We ordered the fish tacos and the bacon brie burger. Both of them 10 out of 10! The spinach and crab dip was an appetizer, and it did not disappoint. If cleanliness and outstanding service are also important, then you must come here. Diego was our server, and he was amazing. Try it!

Editing my 2 star review from 3 years ago. I have come to Basico for close to a decade. Unfortunately 3-4 years ago it went downhill fast. Lately, for the last year or so we have had nothing but the best experience thanks to Jorge. It is great to see they are making a comeback, and awesome to see how much impact 1 single motivated person can make. Hope to see him move up the ranks as he deserves. Will be returning more often.

We ordered potstickers for appetizer, the bacon and brie burger with Mac n cheese, and the Baja fish tacos. We had a good experience, enjoyed the food and plan to come during brunch hours. It is a smaller restaurant located inside a corner of the Coronado tower. Parking might be hard to find but is free. We had a latte after dinner and really enjoyed it. Everything was worth the try! Updated review: we went for breakfast! We ordered the migas (eggs on hasbrowns), chilaquiles, croissants, cappuccinos and lattes. The food was very filling but I would not order the croissants again, the butter was hard and the jam did not taste very good.

Google
It was a delicious lunch, very generous chicken portion, and veggies were at point served with a sauvory vinaigrette (on the side). The place was comfortable, very few people. Service was excellent, waitress very attentive and provided what we needed. Time to have food ready was reasonable.

Google
The food was cold, unseasoned and definitely not as expected. Ordered green chilaquiles at 12 noon and they were out of Chile verde and could only accommodate rojo, we were given a small discount for the inconvenience but I wish I would have changed my order instead. The sauce was unseasoned and didn’t have any taste, no spicy salt or any flavor at all. Specified fried egg several times and got a runny egg when my cold order came out. The tacos were okay but the tortillas were cold and the taco fell apart when picking it up, had to use a fork to eat the meat. They definitely need some new chefs or kitchen staff.

Google
It's small but good food and drinks. Def a nice little brunch spot. Server gave us complimentary coffees that were a nice pick me up, we had our toddlers with us so we appreciated that a lot.

Google
The fish and chips were delicious battered to perfection not too thick just crispy enough. Server with just the right amount of fries. The fish tacos were also good, but could've used more sauce. Overall a great place.

🍔🍕🌮🍉🍱🍖🍗🥓🥩🥯🥖🍝🍤 Local restaurant review from your local RESTAURANT FOOD MARKETER 🍗🥓🥩🥯🥖🍝🍤 Restaurant Review for Basico Bistro on Mesa, next to Taco Bell Atmosphere: The restaurant has great ambience, nice lounge music is always on which is great to have your meeting and enjoy your lunch. Btw they patio is also very cool now that the weather is getting warmer Food: Gotta tell you their appetizers are awesome, specially for the wings. We were just there for a meeting and had the classic Buffalo and BBQ, they were thick, juicy and tasty, they were bone in. Truffle fries are a must have. Also don’t forget Fish and Chips as your meal, they never fail and have great flavor! Services: Our waitress and the owner greeted us right when we got there. Service was just on point. Always helping with refills and checking often on our table. I highly recommend Basico, food is great and also for their cocktails!

Yelp
This is my favorite lunch spot! I hope my friends are reading this because this is where I want to go for my birthday lunch! This is a luxurious yet casual setting with a relaxing atmosphere. The burgers are the best in El Paso (according to me) and where else can you get grilled Artichokes as an appetizer or side? The tres leches dessert is something to write about all your itself! I have made fans of everyone I have brought here. If you need to de stress- grab a friend or a few and come here. Start with a nice glass of wine or Prosecco- they have a nice selection and enjoy the afternoon. For a casual business meeting, They have fantastic coffee and cappuccino- add the tres leches cake and you have a closed deal!

Yelp
The food was delicious! The service was great. I was pretty amazed at how good their iced vanilla latte tasted. The seating layout was very well planned out and the overall experience was great.

Yelp
This place is a very nice quaint place for lunch and HH. They have very good food options and great specials. The service, especially from George or Jorge is top-notch.

Yelp
OK we've been going there for a long time and I know they've expanded but today we were there and we were the only two people there. The bar had no vodka whatsoever. How can you run a bar with no vodka? The food was OK. I actually enjoyed the risotto with shrimp and my wife's fish tacos were good too, but it was clearly a restaurant that was on life-support, that's the best way I can sum it up nobody else was there? How can you stay open in that situation?

Yelp
Ok so sadly after my last visit here, things have gotten bad. The food is still delicious but the staff has a lot to improve I come here they take forever to even acknowledge me and they put on a bad face as if I'm being an annoyance like seriously I just want to eat. Apparently that's too much for me to ask so once I finally order they take a massive amount of time to bring it, I understand some dishes may take some time to cook and also that sometimes they have just one chef (which in my view should get fixed) but still at least make me feel like you're putting the effort, it's not the first time this happens to me and even though the food may be good the experience make it as for you to wonder if it's actually worth it to stop by and get this poor treatment vs the quality of the food

Yelp
The atmosphere is nice and the food was undercooked and pricey. The male waiter with black hair and black beard was very disrespectful. He greeted us and told my gf in Spanish you are pretty. That was very unprofessional and bit my tongue to not make a seen. Management needs to address this with this waiter.

Yelp
How does one mess up a scrambled egg? What used to be great food has now come up short of being a simple OK. Also, the side of pancakes and butter tasted as if it they had freeze burn. The only thing that was good, were the mimosas. I hope they up their game once again and get back to what it once was.

Yelp
Food is good but pricey. Be prepared for a long wait!! Music is good but a little too loud.

Yelp
Showed up at 1:30 on a Sunday to place a to-go order (there phone isn't working so i had to place it inside). They are severely under staffed, two workers for the whole restaurant minus the kitchen staff. Place was an absolute mess, dirty tables, dirty bar, and just dishes everywhere. I waited at the bar while my food was made and one customer from outside walked inside because it was taking them so long. The entire time i was there, there was food waiting to be delivered to tables and it never got touched in the 15-20mins i was there for my to go order. I ordered an omelette and it was the saddest one i think I've ever had. No taste, cheese, or even decent looking. Then there is $10 overpriced parfait No management from what i could tell was in sight. This place has the potential to be a really cute breakfast/brunch spot but it's just lacking a lot and i can tell it starts with management. I felt bad for the two servers there. Hope to see them turn it around.

Yelp
A bit overpriced, but a very good meal! I had fish and chips this afternoon and they were the best I've had in El Paso. It came with two large fried pieces of fish and an excellent dipping sauce. There was also a large side of fries that were thin cut and well seasoned. I can't speak for the other dishes here, but the fish and chips were great. Again, a little overpriced, but I'd give this spot another shot to try something else.

Yelp
Came here for dinner with a birthday group. The place had cute ambiance, but the food was underwhelming. Ambiance - Located inside of a hotel, it also has a a cute porch with fairly lights strung up. The inside is fairly small though, but it was cool to see the kitchen at work. Service - We had a huge party of around 20 people, so it was expected that service would be a bit slow. The waiter was very patient and friendly, but was inefficient when delivering checks. Food: - Margarita pizza - I split this with a friend and it was just the right amount of food. All the entrees were humongous and most people were unable to finish. The pizza itself was okay, nothing special. Pricing - Overall, it's a fairly expensive place unless you're splitting with somebody else. They do have some good happy hour deals on the weekend though. Overall, this place was nothing special and eating here once was enough.

Yelp
Felipe was a total badass. Ask for him he has great customer service and was super quick and efficient. All the other servers honestly were not that great. Felipe was on it.

Yelp
Went at 1 pm, there was hardly any people. Waitress took our drink order and appetizers; waited 45 minutes and did not even receive a glass of water. Do not recommend the service, we stood up and left.

Yelp
Voted Best Breakfast , that's what they have in the their website menu ... and sure it is. To start with the place is clean , beautiful decor, and excellent customer service. To start with we order the pastry tray (recommend it by our server), really good, comes with two croissants and one scone with butter and jelly. For breakfast I order the A lo Básico Omelette (I was undecided to order this omelette or the Chilaquiles) WOW what a combination of Roasted poblano and red bell pepper, simply Delicious and tasty... my wife order the Nutella nut waffles , she said it was excellent and very well serve, (see picture) it was a big and complete plate. Definitely will come back soon , congratulations you have a two Big Thumbs up !!!!!

Yelp
Showed up at the restaurant and I seated by myself waiting for the rest of my family to arrive. One of the waiters did not want to offer me his service as he was just looking over at me and refusing to at least offer me a glass of water. Until my family came in and sat down, that's when he at least finally acknowledged my presence. During our ordering, he proceeded to cough a lot like a lot. I asked him if he was okay and he stayed it was allergies. I call bullshit on his statement. He was being discriminatory and I knew that. I wish I was the one who was paying for the bill so that I wouldn't have to give that lousy guy of a waiter a tip. He got lucky.

Yelp
Service is just like the majority of El Paso. Expect nothing. I counted 8 tables full here and people are waiting 15-20 minutes for a server to acknowledge them. I was one of those people. I finally get to order and wait another 10 minutes for the server to tell me the food would be 45min to an hour. I understood being that they were soo "busy" with 8 tables. Another 10 min passed and the server comes to us and stated that the food we ordered is not available until 4 pm. Mind you I got here at 1150 and he stated breakfast was no longer served so I ordered lunch. It's 1255 now and I barley received my yogurt. Waiter seemed a bit lost. My first time and my last time here. Food is really good so far but service is absolutely trash.

Yelp
Absolutely wonderful food!! Husband had the Básico burger and Sweet Potato fries and I had the Mediterranean salad. The customer service was A+. Our waitress went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed everything that Básico has to offer (I'm diabetic). The Coconut tea made the meal! Highly recommend this eatery!

Yelp
Came on a Monday night for burger night! Simple basico burger is $5.95 while all the other burgers at $7.95. The burgers always come out really good. I love how they toast the buns and their chipotle mayo is awesome with any burger in my option Sweet potato fries are awesome. Also had a little sample of tortilla soup and it was very good! The service can definitely be slow. I've never had a meal come out quickly so make sure you have some time. I like the ambiance and the outdoor seating area is great. Side note: if you come for brunch, the pistachio French toast is a must-get. ITS SO GOOD.

Roxanne B.

Yelp
Place was without heat.. for entire place there were 2 space heaters.. waitstaff forgot to take our full order. She went to help 2 other tables before were got her attention. She took the order and came back stated they were out of wine and blonde ale. Final got our drink order and it was wrong. Dinner plates were big but burger wad over cooked and there potstickers came out cold. We had to ask for more water god forbid we're wanted another cocktail. This isn't a cheap place to eat either.p I will not visit this place again.

Yelp
We had not been here since COVID, everything we got was amazing! We had the poke bowl, tuna tostadas and fish and chips. This is one of those places that is very good but no one seems to notice.....
google avatar

Yelp
I ordered from this bistro today for the first and last time. I ordered a burger the bread was hard, meat over cooked and lettuce wilted. The brownie was hard and dry. Save your money and order from somewhere else.
google avatar

James T.

Yelp
Food is good. Had the buttered croissants to start and had the pistachio french toast. Both really good. Croissant was flaky and buttery, with strawberry jam. French toast is battered and dusted with powdered sugar and chopped pistachio sprinkled on top. Food here is really good, but service was super slow. I guess covid is affecting their staffing but also seemed like one of the girls was not good at her job, forgot who she was serving and would forget things that were asked for.

Yelp
Probably the worse brunch place I've eaten at in El Paso. The service is subpar and the food is mediocre. Terrible service - the server confused my friends order with mine. My friend doesn't eat pork and ended up eating my omelet that contained ham in it. Mediocre food - you can get better omelets with more filling at a chain restaurant. The egg was over cooked and was not as flavorful as I was hoping it to be. Potatoes are probably the worse I have ever eaten. They cut the potatoes so thin that their pretty much chips instead of actually diced. Ever been to such cheap establishment food If you are considering coming to this cafe, I'll recommend you to reconsider it because the food isn't worth it. The wait is terribly long for the food.

Yelp
I tried this place and wasn't impressed. The location was good and people cordial but food wasn't impressive. I showed up alone and noticed about 4 open tables and it wasn't too busy. I requested a table closer to window area but they said they it's for 4 people but again want busy, so instead sat me against a wall close to two other people which was odd. I could understand if it was rush hour but it wasn't. The food wasn't good nor was the presentation. I ordered an omelette with pancakes but couldn't eat the pancakes since it wasn't completely cooked. The waiter did ask if I would like another order but lost my taste for them. The omelette wasn't bad just plain. They should add potatoes without having to substitute them for pancakes and have the toast substitute for choice of pancakes for a small charge if patron wanted them. Also, shouldn't deny a table request when it's not busy bad call. Will not return

Yelp
Holy Swai! You have to try the beer battered fried white fish filets and truffle rosemary chips. I am the last person to recommend ordering seafood in El Paso, but these were incredibly tender, delicate, and fresh! Ask for extra lemons so you can spritz a bit of juice on every crispy yet fleshy bite. The tartar sauce is house made-- whipped, creamy, and tart. I am not usually a fan of truffle seasoning on fries, but, mixed with a sprinkle of rosemary, they were perfectly balanced and I devoured them within minutes. I have been here before and I always order the pistachio french toast. Challah bread is not what makes this dish unique; it's their ungreasy yet buttery version of it. Ordering french toast at IHOP or Denny's will guarantee you an oil drenched sponge of bread that leaves a trail on the plate. Basico creates a crunchy and fluffy toast with just the right amount of sweetness and oil. Unfortunately, inconsistency and steep prices are what drop the rating down to 3 stars. The French toast has been baked for different lengths and this changes the texture completely! Also, the three tiny slices of Challah (and many other menu items) don't come with any sides, so I find $13.50 for just that unreasonable. The inside of the restaurant is elegantly decorated, and, when the sun is out, it's definitely a picturesque brunch spot. However, Basico does not have other menu options that are nearly as delicious as the ones I love most (fish and chips), so beware that several items like the steak wrap are not as appealing as their descriptions lead you to believe. When you eat here, it seems you are paying more for the eating ambience than the food itself.
google avatar

Javier A.

Yelp
Really bad service, place looks dirty, I was waiting for a burger 45 minutes, Básico it's not anymore what it used to be.
google avatar

Christopher J.

Yelp
Bad, probably the worst customer service, waited 15 mins after they sat me down for me to get up and ask them to come and take my drink order. Another 10 mins for me to get a latte and water. With there only being 4 other tables with people. Wasn't packed at all. And I am probably going to have to wait half an hour for the food to come out... This is the first and last time I come here

Yelp
I say it like a gringa, basic-o; but it's [supposed to be] pronounced bah-si-co. I'm just telling you this so you don't look like a ignorant newb when you order the Basico Burger. Just looking out for #1, yo! I get it, the Coronado Tower itself is not aesthetically pleasing to the eye, but does every high rise need to be? And really Basico spurs your interest when you see lights and seating on the side of what would otherwise be an extremely plain building. I don't know who designed Basico, but they did a superb job making an extremely hip and welcoming joint. I was tasked with the dilemma of finding somewhere that was fresh, super good, and wouldn't give my friend Ben a second glance just because he was in unfitted blue jeans and a [faded] black tee (we're still working on his fashion choices). Somewhere among my 200+ bookmarks, Basico was hidden and popped up as my first option for eats. All hail, Yelp for showing me the path to deliciousness! GPS-ed the address and found ourselves in front of a brightly lit bistro on Mesa. Wood and metal. Wood and metal. Wood and metal. Did I stand under the metal light chandelier for a ridiculous amount of time snapping pictures on an iPhone for Instagram as other patrons stared at me uncomfortably? Yes. I've talked to my architecture major buddy, Adam, and it's seems like this is totally acceptable behavior for such an incredibly beautiful, yet simply designed establishment. I had a quick stare down with the fat cow behind the bar and took my seat (there's literally a picture of a fat cow behind the bar...I wasn't talking about the staff obvi). The menu encompasses quite a few different things like burgers and pasta, so not exactly American or Italian or any specific genre of food, other than good food. I settled on the Fettuccine Alfredo with Sun Dried Tomatoes. In all seriousness, yummmmm. The sauce is a bit thicker than what I typically expect, but the flavors are well balanced so I love it. And like so many places are doing nowadays, there are two options for fries: sweet potato or regular. I tried both cause I'm addicted to food. Both were fine, but my preference is definitely the Fries with Truffle Oil (even though truffle oil in anything is a total gimmick because the flavor it supposedly adds is almost undetectable). The meal was well prepared and I loved the ambiance so I'll be visiting frequently. I really want to go back for breakfast, brunch and lunch just to try everything they offer. If you see me at Basico (and because you made it through this whole review), drinks* are on me. *Drinks include water only.

Yelp
We love the Basico Bistro. We went there tonight for the first time for dinner, normally we just have breakfast or brunch there. Well, a couple of visits for lunch. I had the BasicoCobb Salad which was quite large with excellent ingredients. The bacon was cooked nice and crisp with a great flavor and the avocado was nice and ripe. I also had a bowl of the soup of the day, chicken and red pepper. I was surprised how good it was and how much chicken was in it. It truly was one of the best soups I have ever had. It was a Thursday night so the house specialty drinks were only $4. I had a mojhito and my wife a berry mojhito. They were very good. My wife's fish and chips was cooked perfectly with not too much breading on the fish. There were enough french fries for both of us. It was not very crowded and the service was excellent. We definitely will be back.

Esther C.

Yelp
Lousy service took one hour to serve 4 salads, chicken over cook None of what we want it to order was not available . never again.
google avatar

Valeria E.

Yelp
This place was horrible. I ordered a pizza and I'm sure they took it out of a frozen box and heated it up. It was absolutely disgusting. Absolutely terrible. I'll never come back here again.

Shana C.

Yelp
The location on Mesa was very unprofessional, the waiter was a young guy who we had to flag down multiple times just to get any service, he stayed on his phone behind the counter the whole time. If you ask for lemonade they give u a glass of ice water squeeze some ReaLemon in it and call it freshly squeezed lemonade. I got a Carmel Late and there was bugs in it, when I talked to the other waiter or manager he had the nerve to say "Oh that just got in there it didn't come with bugs buy I can take it off the check if you want". The place is trash

Yelp
Maybe I visited on an off day? I was expecting a great experience due to reviews by friends but Basico did not live up to the expectations. After the party that I was with ordered and waited for 25 mins we were told two of our orders were unavailable because they "were out since yesterday". Why weren't we told 25 mins prior when we were ordering? NO CLUE. Lonnnng wait time, food orders were delivered at different times, sourpuss face waitress, terrible coffee and alright food. I ordered the sesame salmon sandwich, which had no seasoning. One saving grace are the truffle fries, WOW! Basico should close up shop and open a truffle fry shack. Basico stayed true to their name, they are just plain basic. Food 3/10 Service 1/10

Yelp
When I want a burger I go to Basico Bristro Cafe. And on Mondays after 5pm that burger is only $5 bucks, how does it get any better than that?

Yelp
Called Eastside location to inquire about brunch menu and the person answering the phone was extremely rude (a women) proceeded to not answer my question put the phone down and speak in Spanish telling other employees to never have the phone on, on the weekend I don't know how you call this customer service and then proceed to cuss and complain in Spanish as if I didn't understand the language you call this a business?!?!? Further on put the phone down and when I tried calling back they disconnected the phone if that's service over the phone I can't imagine in person.

Yelp
I was staying in Hotel Indigo in El Paso, Texas and looking for a place to have a late breakfast when this place popped up. It was excellent. It was surprisingly beautiful inside, as evident as the picture and the food was picturesque and delicious. I got a vanilla latte that was both very pretty and very yummy. The waffles I received were beautifully plated and arranged artfully. They were also yummy. The vibe of the place was wonderful. Big windows so the light could flood in and make everything inviting. The waitress, who's name I don't remember, was super friendly and bubbly. Overall, would definitely recommend checking out this place.

Jessica H.

Yelp
Great food!!! Not very happy with the service. The waiters demeanor lacks customer services and he is very slow like he doesn't want to be there.. Our food took 45 minutes to come out and the kitchen looks like some kind of hangout for the whole family and cell phones of speaker. Not very professional. :(

Yelp
Horrible service. Our server greeted us with a disgusting dirty shirt. The bar tender brought my husbands drink in a shot glass and was upset when he asked him for a different glass. The server forgot to bring my coffee I didn't even get upset and ordered a regular mojito. She brought me a berry mojito and then was upset when I reminded her it was regular. Our appetizer sat on the counter for at least 20 minutes I had to ask her to get it for us. She had such a bad attitude I just asked for the check and left. This was by far the worst experience I've had in El Paso! I'm not really a fan of this place I had a horrible first experience. However, it was a great location for an event. Las Latinitas had a great turnout for their event. It almost made me want to return and try some of their food.

Yelp
Visited with a friend and we ordered some caffeinated drinks(Macchiato and regular coffee) and didn't get what was ordered(received a plain espresso and no milk for addition). The food took a very long time to be prepared about 40 mins for a simple order. We ordered their Fish and Chips, waffles and chicken. The fish was overdone and there was a lot of batter on the fish. It was very oily as well. The fries had decent flavor and are probably the best out of all we ordered. The waffles aren't fully cooked and the batter is wet and make a wobbly ball in the mouth. The waffles and the chicken had absolutely zero flavor to them. Wouldn't recommend the place to any friends.

Yelp
I stopped in to this location for lunch based on recommendations from a few people and I am glad I did. The atmosphere is... cozy but not in a bad way. The staff was very professional and the food was amazing. I had a steak sandwich that was very good and sweet potato fries that were seasoned perfectly. I can't wait to see what they do at the a loft hotel when they open their steakhouse concept.

Yelp
Cute little bistro like place. I went for brunch for the first time to which they had a decent menu selection. However, their service is still lacking which is similar to my last lunch visit. No one would have been able to sit at part of the bar because it was loaded with dirty dishes. It took 20 minutes to get a flat Diet Coke. They were supposedly changing a tank or something as to why it took so long. After about 10 mins, the waitress brought my husband a water and said it would be a while longer. But then it came out flat and weird tasting, not worth the wait. I got the berries and mascarpone pancakes which were very good. The pancakes were very fluffy and the generous amount of mascarpone on top was creamy. It came with a side of bacon which had good flavor but it was soggy. It had zero crispness to it. My husband got the steak pita, a side of Mac n cheese, and a side of pancakes because he was so hungry. The steak pita had a lot of good flavor but was kind of greasy. His pancakes were also fluffy. His Mac was very different but good, it had a lot of herbs in it. This place would be great if the servers would be friendlier and smile and genuinely care about the patrons.

Yelp
Cute brunch place, but sloppy service and management. My waitor was clearly new and possibly flustered because he was terrible. Although he was adorable to look at and also well-dressed, he flubbed basically every aspect of serving us, to include asking us to order immediately after handing us menus, almost spilling our drinks, did not bring cream/sugar for the coffee, did not know who ordered what, failure to refill coffee, ringing up our order incorrectly, and taking 20min to bring us the check (I timed it). Also they were out of pistacios for the pistacio french toast, which was the reason we came in the first place, I was so excited to try them. We did instead get the eggnog french toast which was light and amazing. Honestly, the food was very beautiful to look at, but could definitely have been better. The house migas were dry. All they would need to do is cut back on the tortilla strips and add some sort of sauce or even a bit of olive oil. The scrambled eggs on the migas were very flavorful. The berry and mascarpone pancakes were beautiful with delicious toppings, but the pancakes were bland and lacked a creamy texture. The eggs of the omelette needed salt or something else in the mix. I hope they get a manager who can make the small improvements they need to be a top-notch brunch restaurant. Especially to train up and monitor the wait staff, because our waitor seemed untrained and directionless. The ambiance is beautiful, the restaurant is clean, trendy, good use of space, bright, and honestly perfect for brunch. The food looks picture perfect, great presentation. Tighten up the staff and make some small changes to the food, and this will be a much more competitive and high quality restaurant that matches the presentation.

nyesha T.

Yelp
Came here a few times and every time the service has been worse and worse. They never check on the tables it takes over an hour to get eggs If there running at 50% capacity I can imagine how terrible it would be during a full open. The last 2 times they've been out of key things on there menu to include steak, salmon, chicken The staff aren't very friendly and don't like explaining things.

Yelp
This review is solely based on the food. The food is delicious! I thoroughly enjoyed the dishes my husband and I ordered. He had the fish and chips, and thus far they have been the best ones Ive had, scrumptious! The accompanying truffle fries are also fantastic! As for myself I had the chicken poblano burger, the burger was large! I wasnt able to finish it. In addition, if you are ordering to go, the majority of the entrees come with a side of fries such as the burgers- i wasn't aware of this, so I ordered extra side of truffle fries. The burger was delicious, the chicken tasted fantastic and the poblano peppers on the burger made the burger even better. As for their Mac and cheese, it was decent, expect kraft pasta noodles. Overall, the food was delicious! Will continue to order from here.

Yelp
What a cute little spot for brunch! My sister and I went today. She got the house migas and I ordered the berries and mascarpone pancakes. The pancakes were thick and fluffy. The fruit was fresh and the strawberries were huge! The pancakes came with two slices of bacon and some syrup, but the fruit and mascarpone were enough to compliment the pancakes. The migas were delicious but the tortilla strips were small and a little hard to grab with the fork. Adding avocado to the migas would have given them a little more moisture or an extra side of salsa or pico de gallo. The interior is clean and has a fun modern vibe.

Yelp
Atomosphere is pine wood planks and large metal wind chime looking things very trendy and fun. Food is really good love the Ahi tuna tostadas. Service is Slow! Two guys doing everything very inefficient. They need dedicated bartender. Owner should be out here helping these poor guys. Not getting drinks from bar for himself. Monday -Thursday specials are a great value and worth enduring the slow service. But if order off the specials it becomes not worth price.

Yelp
We got to basico and the waitress was pleasant. Ordered our meals at the same time as other customers. Maybe ten minutes later another customer came in. Fast forward we can't help but notice that both the other customers have not only gotten their food but were nearly finished. We decided to pick up the check and go else where. The coconut tea was good and their food is usually good. Just was not on par today.

Yelp
Really bad service, we waited for our food 1:30 hours, just to get chilaquiles, and the restaurant was with minimum people. It doesn't worth the cost.

Yelp
This place is awesome and a great little surprise. I had been wanting to check this place out and I was glad I made a lunch stop. I've been for breakfast and it's divine as well but I will dedicate this review to the Bacon burger they have here. It is one of the largest, most palate pleasing burger I have had in a loooong time. The burger is ridiculously huge and I could barely finish it. The burger is topped with an onion ring, bacon, cheese, and to be honest, words don't describe the pleasure you will get biting into this bad boy. It's juicy and flavorful and enough to split if you don't have a large appetite. The fries were phenomenal as well and consisted of truffle fries. They were crunchy and pleasantly flavorful with the truffles adding an unique flavor to what you would expect a fry to taste like. The atmosphere is another treat in itself and is a unique commercial minimalist style. You can see all the air ducts and original cement ceiling leading to an industrial feel but the original hanging art offsets the decor nicely and provides some eye candy while you wait for your meal. The service is a little sub par and sometimes when you walk in it can be awkward because you don't know if you should just sit down or wait to be seated. But don't let that make you turn away from going here. You can get an excellent meal, enjoy the atmosphere, and get a full belly all at a great local spot that is far from basic in flavor!
