Basílica de Nuestra Señora de Zapopan

Really beautiful Catholic Church in the middle of a really busy area. Inside the church, there is the main praying area and a section on each side so be sure to check out the entire church. The street is really busy, there are a lot of shops and restaurants around and local vendors right in front of the church.

An ok catholic church - many little vendors outside to buy small religious souvenirs, cash only. The church has an actual gift store next to the main sanctuary

Definitely worth a visit. A bunch of smaller stores surrounding the church and some restaurants leading up to it. I must see if you’re in Guadalajara short walk from the LRT.

I visited during the Sunday service and was disappointed by the modern advertisements inside the church, but the view from outside the building was amazing.

So beautiful so peaceful even though it was during the weekend I visited the place 3 times and mostly because it was the week of the celebration of the foundation of Zapopan city the food the music very colorful

Be ready for lots of people & be respectful of the many religious folks who are there to pay a promise.

Visited La Virgen De Zapopan! Beautiful cathedral with its plaza and garden square. Since I visited during Las Ferias de Octucbre, it was pretty busy. Lots of activities, dance food and pop up shops for souvenirs.

The church is just breathtaking!! The rusty architecture just shows the historic nature of the church. The plaza surrounding it is full of life! There are a lot of food and snack stands. Even the streets around the church have so much to explore. I always love coming to visit. Definitely a must stop if you're visiting the area!

Greates place ever to look for hope and redemption. The holy mother of God will allow you to vent and heal of your life issues !

A stunning historic basilica that's still a running Catholic Church. It's free to go inside to see it's gilded design. There's a small exhibit about its history and a religious store.

Beautiful basilica inside & out. Home to Our Lady of Zapopan. Major pilgrimage on the 12th of October. Thousands of dancers dance from Catedral de Guadalajara to this basilica, it's an amazing experience! Limited parking but there is a new underground structure across from the basilica below the plaza.
