Base Camp Bar & Grill

Friendly staff but the quality of food has dropped significantly in recent years. The hot drinks are served warm the food - is an also not hot when it arrives. The food itself is fine for bar food but often feels like you can just make the same stuff at home- nothing special. Would be better if it was served hot!

2 stars for the server who was very nice, but the food was pretty lacking. Ordered the elote dip, it was over salted, had a layer of grease at the bottom, and the corn was very chewy and didn’t seem fresh. Not sure if it was overcooked or what the problem was but it had the texture of frozen corn. The chips that came it were way over salted as well. We don’t mind paying the higher prices if the food is decent, but this was pretty disappointing.

Located at base of Snowmass village, provides a great choice of food. Every dish is very well prepared and delicious. Staff is extremely attentive and make sure you are well taken care of. Great place to take a break during skiing

Food always tastes better when you just came off the slopes. However, Base Camp could satisfy any appetite any time. I tricked out the grilled cheese with brisket and avocado. Making sure to steady dunk it in the tomato bisque. Paired with some parm truffle fries and washed down with an old fashioned, I’m in heaven. Jenine took care of us like family. Don’t pass this place up.

A top notch après spot in Aspen Colorado. The view of the mountain from the upstairs patio can’t be beat - we even caught a beautiful sunset. Great service (S/O to Alex who was fantastic), food and drinks. They had lots of local brews on draft, including my favorite hazy IPA from Aspen Brewing Co. For food, we tried the Chip N’ Dip which came with guacamole and queso. The perfect snack after a day on the slopes. Highly recommend!

Had lunch at the Base Camp Bar & Grill in Snowmass Village, we missed this place during our last winter visit but were glad we stopped by this trip. Yes the food is a little on the expensive side for pub type cuisine but everything we had was very good. The service was great as well, we would definitely go back!

Food was ok but the service was pretty bad. We saw our waitress once, when she took our order. She never came back to ask how the food was or to ask if we needed anything, which would've been helpful because one of our orders was wrong. We eventually had to flag her down to get our check because otherwise I don't think she ever would've come back to our table.

I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant today, and I must say it was a wonderful experience. Jeremy was our server, and he was absolutely outstanding. From the moment we sat down, he made us feel welcomed and taken care of. His friendly and attentive service really enhanced our meal, and he went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. I truly recommend this place, not only because of the delicious food but also because of the incredible service. Jeremy’s professionalism and kindness made the experience even more memorable, and I’ll definitely be coming back again!
