Nestled approximately 20 kilometers from the iconic North Cape, Nordkapp Caravanpark AS offers a serene and perfectly situated base in Skarsvåg, the world's northernmost fishing village. This campsite truly immerses you in the breathtaking Norwegian landscape, providing a tranquil escape right by the glistening Storvatnet lake. One of the major highlights is its unparalleled proximity to the start of the hiking trail to Kirkeporten (Church Gate), a natural rock formation that offers stunning views and photo opportunities. It’s an ideal spot for nature lovers and hikers eager to explore the dramatic coastal scenery. The facilities are well-thought-out, ensuring a comfortable stay. The main building houses clean and convenient showers, alongside a cozy cafeteria. This common area is a welcome alternative if you prefer not to dine in your camper, offering a warm space to relax and enjoy a meal. For campers, all essential amenities are readily available, making it a hassle-free experience. Overall, Nordkapp Caravanpark AS provides a peaceful and practical stop for those exploring the North Cape region, blending natural beauty with necessary comforts.

Lovely place, 2nd time we're here chasing the halibut fish, both times didn't disappoint. We stayed in the "penthouse" which has 2 bedrooms and a larger all in one kitchen, living room, dining room, with an amazing view of the harbour and ocean. The only downside to the building is that there are no curtains in the bedrooms and with midnight sun during the summer it's bright as day even at 3 AM. Would definitely come again, we're here for the fishing and this place has it all, whether you bring your own gear or not.

It needs urgent renovation, but also better maintenance. The doors handle are rusty and the door does not close completely / all the cabins are the same, from the discussions with the neighbors. The mattress was stained. Dirty, poorly maintained toilets, faulty lighting in the shower area, in both two days that we stayed there. Rusty electric cooker, dangerous to use. And of course as almost everywhere in Norway campings, bed linen is paid separately. But ...Close to Nordkapp. Parking in front of the cabin.

In Cod do we trust - it says outside the restaurant…in this restaurant do I trust for a gorgeous Cod. Well priced, good portion, served nicely hot and delicious as caught right there and then…not frozen fish…search all Norways west coast for a good Cod meal…and hidden behind Nordkapp point is this little gem. The house, deco and furnishings are simple and clean and the focus is on the great tasting food - right where it should be. Absolutely love it. Staff were pleasant and humble. A definite YES

Great spot to spend the night prior to, or after, your visit to the north cap (some 15 km away). Calm and with a nice view at a little lake. As the name suggests, it feels like a base camp before going up a mountain. All basic facilities available. A small restaurant with good local food is definitely a plus in this very remote area. 3 minutes’ walk from the world’s northernmost camp site you’ll also find Europe’s northernmost fishing village, which is nice too.

Service great, quick effective. Even though we arrived earlier they gave us the room keys. Very clean. Excellent location to visit nordkapp. Only negative comment is the shower held water on the floor. Thank you!

It’s was generally okay. There is nothing there, and you have to walk to the nearest restaurant. The owner advised us to go to ‘in cod we trust’ which was a good dinner, but there are only two in the town.
