Base Cafe Steakhouse + Bar

My husband brought me here for our Valentine's Dinner and we were really impressed by the service and the quality of food. We ordered the T-Bone and Ribeye Steaks at masarap both. Even the appetizer (scallops) and Greek salad superb din. Generous serving and sulit for its price. ❤️

The ambiance was good. We went there on a rainy afternoon and it felt like we were on other country. The service was excellent. We met the manager Ms. Elaine and she is really professional and approachable. The food, AMAZING!! My 11 yr. old son loved the pasta and my husband loved the steak. The steak was cooked as we ordered. We will come back. Highly recommended for steak lovers. 🤤♥️🤌🤌

Alfresco dining. It was okay when we were there mid-May. Not too hot. The serving time is too long, we waited at least 30minutes before the appetizer (salmon sashimi) was served. Not sure what took so long. The main dish was served 15mins after. The steak was delicious but inconsistently cooked. We ordered medium but there was one steak that looks almost rare. The fries that came with the steak was huge and okay.

The food is perfect! The staff is also kind and accomodating. I highly recommend going to this place especially for special occasions.

Valentines Day 2026, We ordered at the same time as the couple beside us, but they received their food first while we didn’t get ours. Two tables seated after us were also served before us. After waiting almost 2 hours, we decided to cancel our order. It seems they can’t handle a large number of customers, and there’s no table numbering system to manage serving priority. The waiters also appeared confused about where to serve the food. I don’t recommend dining here during peak holidays like Valentine’s Day.

Let me start off sa place, it was good actually, they have Al fresco dining, stayed there for a little while lang kasi the staff offered us if we'd want to transfer to their airconditioned area (which is katabi lang din naman). Their staffs are all very accomodating, guiding us for our order since we're not fully decided on our meal until we finished our meal (from time to time they are checking on us about the food, comfortability, etc.) For the food, we waited for 30-45 mins, I think? which is understood cause this is not a fast food. But the waiting time is very worth it, the food is great. We ordered truffle pasta and angus steak (both are good for 2). The taste fo truffle pasta is not so over whelming, hindi nakakaumay plus sobrang creamy. Meanwhile for the steak, kuha nila yung requested doneness (although there are small portions na I think hilaw pa since hard to chew but overall okay sya). We even had a wine (asked them different wine available, recommendation) to more compliment the steak. And they got also a little surprise for us, a complimentary dessert since Sir Joel heard that we are celebarting our anniversary. Definitely we'll be back there (would like to also try Frasch by Base Cafe Group)

The service was excellent, efficient and fast. Server Princess was very friendly and attentive. She responded well to questions. The Carbonara was perfectly flavor my favorite 😍The steak was also perfect we enjoy it. We also try the norweigan salmon dillet and we like it also. All the good is good for sharing .
