The best restaurant I've been to so far in Cape Town, I went alone and they treated me very well, amazing drinks, fantastic food and sublime atmosphere. You feel like a millionaire 🤌

Brilliant cocktails and great vibes. Overall a big fan of this place and the drinks. Service is good, however I feel some detailing was missing, like removing the nut & olive plate when empty, etc.

Lovely whiskey bar situated across the marina, in the VA waterfront. Has a high-end speakeasy set up. Impressive whisky selection, but also a considerable and impressive wine cellar. Pleasant outdoor seating with views of the marina and Table Mountain. Light and heavy snacks available. Higher end stuff. I had a very pleasant time sipping sparking wine and enjoying the oysters, whole balding in the afternoon sun.

One of my favorite bars in Cape Town. Great food, great service, and an excellent variety of Whiskeys. Staff is always friendly.

Absolute pleasure to have had drinks here. Away from the touristy chaos of the waterfront, this place is a hidden gem for cocktails, whiskey and more. With a very extensive drinks menu and very friendly staff and service, we were saddened we only discovered this place on the last day of our trip. Staff is also very helpful and knowledgeable on all things whiskey. Great experience.

What a lovely experience! From the atmosphere to the service, it was impeccable. We did a premium whiskey tasting for my dad and Nevin had the most wonderful bank of whiskey knowledge. He was passionate and made the experience very memorable. Highly recommend this experience.

Less than impressed! When we got to the venue they had no booking for us despite receiving confirmation from Dineplan. We proceeded to sit indoors and then changed to outdoor seating. Not much later Groote Post arrived and set up a tasting in the very area we had been sitting, I have to wonder what would have happened had we have stayed there?! It would appear their booking was also not confirmed. The lamb chops were raw, the kingklip looked and tasted like chicken and was served 35 mins after the rest of us were served our mains and only after I enquired about it ( no fault of the waiter). 5k bill ( clearly tourist prices) for a meal and overall experience which was well below par. Won't be back any time soon. I must mention though that our waiter was fabulous , wish I got his name.

Located at the Cape Grace Hotel, This is a pleasant gem hidden in the waterfront that can be found on the right end of the hotel with access side to the bar. Parking is ample. Staff is amazinly professional and friendly, keeping patrons very satisfied with speedy delivery and tending to customer needs and requests. The focus is naturally whiskey,with a dedicated menu and experience for whiskey lovers across the world. However, the food and cocktails, gorgeous tableand dock view are for everyone. If you are looking for a relaxed spot with good food and cocktails, look no further. Prices are midrange depending on what you order, but the bill can quickly jump. Highly recommend this bar!
