Base Backpackers Brisbane Uptown

Really good hostel, with a really good placement. Prices are good but with the weekly rates offered it make it even more worth it. The staff is nice, and helpful. The 4 share room I was in was bigger than expected with a nice clean bathroom. Only issue I had was with the water flow in the shower, I told the staff and it was fixed the same day.

My stay in the Base Hostel in Brisbane was great! The staff members are really organized and friendly. They offer a good comfort and a good service around the kitchen and cleaning the rooms. I had no troubles or complains and could enjoy my stay here as good as it was possible. I got checked in by „Ida-Man“ and she was very kind and helpful. As well on other days when I asked her for help and questions she was very helpful and open. Thank you for the good stay!

The staff are amazing and the location too. I arrived pretty late and had an early flight in the morning. In my room, it seemed that people went partying, so I changed my mind about sharing the room with more people to lower the price and asked if I could rebook. I got a private room! Of course I was lucky but I just loved how your comfort is the priority and the people there are nice and relaxed. Ready to help you with any issue you might have.

Really enjoyed my stay! Rooms and facilities are clean, spacious and comfortable. Great customer service and local knowledge from all staff and a great vibe throughout the hostel. It's in a fantastic location in the heart of Brisbane for an affordable price. Although it's a little bit more expensive than neighbouring hostels, it is worth every dollar the moment you pop your head on the super comfy bedding and greeted by such clean and inviting facilities! You won't be disappointed.

I’ve been staying at base since April and I couldn’t have found better accommodation! From the late night arrival I was greeted with enthusiasm from Corey the night manager. Also the front reception team including Dougie and Ben who have both gone out of their way always smiling and cheerfully responding to a few requests over this time. I’ve stayed in both a private room equipped with king size bed, tv and coffee making facilities. The shared rooms are large and have the benefit of bathroom in each one. Thanks to the x Base team, I really appreciate your hospitality.

Amazing hostel, great atmosphere, very friendly reception staff, housekeeping is great. Worth the money. Been traveling Australia for 3 months now and this is the best hostel I have stayed in. Close to everything in the city, cheap drinks and food in the bar next door, great discounts everyday! 5* all round guys, keep up the good work!

Best hostel in Brisbane!! The rooms are clean and the beds really comfy. Kitchen was really nice as well. Staff at reception was the best, so nice and welcoming especially Saskia helped me out so much, she’s the best! For sure staying here again when I come back to Brisbane!

Just as a hostel should be. No frills, yet clean and inviting. A hostel is typically made by the staff, not the closet your bed is in and the staff here were terrific. Never hurts to get a free drink ticket to the pub connected to the lobby as you check in. This place was great for the price.
