Spinach is great. Calzones are great and they'll customize your pizza for you and your cow if you don't like cheese you don't have to have cheese.

First off I have never had a bad meal here. I have gone out of my way to eat here sometimes driving 100 miles or more in my meal planning. Yes I drive a truck. The staff treats you like family. Some of them I have known since they were young. Recently I have started ordering off the weekly specials menu and finding new favorites. Chris and Dom keep up the excellent family friendly service long into the future.

Soooo I did an incredible review some time ago. But when the food is this good? WTH I'll tell you again... been eating here since 1998 and NEVER had a bad meal. They serve everything except steak and lobster. But seriously, whether you want a Polish, burger, pizza or fresh pasta and fresh salad... it's here and it's GOOD

It's been at least ten years since I've been to Bardolinos; they have since moved to a newly renovated location nearby. I ordered a Dewars White Label Scotch on the rocks with a lemon twist with just a little ice; the waitress returned in a few minutes with a glass overflowing with ice cubes spilling over the side. My sister ordered a Diet Coke; after a few minutes, I asked her if she would drink her drink, but she said it had an odd taste, so I tried it. It was way too sweet with a "metallic" taste. We waited a few minutes to order an appetizer. We chose the mini meatballs., I can't believe how many meatballs are in order; I'd say at least close to twenty with delicious marinara sauce and a good amount of Mozzarella on top (we both took home four home each}. I ordered the Meat Lasagna, which was huge. It was good except for the Marinara Sauce, which was too thick and pasty, with too much tomato paste, and nowhere near as good as the sauce with the Meatball Appetizer, which was right on the money. My sister ordered the Chicken Bruschetta, a chicken breast bruschetta on top, mashed potatoes, and a seasonal vegetable. My sister didn't care for it all; it was bland, and the potatoes looked like they came out of a box, not fluffy. We passed on the coffee and dessert. If I did go back, I would stick with the pizzas and Italian sandwiches.

Family-owned for over 30 years, this restaurant continues to grow and shine. The meatballs and pizza are Goldbelly staples. For those of you with an adventurous spirit, try the 10 pound meatball sandwich and see if you can win the $5,000 prize for fastest consumption. I can't tell you a favorite because so many of them are perfection. I love the Vodka sauce, the Bolognese, the chicken and dumplings soup (which is a staple there); their salads are the freshest you'll get and the dressings are homemade. The owners, Dominic and Chris, are graduates of the Culinary Institute of America and it shows in all their dishes. For those of you who like a bit of a kick, they make their own habanera dressing. One last thing, the staff is superb. You're greeted with a smile, the owners go from table to table making sure everything is perfect, and the prices are great.

I catered my son's graduation party from here. It was awesome! From the person who took my order to the delivery person, the customer service was top notch! The food was soooo good, Italian American comfort food, arrived promptly, hot with all the cutlery, napkins and plates. I will definitely recommend Bartolini's for any large group of people, they do not skimp out. We ordered for 25, 25 ate, and we only made it through half of the food! Good thing it makes for great left overs ;)

The food was delicious!! I had a Calzone with Sausage and Mushrooms that was extremely tasty! I also had a slice of pizza with sausage,onions and sweet peppers. It was tasty too! The service was kind and prompt. I will be visiting Bartolini's again.

Fantastic food and catering for decades now. They are my go to for catering on holidays. And when I just want to bring the family up for some good italian or pizza. Top notch, 1st class. Never disappoint.

Last time I ordered food was not like first time. Only ordered twice from there They were slow that day. My food was cold. My child got pizza that was dried out he wouldn't even eat it. Steak sandwich had a lot of oregano on it lasagna wasn't like first time ordered Spent almost $80 I should have called to complain and get my money back but I didn't. Won't be ordering from there again.

Chuckle or Ignore the sexual innuendo's on their work attire , And enjoy their Italian Meatballs Pizza and other delicious food. Their presence put Midlothian back on the Map after the closure of Cavallinis and the Chick wagon

If you remember nothing else --- calzones and meatball sandwich. The sweetest staff and phenomenal made to order meals. Can't wait to try their pizza (regular and cauliflower crust). Gluten Free Menu available.

The food is fantastic! Pizza is bomb and the pasta is huge portions for a very fair price. Their red sauce is great on everything. We had a reservation. It's a really nice place but it is very LOUD. My parents are a little older and we couldn't have a conversation because we were actually shouting at each other. They need to install the sound absorbing foam because it's not really a place for a date or family dinner. Our server was terrible but the staff helps each other and we got our refills, dessert and Togo containers from different people. We actually only talked to the server 2 time the whole dinner. She didn't even pick up the bill but jokes on her because we tipped her like crap and I'm a good tipper. I'll definitely go back but maybe not on a weekend night because of how loud it is.

This review is for two visits The first visit we went here with a party of eight for lunch at their new location. Everyone ordered something different from pizzas to dinners and all was enjoyed. The server was very nice and attentive. She also filled our drinks without us asking. Oh btw their meatballs were awesome and well worth the trip. Also they have great chicken dumpling soup. Second visit was for a carry out based on the food from our first visit. This visit had a hiccup as when I was walking in my phone was ringing. It was the owner calling to tell me they had an issue with the oven which was evident from the smell. He offered me anything but pizza so I got a dinner instead. He was very apologetic and handled as a good business owner should, others should take note. This gave me an opportunity to see their kitchen which was very clean and the crew worked as a team in back.

Just had the best salad .. Tex Mex salad was delicious 10/10 recommend! My kids got the chicken Alfredo and loved it!! Can't wait to try the rest of the stuff. Glad they are so close by.

Stopped in and tried a slice of their pizza it was ok at best. I was hoping they had their meatball pizza available by the slice. Nothing I would go crazy over. It's decent casual join. The pizza slice was $5. The service was very friendly and attentive. The inside had an old school kind of feeling, but a little different since it was inside a strip mall. They do have a large wrap around bar that I wish I could have hung out at for a beer and try some other food.

This restaurant is amazing!!! Their food is so good! It's insane! You have to try this place! What he orders: The meatball sandwich. He says there is none better and trust me he gets one from any place we try. The fried chicken sandwich is his new addiction though. He loves the raspberry habañero sauce so much, we now have a bottle of it in the fridge. What I order: The calzone. I'm a weirdo and I don't like a lot of toppings in my calzone. Actually, I like it plain. Just cheese and sauce wrapped in their dough. Baked and then coated in their garlic butter. Oh, and I get a side of that butter. That butter- which in all likelihood is just butter and garlic put in a blender is the s***. I had some leftover and I used it to cook a filet or fish in, and wow. I mean. I need to know the proportion of garlic to butter so I can make this at home. The meatball appetizer. I get one order and save half for another day and you know what? It's fantastic reheated in the oven. I don't get it. The meatballs don't dry out! We are so obsessed with two dishes each we haven't tried anything else. I know! I know! We need to! If these four dishes are excellent, I'm sure so much if not everything else on their menu is equally as delicious. Warning: my photos are pretty terrible. They do not do this place justice!

We love going to Bartolini's when we are in town. Our go to is of course the meatballs. My kids absolutely love the meatballs. My parents transported frozen bags of meatballs to TN, about 6 hours from Bartolini's. They are still fresh and amazing! My family is currently in a meatball coma from devouring the meatballs! You'd be silly to pass up these meatballs. I love Bartolini's because it is more than just a dining experience. The owners are constantly walking around talking to the customers and ensuring that the food is good. I have never had a bad experience here. Between the food, the servers, the owners and the atmosphere I know that my belly is going to be full and my heart will be happy after visiting Bartolini's!

The food is very good; however, ever since they moved, their prices went way up. They used to offer pasta specials but now you have to build your own and that gets very pricey. Parking stinks and lately you can't get in. It's a shame since we used to like going there. Hostesses can sometimes be rude and forget to seat you after you've been waiting.

My favorite restaurant. The owners Chris and Dominic are fantastic and care about their customers. The food is outstanding, they're known for their meatballs but honestly every special they make is outstanding.

Came to visit the new location off 147th. The space is more modern and open than when it was located in the plaza off Pulaski. Parking is VERY limited. When we came in we noticed the three tables legit outside the restrooms which I thought was extremely odd. Walking to the restroom you can smell the soap and a strange scent which would make me nauseous and lose my appetite if I was ever sat there. If I were the owners I would suggest utilizing that space for something different than what it is now. Service was subpar, our waitress never introduced herself and was not attentive. Food is just okay, pizza is very greasy and lacks an sufficient amount of sauce. Don't believe I will be making a trip back anytime soon.

We ordered this via Goldbelly to be delivered to us in Mountain View, CA. Got the package for 2 deep dish and 2 thin crust pizzas. We ordered a little over a week in advance and was able to get free shipping. Our delivery was shipped overnight from Chicago and arrived on the estimated delivery date. All the pizzas were packed pretty well in a styrofoam box with ice packs. The only minor issue was that one of the thin crusts might have been knocked around by an ice pack because the crust pierced the plastic wrap and cracked a bit. I just wrapped it a bit more with Saran wrap and put into the freezer for a future meal. Otherwise all the pizzas arrived intact. My husband and I were very impressed with the taste and quality of the meatball deep dish! That was the only one we tried so far. I followed the instructions by thawing the pizza in the fridge for two nights, instead of one night, since we weren't ready to eat it the next day. Baked at 400F for 45 mins on a cookie sheet and everything came hot and deliciously gooey. I can't wait to try the other pizzas in the future. This would be a good gift idea for special occasions since people are more hesitant to eat in restaurants due to the pandemic -- bring the restaurant to them! It was super fun to get authentic Chicago pizza delivered straight to our door in California.

The food was outstanding! I had the Pork Schnitzel, green beans, & dumplings! Yummy! Our server Neli was very attentive and kind. Great ambiance on the patio. We listened to Grace & John, whom we love to follow. We'll be back! The owners, Dominick & Chris are great guys!

I appreciate a business where the business owner rolls up his sleeves and supports his staff. On top of that, the staff make you feel at home. This alone makes me want to come here. The food is delicious especially the meatballs. The pizza is also tasty and you can't go wrong with a sandwich or a burger. The kids menu has a variety of options which you don't see often. Quick tip: If you have kids, or your a kid at heart, bring some change to play the claw machines while waiting for a table on a busy night.

I just had one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The braised short rib grilled cheese panini as absolutely decadent. HUGE sandwich with delicious, quality ingredients. Can't wait until they have it again. Well done folks!!!! Oh, and the crispy cheese edges.

Service at bar slow. Food is great, Betty is great, Chris is awesome. Lunch specials and portions phenomenal.

The food was fairly delicious. I wish they had a bit more of photos for the options as there are many. The Gnocchi with fried chicken was creamy and yummy but I didn't expect there to only be tiny bits of fried chicken for close to 18 dollars. Mamas Lasagna was the star of the show along with my fiancé lol we were greeted and seated pretty quick with a smile and positive energy. The energy here was relaxed family friendly and lots of TVs and posters/photos to view and admire. Looking forward to coming again.
