Basilica Pizzería Café

It seems like a nice place; however, my experience was far from pleasant. I ordered the Dolce Vita dessert (COP $25,000), but they forgot my order even though the place wasn’t crowded. After waiting for half an hour, I called them to cancel it, but they ignored me and eventually brought out a thick, hard oblea with melted ice cream. It was supposed to be covered with Nutella, but they used a different chocolate cream instead. To top it off, it took them another 10 minutes to bring me the check, and by the time I left, I had about ten mosquito bites. The bottle of water costed COP $7000.

Everything we ordered was delicious! We were attended to quickly, our waitress made great recommendations for lunch and dessert, and our food came out quickly. Would recommend and come back next week are in Cartagena.

The staff was friendly and the location of the restaurant is very nice. There are many great artists performing nearby. It's really fun to watch them. We ordered a pizza salami and a pasta. The pizza was extremely greasy and was just cheese, dough, and salami. The pasta tasted very neutral, so it needed a lot of seasoning.

One word ... WOW!! The best pizza and Italian cuisine in Cartagena! Service was outstanding, ingredients were fresh, restaurant was clean and the bathrooms are normal size with almost all of the comforts from home. The best part was the view. Great for people watching. Our waiter was warm and friendly and I would highly recommended this eatery if your ever in Cartagena!

Service was speedy enough, pizza was okay to good but not memorable if I’m being honest. Also, while the team were very pleasant, it’s a bit irritating if one of their phone’s volume is turned up as they’re scrolling from video to video. Sorry — but if you demand a review I’ll be honest :)

If possible ask for Andres to be your server… great recommendations, great service and super friendly personality. Do yourself a favor… get both. If you find yourself between two, three or even four pizzas… just get them all, you won’t regret it. Amazing pizzas, great prices and a chill vibe is exactly what we needed on a beautiful weekday out in Cartagena. This will be a place I recommend to anyone who visits!

The place is located in a nice vibrant area, however, the downside is one is continuously bothered by local street vendors. Orders take a long time. Pizza Margherita had 0,00 tomatoes, did not taste fresh at all. The bills are not calculated right. Overall, the experience isn't worth neither time nor money.

The pizza is very tasty, and the service is excellent. The lemonade was also refreshing and very flavorful. The location is great, and there's a small square in front where some events take place.
