BASICROOMS HOTEL

😊: Simple basic rooms was good place to stay. It offered the essential for our 3 night stay. Room and shared bathroom very clean. They would check the rooms daily. We stayed in the begging of June and it was not busy. Staff was always helpful and they gave us a guest card to use the city bus. There is a market nearby and some coffee shops. The train station is a 20 minute walk either east or west. Unfortunately the bus runs only until 19h30 during summer. But if you don't mind walk it's quite nice!. 😢: Everything was fine. Would have been interesting to have a fridge in the room to keep water cold. It was quite warm during our stay..

Love evening and morning spent here, above and beyond service for our lovely host, I’m not much of a breakfast person so I didn’t order any but our lovely host insisted we at least have a cup of tea and a juice, very motherly in the good way. Spectacular view from my window too!

😊: Well located, The 24 hrs bus pass, and the kind lady from frontdesk. 😢: There is no AC or fan in the room, it is advertised but there was a heat wave that make it difficult to sleep.

Really nice recepcionist. She always came to talk to me at breakfast. Room nice and big for one person. Really noise hotel next door because I had the windows opened but at 11 they shut up, finally. The location is not too close to the train station but since you get free card for public transportation it doesn’t matter. Both bus line goes every 30’ but they do it right one next to the other, so if you miss one, you have to wait 30’. Breakfast was good and good variety. I had single room with shared bathroom but I felt like I wasn’t share it with anybody because I didn’t cross with anybody. Bathroom clean. Shower separate from toilet

Arrived around midnight. The lady who runs the hotel was still working and welcomed us. The room was fairly basic but clean. The bathroom and shower was 15 feet from our door and very clean. Had not shared a shower and bath before but no problem there. The room had no air conditioning and it was very warm while there but the window swung wide open so really not that big of a deal. The breakfast was included and VERY good. Hotels are very expensive in Interlaken so for one night this hotel worked fine. More like a 3 1/2 star review. Would recommend for a short stay in Interlaken. Lady who runs the hotel is very nice.

Stayed there for 2 nights and as the name states, it is basic as it appears to be. The room, showers and toilet are clean. I had a room which has a comfortable bed, cupboard, tv, wash basin. The internet connection had been good while i was staying there. The bed was very comfortable to sleep although i can hear noises from other occupants who live at the other rooms nearby. It is around 10 minutes walk from Interlaken West. As most hotels in Interlaken are high, the price for the place I stayed here is reasonable compare to other accommodations.

We original booked two twin rooms through online agent but confirmed with double rooms. Dora the owner gave us an extra room and it's a lovely ensuite! The other two rooms were basic but it's okay in terms of price. Breakfast was good and well cooked red eggs, extra tea and juice in request, friendly staff. It's just the location is not perfect.
