BASE Milano

It's an interactive and informative design week I have been to and mainly to the base Milano where I got to meet some amazing designer with some cool projects like Edition (where they used waste papers to create 3D sculptures) and literally I found answers most of the waste that is being created around us every day by being to such an informative design week. I would like someone to visit it next time when they conduct something like that.

I visited this place on July 2024 ordering some beers with a couple of friends. Overall I enjoyed the experience here. There are many table outside and a small terrace at the top of the building. The staff is warm and friendly. You can pay with your credit card every amount - this is a great innovation as this place does not basically accept cash. Well-done!

I love the space but the staff is really rude. Bought drinks and wanted to sit with my friend. There were people sitting on a table with a laptop and we couldn’t even sit with our payed drinks? ?? Also there was a girl working that was really rude. She ignored us and rolled her eyes. Guy who made our drinks was kind.

The staff of the restaurant is so rude. We bought a coffee and wanted to sit and study but were not allowed to sit in the restaurant. All the tables were empty. When asked why the girl was rude and then ignored us. The place itself is cool tho. Just don’t buy at the restaurant

Decent coffee, cool place. Just please don’t call yourself a coworking space with such abysmal WiFi

Excellent spot to work remotely. The WiFi was fast, plenty of outlets, indoor and outdoor locations and a bar and coffee shop and food on the premises!

It's a great place with many events! But the number of their English events are so limited unfortunately.

Base it’s a very vibrant space that offers everything from drinks, to talks, to coworking and commmunuty events. It’s the highlight of Porta Genova

Trash service. Issue with the bill (got charged for a whisky twice) waiter violently took the drinks we order away from out table when we tried to discuss it with him. Didn't try to remedy the situation and come to an understanding. Didn't serve us the rest of the night. Got charged for a drink I never received. Stay away.
