Fantastic food and wonderful service. We received an absolutely delicious cake as a gift!

Defiantly fancy but worth it. The food is modern and artsy with multicoloured dough for vareniki and sometimes over the top presentation. But man is it good! The borscht was wonderful and the boar and wild mushroom stuffed cabbage rolls with cream sauce were a real dream. The cocktails are also the best I’ve had in Kyiv! They were perfect. Staff was super.

Very nice experience. The green Bortsch, the Burger and the barvy cake are really good! Waiter was very friendly. 3 courses, two drinks and Tip about 21,50€. Very modern and cozy atmosphere. The meals where all above standard. The potatoes with a light truffle taste the brioche from burger was very tasty but not good for a burger. That’s maybe why they hand out plastic gloves for eating. The Barvy cake was outstanding tasty. Wit a lot hazelnuts. I think a real calories bomb! I can recommend this restaurant 100%

The place is very nice and cool, although it is quite expensive. Prices are a little bit higher than average. Cuisine is very nice and delicious. One thing that confused me is the new of the fish and a drink below it. At first, I thought that it should be served together, but no, I was wrong. Waiters are super nice and polite. Location is also very nice because it is very close to the city center.

If this is Ukrainian food, I love Ukrainian food. Variability of dishes, flavored, fresh, healthy and tasty. The ambient was cozy and the waitress was attentitive and friendly. I strictly recomend this place, I’ll go back. Don’t forget to try the cake BARVY!

Delicious! Highly recommend! Every dish was absolutely exceptional! Traditional ukranian borsch- fantastic! So were the selection of the 2 kinds of pate. The coctails a little too sweet, (don't remember the name of it unfortunately) but it were served so beautifully. Highly highly recommend. The waiter was a lovely helpful guy too.

My friend here in Kyiv recommended this place to me. After eating here, I can certainly recommend it. It’s a modern take in traditional Ukrainian dishes. Each place comes into with a very unique look and variation. I got the Chicken Kyiv, very tasty and just the perfect size. The interior is nice too. Very modern and unique looking. I’ll be back.

Dinning out in Kyiv, well many excellent restaurants. Barvy one of them. A nice blend of Ukrainian traditional and modern cuisine. Well known restaurant within the dinning out community. Location not bad, not the best, but accessible just by walking from the city centre. Interior design modern and table layout allow for romantic date, small parties and for those dinners who would like dine next to the band playing live music especially on weekends. Sitting in the bar counter a nice option too. Quality of food is excellent. So why three stars, right? It is the service, yet again an overall spread disease in Ukraine. I tend to speak to managers. Investing in a restaurant should go along with investing in staff and service approach. Staff spoke English but couple of orders went wrong. Not busy but server forgot to bring few drinks. My advise don't assume servers understand you, but be specific and simple when you place an order. Last but not least, don't mix culinary with POLITICS! I let you check the photos attached to have your own opinion on this. Would I go again? Yes food is delicious, but have a word with the manager. Enjoy!
