Interesting fusion between basque ingredients and Asian techniques. Pretty unique, but you have to like it. The start was with a small cabbage hummus, served while waiting for your order. We then got a Cappuccino of Cod to share, 8 makies with a chili pepper and rice base and cod-fish cream on top. Pretty complex taste, but good. We then had a local grilled beef, very well cooked and tasty, a grilled pigeon with its stuffed gyozas/ravioli, very tasty even if it requires to combine in a proper way the meat, the gyoza and the sauce. Last main dish was a ramen seafood based, with noodles. Very intense taste. To end we order two desserts, the mojito ice cream, served with caramelized orange skin and the French toast with dulce de leche. Both very sophisticated and tasty, the first to prefer if you like a bitter taste, the second if you like a sweet option.
The venue is very elegant and cozy, with a very nice playlist accompaining the dinner.
Staff was very attentive and nice. Recommended to try, but not expecting a pure basque restaurant.
