Google
Lovely place to spend a rainy morning. All of the drinks on the menu looked delicious. I appreciate the 20 ounce “Yeti” sized beverages when you just want a really big cup of tea. My friend liked the salted butter latte so much she ordered two. I didn’t notice any gluten free food options.

Popped in here after returning from Lund and waiting in the ferry to head back to Comox. Great shop that totally had their look and feel dialed and love their branding. I was able to enjoy a snack made fresh and a great coffee with solid free wifi working on my laptop in a funky and cool atmosphere. If I’m in town waiting on the ferry again I will walk over here again for sure

Google
Super cute little coffee shop and cafe in downtown Powell River. Friendly staff and yummy food and coffee! I was satisfied with the vegan options. Loved the local art on the walls too. We will be back!

We enjoyed delicious paninis - the one with mushroom was was so tasty - sides of soups and took home a pack of thirty ginger cookies. Portions were filling . Great spot for a brunch, lunch or treats if ever in Powell River.

I love the selection of food and baked goods. The tofu scramble was delicious, and their coffee is just thing right way to start a day.

Google
Very friendly and helpful staff, cozy and relaxed atmosphere. I enjoyed a cup of hot, dark coffee sitting cross legged next to a bright window and listening to a barista answer the questions of a curious 7 year old customer from across the counter.👍😊 Provided almond milk for my coffee at no extra charge and had a great selection of magazines to enjoy.

Heard some amazing things about this shop, was excited to stop in and try it. The food and drinks were good but the service was unlike anything I have ever experienced. The lady serving us seemed as if we were inconveniencing her by our mere presence. I inquired about ice cream floats and instead of a simple no, I was made to feel like a toddler who was in trouble. My girlfriend picked up a punch card to admire the design and branding and it was quickly ripped from her hand. Very puzzling. Coffee was great though.

Google
Pleasant experience I had the Freda breakfast wrap. It was pretty tasty but lacking sauces and cheese.. coffee was delicious.. lots of healthy choices. They seemed under staffed but guests were very patient. Lots of seating indoors and outdoors on picnic tables. Main Street was loud and busy with cars at times so that was a bit annoying. Otherwise will return, yummy cafe!

Yelp
Love this place, their sandwiches are flavorful and yummy and the service is great too! I wish they opened earlier on the weekend so we could stop on our way to the ferry! Definitely worth checking out!

Yelp
Huge fan of their breakfast sandwiches! I've tried the home made sausage and the ham and Brie. That's my fav. I swear I could just eat the buns on it's own. The rosemary and sea salt on top or whatever it is it's the cherry. Hubby orders the aloha with eggs religiously. Never skews away for anything else. I realize I don't have any pictures cause we eat it before we remember to take them. I can't wait till their Diablo fish sandwiches are back. I've been patiently waiting.

Yelp
Killing time before the ferry so we thought we would go have a coffee and a snack. Wondered by this place. It didnt look like much but we went in and it was worth it. We had some baking and lattes so not a lot to review but it was lovely. The muffins were really tasty. And no complaints about the coffee. If in Powell River again looking for coffee, we would head straight here.

Yelp
Best cafe on the Sunshine Coast. Quality food offerings. Great coffee. Lots of seating (indoor and out), great people watching, lively buzz. Some food is pre-made, other dishes are made fresh in the open kitchen. Beautifully fresh vegetables, which is rare for a coffee shop. This is a modern cafe that has substance, culture, and vibe. I'll be back.

Yelp
Delicious breakfast sandwiches - but they sell out fast! Locals love this place, which is always a good sign. Chai was delicious too. LOUD barista calling out orders tho - don't sit near the pickup counter! ;-)

Yelp
Easily the best coffee shop on the Sunshine Coast and my favourite of unique BC atmosphere anywhere in the province. Walk in and run your fingers over the thick wooden benches and enjoy the metal work on the walls; it's a pleasure just sitting inside. Now, complete the experience with a cup of coffee and west coast style sandwhich, and relax.

Yelp
Visiting Boxwood Cottage with friends and needed to warm up during a rainy afternoon so went over to Base Camp for an Americano after my friends had been there that morning. Really nice staff, constant stream of people and I had to indulge in some kind of healthy version of a peanut butter square. Coffee was great and to top it off the barista grated cinnamon in my coffee for me! Couldn't resist buying a bag of their beans, specially roasted by 32 Lakes - which I ground last night so I don't wake up everyone in the house when I need my 5am first cup of coffee! Plan on going back for a breakfast - will keep you posted!

Yelp
The Base Camp is a small coffee shop with excellent snacks on the main road in Powell River. We stopped in on our way to Lund for a snack and coffee. We ordered a cappuccino and date bar with an espresso and mini quiche. It was all excellent but I must say it was a perfect cappuccino and espresso, better than the big city. Their barista was very talented! The furnishings are basic but very interesting in its design, I enjoyed the look and feel of the decor a great deal.

Yelp
Seriously, this place is just goodness. I had my usual Americano and damn it was tasty. Lots and lots of treats adorned the cabinet by the til. I think I gained 2 lbs just looking!!! I had one of the breakfast wraps and it was fresh, tasty, and filling. Followed by another Americano and I bought one of their cool tshirts. Great food, great space, super friendly staff. This place is a homerun by any standards. Go there!

Yelp
Be warned: Don't take credit cards, don't discount for US currency. Food was unusual but good. A "bowl" included small portion of home fried potatoes with salad on top and a small omelette on top. Tasty fresh ingredients. I can get over the $$ rip off. Would be ok at Canadian $ prices.

Yelp
Was so stoked to come across the Old Town and downtown locations when visiting Powell River. The sweet and delicious elixir of life (coffee), yummy and filling breakfast wrap, treats and a funky, uplifting, artsy atmosphere to chill and do computer work. Learned a lot about Big Foot and mountaineering from the barista at the Old Town location too! Highly recommend!!!

Yelp
Staff - Food - Sweets - Coffee - Bathroom....it's all awesome!! Local ingredients in a rustic style designed to fuel your adventures = yummmm!!! Panini, soups, breakfast boxes, locally roasted coffee, delish brownies, and a cool art focused atmosphere create this unique gem!!

Yelp
Great coffee, yummy pastries and a cozy setting (including Ravens Nest washroom) with good outdoor seating to enjoy the sun. It's a little further away from the ferry dock but we had a hour and easily walked there with our car holding our place in line, had our coffee & date square there and walked back and still had time for the view point.

Yelp
Good coffee and lots of love and care goes into every cup. A little on the weaker side for me. Good to see a little Bit of modern pacific north west in Powell river. Did not try the food but look Tasty but limited to standard cafe fare. It was the best coffee we found in Powell river. It's city prices.

Yelp
New in town and decided to try here for lunch. Not too impressed on value for what you get. $28 for my hubby & I to get sandwich (BLT with one strip of bacon) and literally one cup of salad.

Yelp
This was our first stop when we arrived and it was okay, so we made it our last stop before heading back to the U.S. We only had American dollars, which they gladly accepted; however, they did not give us the proper change, which is 30%! I'm pretty sure that's called stealing. Additionally, they charge $1.50 for a re-fill on black coffee. I'm pretty sure that's just greed. The chai latte I ordered was the worst tasting latte I have ever had! Yuck! The Freda wrap I got the first time was good, so I ordered it the second time, and it didn't taste anything like the first time. The service is very average.I do not recommend this tourist trap! I highly recommend going to the Cookery across the street instead.

Yelp
awesome atmosphere and delicious food right downtown! i also loved the chai latte because it was not that sweet, compared to many other coffee shops who serve really sugary ones. the muffins and veggie breakfast sandwich were to die for!

Yelp
I`ve been here several times and the food has always been excellent. The paninis are in fact amazing. I`ve had the Eldred, which is prosciutto with fig jam and goat cheese, and the mix of flavours was surprisingly harmonious. Who`d have thought to put that together! The Steelhead sandwich is my favorite, though. It has vodka-cured steelhead trout (updated: apparently Steelhead is now salmon? Who knew?) and well, who CARES what else it has, it`s fantastic for a fan of raw foods. In fact, everything here seems to have a raw component. The two quibbles I have are that the salad dressing could use more tang; it seems rather flat and needs some more vinegar or lemon juice. And I find the coffee a bit overpowering, but maybe that`s because I`m coming from a town where they thought Sanka was elegant.

Yelp
A little pricey, but overall a really neat place. You walk in and it's like "wow, this is different in a good way...' Oh, and they have some tasty coffee too. Peace

Yelp
Excellent coffee and homemade breakfast, debit and cash only. The breakfast bowl was fantastic! A little hipster if you're into that

Yelp
Just had a sandwich with brie and sliced meat for 6.50 with a Boylan's and they had every flavour.

Yelp
Great atmosphere. Coffee is average. Their breakfast sausage sandwich was yummy - lots of mayo in it. They also have interesting vegetarian dish - healthy but wasn't too keen on them.

Yelp
This is a little gem on Marine ave in Powell River. Great service, super funky vibe, like a little bit of 'city' in this small town. It seems to have become a favorite hangout for all types. I like that they have also been host to a few community minded gatherings.
