My wife and I and two of our dear friends went to Concord Mills to walk around . We entered through Bass Pro Shops and went straight way to the aquarium with the fresh water fish in them . It’s always a treat to go and look at the fish ! They have all kinds of clothes , food and everything for your outdoor entertainment! We always have an enjoyable time there . Wayne

This place is huge and it is so nice inside. This is my first time in a store like this, and it looks like anything you could possibly be looking for the outdoors is in this place. We walked around for about an hour, looking at everything we could take in. The decorations are as nice, if not nicer, thank the products they are selling. They have some of the largest fish in their tank that I've ever seen up close. This place is amazing, and it is overwhelming how much stiff they have here. If they don't have what tour looking. You probably won't need it. I have never seen so many guns and fishing poles in one store before.

The store needs a refresh and definitely more help on the sales floor (or at least get the associates to stop chatting with each other). It took me a good 10 minutes to get a simple question about a price on a product answered. As I walked through the store I did see more help but every associate was chatting with another associate. I will say the cashier was very pleasant and a manager was called over for a competitive price override which was an extremely smooth interaction. He did match an online price without hesitation. I never recall having an issue with help in the store before so I will chalk it up to poor leadership monitoring the staff on the floor.

This place is my home away from home. I live in florida but i always come here with my grandparents when im in NC. The selection is endless, and they have everything that has to do with the outdoors. Name brand objects, except with the best prices around. Hunting, fishing, shooting, camping, trapping, and more! Bass Pro can equip you with anything you need in the outdoors. I can and have spent hours just walking around the store, soaking in the experience. Its a huge store with an amazing selection, so you might not find everything you need, EXCEPT all the employees will readily drop what they are doing and help you find your way around. Bass Pro makes sure their employees have an extensive knowledge of the ends and outs of the whole store. I just love this place, and highly recommend visiting! You wont be disappointed. The store is beautifully decorated, and the fish tank and big game hanging on the walls add to the vibe also check out their black Friday sales this weekend!!!

We bought a brand new boat this past weekend from this store. Jill Shelnut did an excellent job with us. She is amazing at what she does. This store has a gem having her on their team. Rick Burleson was very helpful and patient with us. They were both very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. We made 2 trips down here from Hendersonville, NC to purchase our boat. The sales team did an outstanding job. Thank you Jill and Rick. They earned the 5 stars and plus for us! Unfortunately, the service team was unhelpful and unprofessional. This department needs some serious work.

Google
Went to Bass pro shops to get fishing poles for the kids and me for the lake. The guy in the fishing section was awesome. Helped me with recommendations on poles and even installed the fishing line for me on the one that didn’t come with it. If you are in the concord, nc area they really know there stuff and are super helpful.

Always enjoy an outing to Bass Pro. Went with my son and we always find something there. This one is very clean and bright. Attached to the shopping center so Mom can do some other shopping if I choose. Great experience always

Thank you Troy, for making our visit extra special yesterday!! We are members of the Bass Pro Shops Club thanks to you, and very proud of it. We loved the store.

Yelp
Normally I would give Bass Pro Shop five stars so I'll start out why this one got four. There are two reasons. First, the store was dimly lit. There seemed to be a lot of lights turned off so it was not very inviting to shop. It was hard to see things, and it felt like it was time to go home even though it was early evening. Second, their animals/fish were blocked off with a tarp. I do not know if they are doing work, or if they are removing them, or what. Had they posted some type of sign it would have been nice. Now, on with the good. If you have never been to a Bass Pro Shop, they have anything you could want except maybe some very specialized items. For example, I do reloading, and there are only two calibers of bullets that I cannot get here, for example, And those are not common (338 Lapua and 375 H&H). But, that's why there are tons of specialty shops for stuff (such as the brass for things like that). PRO TIP: If you find the stairs near the shoes in the back, go up them for bows and related equipment. They are easy to miss. The prices are decent, and you can find a good range on most things, from budget to bada$$. Again, I am not including specialty stores that concentrate on one thing, that's not a fair comparison. So, if you have never been to a Bass Pro Shop, go to one. This one is a bit dark, so try to find one that is better lit, and has the fish. Great place for kids of all ages, too!

Yelp
This might just be my husbands favorite spot. Ever. I swear he could spend hours in here just looking. I was a little disappointed that the fish weren't in the tank and I just hope they're safe. I do love the detail that went into the decoration of bass pro.

Yelp
I enjoy strolling through Bass Pro Shop, appreciating all the goodies they have. Normally, store employees will leave you alone to browse undisturbed unless you appear lost or confused. In general, they allow you to enjoy the store without interference. However, I was unpleasantly surprised at this particular store when we encountered not one, not two, but three separate employees attempting to get us to sign up for a Bass Pro Shop card. One of them even used the cheap sales tactic of handing us the card and walking away, trying to get us "signed up" without consent. We followed and returned it, setting it on the counter because he wouldn't take it back. This made the whole shopping experience rather irritating, and we decided to leave. Despite the store's usual array of products (snacks, clothes, gear, and other trinkets), none of it held much interest after the unpleasant encounter with the staff. I'm not sure what type of sales incentive program management is using to drive their employees to bother customers to this extreme, but it's a poor strategy that will likely make customers, like us, irritated and inclined to leave.

Yelp
I go to this location annually to get my free pic with Santa because I'm such a big kid lol. Staff is always friendly and of course the big man himself is awesome. The place is huge and right at the mall so definitely can make a full day out of it.

Yelp
My current issue- The boat didn't arrive detailed as promised the day we purchased. It looks as though there are what to be yellow pollen stains along every seat that does not wipe off, I have attached pictures. After the purchase It seemed to be parked uncovered under some trees. There were also pine needles throughout the inside storage areas as well. We received a sealed white bucket with some cleaning supplies that included Platinum Protection items the day of delivery. I've tried and none of those items will take off the yellow on our seats. I WILL BE LIVID IF I HAVE TO PAY THE $100 deductible!! I know the Protection plan was purchased but we received zero paperwork. I found a # 9153197 on some other documents that I entered and filed a claim on the ECP website this morning. (I plan to debate the $100 deductible when the time comes) -*update. Cleaner was sent out and had to pay $100 deductible. The issue that was solved yesterday was the Garmin we purchased was installed incorrectly and had the wrong internal attachment wire...It didn't power up. I called the service department and practically received an interrogation from Mark about if I held the power button down correctly. We ended up taking the Garmin unit to the dealer and it worked as soon as Eddie plugged it into his demo cords. Eddie then sent us to the manager Brad Rice who allowed us to leave with the correct installation cord at no charge for my husband to repair. FYI-we don't recall an apology. I have purchased a brand new Suntracker in the past, but this was my husbands' first ever new boat. The fact that he has already had to spend ANY time repairing/re-wiring and cleaning on it not only makes me sad but slightly angry at the remainder of our transaction.

Yelp
One word . Disregard . It was like I wasn't even there . No friendly can I help you or nothing . Rude

Dustin M.

Yelp
You just can't go wrong with Bass Pro. If they don't have it, chances are you don't need it. Very clean and well organized store. Friendly staff. Fair prices. Huge selection.

Ernest D.

Yelp
The store and staff is usually friendly and professional. This review is for their photo with Santa. We received an email advertising this year's photo with Santa and made a 3:15 pm appointment. We got there early and Santa's helpers said they'd begin taking photos at 3:00 pm. They checked us in and asked us to wait in line. 3:15 pm came and went and there was still no Santa. We asked the helpers when he was expected and they said they'd begin taking didn't know. They told us there was a miscommunication and that it would be "at least" another 15 minutes before he arrived. Imagine a line of about thirty toddlers and small children waiting for Santa. We finally just left before getting our photo. Really disappointing (for all concerned but especially little ones waiting for Santa).

Jennifer T.

Yelp
Clean store but huge haha. Which is not bad but you may need help finding what you are looking for but there are plenty of workers around to assist. We were looking for a specific item; which they had the backpacks in stock but not one that fit our needs. If you have kids keep an eye out for them lol. If you are looking for anything outdoors, camping, boats etc it's very likely they have it here. Worth a look!

Sam W.

Yelp
Fun place to take the kids. They love the exotic animals and the huge fish tank. They also have boats and atvs for them to sit on. I don't know if I would ever buy anything there as it's crazy expensive and not really my scene but I'm glad they are there. It's fun to visit Santa during the holidays as well.

Bill W.

Yelp
Not a real outdoorsman but the Grandkids when they visit love to fish and the Granddaughters in PA love Cameo Garments. I'm not really the outdoors type but others in the Family are so I end up here. Grandsons from Atlanta when they come up, love to fish Lake Norman and I've bought their first Rod and Reels here. I have bought a number of fishing hooks, lines, floats, weights etc here to accompany what they needed plus I will admit going out with a guide with out of town guests with some things from here. My wife's Granddaughter in PA are into hunting and each has bagged a buck since they were old enough to hunt at age 6. We have bought them Cameo accessories but not for hunting. I can remember buying a Cameo onesee sleeper for at least on of them On other occasions for personal use, I have bought at least two smokers from here that were put to great use particularly in the summer months when I would smoke a Boston Butt. Big but don't be intimidated or overwhelming. Odds are you will eventully find what you are looking for

Mark L.

Yelp
It's huge. I mean huge. I mean more fishing pole than on the East Coast Huge. Honestly, I was impressed before I even walked inside. Just outside the entrance to the store in the mall was an old beat up dirt track race car of Dale Earnhart with the Pro Bass Logo and rust all over. That was super cool. After we entered through the turnstiles, we were blown away from Yeti coolers to beef jerkey to ammunition. There was even a giant fish tank and man made mountain in the back drop. This store has everything you need from clothing to boats to equipment. The staff was a little aggressive. But some would argue helpful. Also, with such an amazing selection, finding just what you need can become a daunting task.

Barbi F.

Yelp
We were told we would get the points for our boat purchase on our loyalty card. That was a lie, according to the manager that is never done, but the employees nor the manger of the store portion knew this. We spent weeks visiting, calling, all the while different managers were always going to "Call us back". The only one who did, finally was the Tracker Manager who basically told us too bad they said that, they don't do it. Also, we bought the extended warranty that covered the paint, and all the interior cushions, regardless of the damage. When I brought up the damage that was hidden under the edge of the seat and concealed by a removable platform, he said it wasn't covered once it left the delivery lot. Well I looked it up and my husband called as a shopper with the question and found out it WAS covered. My husband is still waiting on the Tracker Manager to call him back and it's been months. I would NEVER buy anything here again and in fact, my husband will be cancelling his account and cutting his loyalty after years of being a customer since we got this treatment.

Yelp
Great Location for all your hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, and outdoor needs! Huge store with amazing outdoor decor! Staff is friendly and helpful selection is great. Prices are a bit high is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5!

Daniel P.

Yelp
Was down in Concord for other reasons and stepped into Bass looking for anti-mosquito stuff and something else but the place is so big that I forgot what the other thing was when I found the bug-neutralizer. On the way I passed enough boats and motors and fishing poles and tackle and tech to fill two places with just that. Also went through two whole clothing stores: outdoors and hunting; a camping store, a one-stop backyard-grill shop, maybe a hiking thing, and I really couldn't tell you what else... oh yeah, they got a big fish tank here. funny thing is that only three people ever bothered to say a word; one was the cashier, one was trying to sell me a time-share, and the other came up while I was deciding on a bug repeller... Seems an odd way to run a business but apparently it's working for them.

Edward J.

Yelp
What a dream place for the outdoors man. This store is huge and has a little of everything to offer your favorite outdoors person. As a fan of Black Rifle Coffee it was great to find a variety of coffee and apparel available here.

Alexandra E.

Yelp
Normally Bass Pro is friendly and has great customer service. I just called (before we drive 45 minutes) to ask a question about hunting and fishing licenses. Instead of helping the lady who answered the phone was very rude. I understand customer service is backed up right now, so when I asked to be placed on a hold she said no, she's to busy for that and I would be sitting there to long. I said I don't mind waiting we just don't want to drive that far if it's pointless and she said "I don't mean to be rude but I'm not placing you on hold we are to busy for this with lines right now". so of course I told her "then don't be rude, that's a choice- I'd like to be placed on hold". And she hung up. I should just drive the 45 minutes, stand in these LONG line she said is there and then ask my question. No thanks.

Yelp
A few hours after arriving in Charlotte (to visit in laws) I went to this store to do a little shopping and to get out of doing any food preparation. It was the day before Thanksgiving. I really dont like shopping but I enjoy being around guns and rednecks. There's just something about the smell. After I pushed my way through the turnstiles, I decided to do my recon in a counter clockwise direction. Immediately, I was stimulated. It felt like an adult Chuck e Cheese. There were kids playing arcade type shooting games and kids taking photos with Santa. It was a typical Santa. I thought he should have been in camo. My eye was then drawn to a camouflaged electric mountain bicycle. It was very cool. Next, I passed through the kid toy section. I was particularly impressed with the toy gun section. Next to the kid section was a large camping section complete with all types of gear including survival gear. The grilling area was impressive. I felt a little guilt as I am not a griller. I have nothing against it, I am just too lazy to grill. There was an aisle dedicated to game preparation. There was a wide selection of meat grinders. I also saw some collagen membranes. I guess those are used to make sausage. I still don't want to watch that process. As I continued to work the perimeter, I came upon a restaurant. It smelled good and it was clean. I considered dining but it was only 11:00AM. I made my way past the fly fishing room, the archery area and past the sunglasses. The gun area was impressive. Handguns, shotguns, rifles, ammo, and safes. There was also a classroom. A class was in session, hopefully a concealed weapon class. I was acosted by a salesman that tried to sell me a Bass Pro Shop promotional credit card. The application had his name on it. I think there was a healthy commission attached to it as he was too interested in my enrolling. Sort of like flight attendants trying to get you to sign up for a new credit card at 30,000 feet. At this point I was overwhelmed. When this happens, I have to pee. I regrouped, took a few deep breaths and moved into the clothing section. There was a vast section of many outdoor clothing brands. I grabbed a few shirts. I thought about trying them on and was quickly ashamed of myself. I purchased a few fishing Items for my Dad and grabbed a few scarfs for my family. I checked out and made my way back to the inlaws. All in all it was a good experience. I will return today or tomorrow to return the jeans. Apparently I did not realize that I purchased Mom jeans. When I tried them on for my family, they threw an ugly Christmas sweater at me, quickly tied an apron around my waist and encouraged me to go downtown to help at the soup kitchen. Hopefully the return will go smoothly.

Yelp
Next month, I'll be crossing off the 49th state to enter the Union. Alaska, doncha know? And because my friends are planning on taking me to see the Northern Lights, it's gonna be seriously cold. Like 20 below if I'm lucky. So I need gear. Where else to go but Bass Pro for their huge selection and reasonable prices? I managed to find some inexpensive boots and socks that will keep my feet warm, a good hat to keep my head and face toasty, and a few other odds and ends that should be good for the Arctic weather I am expecting. Bass Pro also has tons of other goodies, like hunting and fishing equipment, camping gear, exercise wear and of course, everyone's looking for their Duck Dynasty goodies. Here's the place for all of it and more. Need an ATV or an outboard motor? How's about a kayak or a tent? Yep, Bass Pro has it.

Juan H.

Yelp
I normally have good experience at Bass Pro and would give good review but this time I felt like I would not come back. I asked for help from a guy named Patrick near the mall and he asked me to repeat myself multiple times because he could not understand me. I was speaking English as best as I could. When I told him I was ok and walked away I heard him laughing at me and making fun of me for saying the words wrong. He repeated my words and I heard him say I was dumb so he knew what I had mean to say. He was very rude and I was not happy after I left that day. I felt like he was picking on me. Everyone else was ok. I visited last week and left a review with receipt but want to post here because I did not get a response.

Brian S.

Yelp
Great friendly helpful place customer service was amazing. I will definitely be back and your fish tanks are insane

Michelle H.

Yelp
Always worth the trip down to Charlotte! We can spend hours walking and shopping around the store. I can shop for clothes or gifts, my husband shops for hunting, fishung, and boating supplies. They have a good selection of clothes for me and women, nice clothes too. I have gotten complimented on several items I wear, people can't believe it comes from Bass Pro. They have a small concession counter so you can grab a drink or a snack. The kids love looking at the huge fish aquarium. We always grab a few bags of candy before we leave. Never met a rude associate either, they are friendly and helpful.

Ben Y.

Yelp
Hours on mall doors state the store opens at 0900 however the mall entrance was not open but yet people were walking all around inside. Mall entrances was open and people walking all throughout the mall and some stores were open. If the store is open all entrances should be open, not just outside entrances.

Gregory H.

Yelp
Excellent place to just visit with the wife and daughter. The aquarium seems to be the main attraction, here, but the shooting gallery takes a close second. While I'm at it, If I want camping gear, it's here. If I want hunting gear, it's here. If I want warm outdoor clothing, it's here... boating/fishing gear, it's here... knick knacks and paddywhacks, spices, gifts, games, even cooking utensils, jewelry and brains (meaning knowledgeable staff). Anytime I'm in the area with my family, i just have to stop here to get a fix...

Dez C.

Yelp
My sister and her boyfriend were visiting from Scottsdale and I felt this would be a great mall to take them too. It's massive and has a ton of different stores. My sisters boyfriend is a major fan of this store. He was the one who wanted to stop in. This location is massive! I do love the high ceiling and all of the displays they are laid out for you to see. The display of the animals are my favorite. There were a few articles of clothing that he found in the BPS paper and we were on a hunt to locate them. After attempting to search for ourselves, we failed to find the items he wanted. So the next logical step would be to look for an employee. No one is ever around when you need them. I have learned that over time. When you don't need help, there are plenty of employees walking around asking if you need assistance. When you NEED something, they disappear. Finally after walking around trying to find someone on the floor we got ahold of someone. They had no idea where the items were that we wanted so he called for someone else. (I couldn't read his name tag so I don't have his name. All I remember is that he was young). Someone else came to help and they were perfect. We got all the items he wanted and went straight to check out... Check out was where most of the issues were. There were 3 lanes open... none seemed to be moving. 8 people in each line... so we had a long way to go either way. I guess we picked the wrong line. The young man checking us out was very unprofessional. (When I say young, I'm talking like... high school or even early college... if that!) there was this older gentleman in front of us... he was very patient and had no problem with the line moving this slow. As he got up to check out... he asked the young man how he was doing and the boy responded "it doesn't matter". He failed to make eye contact with most of the customers checking out. The older man just stopped talking to him since he was being quite disrespectful. We get up to check out and he didn't say hi or take notice of us. He just scanned our items. My sister said "rough day"? And he just rolled his eyes and said "sure. I'm sick. Work sucks". I couldn't believe his attitude. He should be happy to have a job. Suck it up. Your sick... go home. Or walk it off. I was sickened by his attitude. I would be embarrassed if my staff treated customers with such disrespect. I own my own business and my husband owns his... this kind of attitude wouldn't fly with us. I have this young mans name... and have dealt with this accordingly. He definitely needs more training or he needs to be let go. I may or may not come back. There are other locations to go to. I just like this one cuz it's in the mall. This store would do well if check out was more efficient and the employees wanted to do their job the right way.

Darlene L.

Yelp
Charles in the fly shop is amazing!!! He help with questions about a beginner fly fisherman needs, wants and necessaries. He took time to explain every option including their pros and cons. What is needed for different seasons. How to practice before, what to do when you get to the water and what to do when headed out. We will definitely be back to see him in the future. If anyone has any questions about fly fishing go ask for Charles!!

Aimee C.

Yelp
Surprisingly really good broccoli cheddar soup!!! It was a delight to find! They also have a variety of other foods, a little sitting area, and checkers playing tables. The store is huge! Really nice! You can practically find anything outdoors gear-wise here. It would be a nice store to bring the kids! They have stuffed real animals all over, a good representation of the real one, and a live fish aquarium.

Jonathan B.

Yelp
Bass Pro Shop is, quite frankly, an endless store packed to the brim with all things outdoors. I can never see it all in one trip and similarly can't fit it all into one detailed review on Yelp. BPS has hand guns, long guns, ammunition, bows, arrows, camo gear, North Face and other hiking/camping gear, clothes, shoes, kayaks, canoes, ATVs, motor boats, waverunners, candies/food, toys, fishing poles, lures, tree stands, storage, safes, and on and on and on. Out of all of that I like most of it. Fishing is a bit too slow for me though I enjoy it a few times out of the year. ATVs and boats are too pricey for me but I love kayaking. Camping and hiking are two pastimes I can't get enough of most of the time and BPS has everything you could possibly need for it. You can practically camp in relative luxury with what they've got to offer here. I'm also a huge fan of traditional long or recurve bow archery. They have lots of gear hear for anybody from the most avid compound bow hunters to the pacifist traditionalists. They have all kinds of bows, arrows and a plethora of neat accessories which will make you think "wow, I didn't need that until just now!" Probably the thing they have the most of would have to be clothes. It's impressive and surprising to say the least but they've got enough clothes for you to stuff your wardrobe and literally say "I've gone country!"

Tom D.

Yelp
It looks big and exciting, but it really isn't once you finally figure out where the entrance is! The folks inside were about as useful as tits on a bull and I wasn't really impressed with anything inside. The prices were high, it seemed more scattered and disorganized then other locations and the nice things that are normally what set this place apart were not even working and it seemed as though management really didn't care! Sometimes big and fancy on the outside means crap on the inside. I would not waste my time going back. However, if you need something sporty - mostly hunting and fishing - this is your place and thus the ONLY reason it gets 3 stars! Plus the fish in the tanks are fun to watch and kids will get a kick out of some of the stuffed animals!

Maggie V.

Yelp
Not a fan of hunting or fishing. They have feelings too. Don't kill our animals please. But the store is amaizing. I love all the boating and rafting section. The staff is so friendly. It's a great place to shop for sport clothes. It like a giant park. Even with fake trees. I always drop by and be amazed l.

Joel F.

Yelp
I've been shopping at Bass Pro Shop for years, but my experience at the Concord location this morning was bad. I went in with the intention of buying some fishing tackle and a pair of boots. The moment I walked in the door, the greeter immediately started pitching me on getting a credit card. I politely informed her I wasn't interested, but she kept pestering me. I walked away pissed off. I had about $50 worth of tackle in my cart and was heading toward the boots when another associate came up on me from behind, giving me the same pitch. Bass Pro Shop doesn't consider me a valuable customer. I'm just a rube, a hayseed they think they can ramrod with a hard pitch into a credit card application.

Melissa M.

Yelp
Definitely wouldn't recommend going in here if you are female and looking at guns. We got ignored by every single member behind the counter. They looked at us, then looked away. We tried on several occasions to get someone to pay us any attention, and not one person did. It was even the same in the footwear department. I'll continue taking my business to Cabelas where they don't judge based on gender. What's even worse is this was the second visit in which this occurred. I figured I would give them a second chance, but that will be the last time I step foot in there.

Gary H.

Yelp
I love the large selection and variety that Bass Pro Shop has at their store. The only major problem is they are on the more expensive side. When we stopped in the other day, I looked at the pricing on firearms, and they were several hundred dollars more than what I can by from a local gun store.

Shawn C.

Yelp
my husband could get lost in here for days! my daughter was in love with a particular gun! and we found several items for Father's Day!

Clyde C.

Yelp
I'm not going to name names, because everyone deserves to do their job and pay their bills and maybe I got the wrong idea, but staring at an adult customer from 5ft who's just looking at stuff isn't a good way to get them to spend money with you.

Amber M.

Yelp
Redneck's Heaven! Easy Returns and super knowledgeable staff. Ok, every once in awhile you get a dud but just move on to the next one. I will say that I wouldn't buy a gun here. Their prices are pretty high and you can easily do better at a show or with a dealer. I love being able to shop online and then go to the store and grab what I need. One thing I super love at this Bass Pro is the Archery shop. I know all the employees from my dealings over the years. They are super nice and will cut your arrows, adjust your bow, give you tips on products. There is also a range downstairs that's pretty decent and people don't bother you. Also, you can take outdoors classes here in the upstairs classroom. I have taken a few certification courses without any complaints. I love that you can bring your equipment in and have it looked over and tuned before the season starts.

Jen G.

Yelp
Oh good lord I've fallen into good ole boy redneck heaven and I can't get out! If you can hunt it, shoot it, catch it, eat it or stuff it and that doesn't make you say, "Awww, poor (insert name of critter here)" then THIS is your store. Before moving east I'd never seen or even heard of Bass Pro Shops and even though I don't believe in hunting I have to say, this place is pretty impressive. I've been here for gifts and they have it all. Really. ALL. If they don't have it, they'll get it. Even better, the staff knows their stuff. Prices run from affordable to "Holy crap! Do people really pay that much just to fish?????" (Ya, they do and after my first catch/release fly fishing excursion, I sorta see why.) Not only is this store good shopping but it is awesome for kids. It's like backwoods Disneyland. The huge, and I mean MONSTROUS, aquarium is stocked w/an impressive variety of fish, including one catfish that could easily swallow my toddler. Kids can spend hours here looking at the fish, exploring the aisles and trying the shooting gallery. It really is kinda a win/win for couples/kids. Mom can shop (cause really, we can find something to buy *anywhere*), dad can shoot guns & feel like a manly hunter/provider and the kids are amused. Even better, exit into the mall and go left for ice cream or right for chocolate. Score!

Yelp
Got a hand gun here last Thursday and was helped out by a gentlemen named Ryan. He did a great job made the process simple and easy I will definitely be coming back here. Lots of selections and many informative people working.

Yelp
One of the assistant managers was awesome! He gave a lot of great tips! If you want some excellent service in the fishing department go ask for Reggie! He is by far the most courteous and knowledgeable of anyone working there in that department! This man deserves a raise!

Yelp
Recently visited this store. The store is nicely set up decorations and stuffed wildlife looks excellent. This store gets 4 stars off because of the pushy vacation package sales people. So as you walk through the store and reach the middle main walk way, they have a counter set up where several sales people are standing pitching a $199 vacation package. The problem is these sales people are tremendously pushy and do not take no as an answer. They block the stores main walkway and start the pitch as you walk by when I said no, not interested they continue to attempt to throw more incentives in. I was trying not to be overly rude I explained I was not in the market for a vacation package and am not interested for the fourth time the woman sales person kept pushing. Ultimately I had to make the uncomfortable decision to walk away from the lady while she was still talking looking her right in the face telling her I'm not interested she disregarded that and kept going so I simply walked out of the store while she was mid sentence. Outdoor world this is a very ridiculous and uncomfortable situation you put your customers through we come to buy camping fishing hunting gear and while we spend our money in your store you sick high pressure vacation sales people on us. I will never visit a Outdoor World ever again and I am not one to just say that I completely follow through. I cannot believe that Outdoor world has sunk to these levels to make money. Btw I was there looking to purchase a pontoon boat so you guys missed the over $20,000.00 sale to push your $199.00 vacation package on me. Take a few mins to figure out if that makes any business profit sense.

Yelp
They have way more fishing stuff here than the Manteca store. The Manteca store still has a great selection but they have more here. I found Salt Life and Guy Harvey shirts here which I wanted really bad. Definitely better than the Manteca, CA store!

Yelp
I've never seen anything like this! A knife collectors dream, a fishermans dream, a hunters dream, an outdoorsmans dream. Out west you had to go to 5 stores to see all this!

Yelp
This Bass Pro Shops has it all. The staff are all very friendly and available to answer your questions. There was never more than a minute that an employee was asking i f i needed any help. i found the selection was more than sufficient to meet any outdoor enthusiasts needs.

Yelp
It's an OUTDOOR WORLD! This one is amazing and wish it was closer to home in VA rather than just on our way when we travel south. They had a whole Orvis store inside for fly fishing. YAY!!!

Yelp
Everyone was pleasantly helpful with what we needed. I went in to buy one thing and walked out with four. They have us information on how to order what they were out of stock. Great place for the avid camper, fisherman, and hunters out there.

Yelp
What they carry can be found slightly cheaper online, although when it comes to fishing supplies, the price is worth having access to their enormous selection. Unfortunately it's 35 minutes away, but it's worth 1-2 trips a year to get what I need.

Yelp
Bass Pro Shop is a great place to play hide-and-seek! I'm pretty sure they sell just about any type of outdoorsman gear you could want too. I would call it the Walmart of outdoors stores if Walmart sold quality merchandise.

Yelp
I really felt out of place here, because I am not much of a fisherman or a hunter. Every other person in this place was wearing a shirt with a picture of a fish on the back, not really my cup of tea, but there is a lot of things here that have to do with the outdoors. There are more fishing poles here than I have ever seen in my life. I felt a little uncomfortable with all of the decapitated deer heads hanging from the tall wood walls. If you are a southern boy they have everything you need: beef jerky, candy, knives, hunting glasses, and stuffed fish animals. Wow.

Yelp
The worst service I have ever received. We bought a 2015 Fishing Barge from this location, and have had issues with the trim after the first season we used it. I live on High Rock lake in Lexington NC and had to pull the boat out of the water after the first season, less than 40 hrs. to take it to them for the trim module. I picked the boat up and get it back in the water and one season later, the same thing happens. I called the service manager and explained the situation to him and his response of course is bring the boat in. Well my response was how would you suggest I do that, with the trim being all the way down. His response is well I don't know what to tell you sir. Little does the shithead know, I own a boat repair business in Winston Salem. I asked that he just go ahead and give me some feedback on trading the boat and upgrading to a tri-tune with more horsepower. I received a call from sales telling me the will give me $16k for a boat I paid $36k for, that has a warranty issue. I am going to pull the boat out of the water and trade it on something better than a Suntracker and BASSPRO will never have my business in any way ever again. I am boat number ten and we bought this boat for my wife, so she can fish with my Grandaughter. I am a power boater, that is on boat # 10 and have live on the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland for the past 17 years. I will also contact and let Suntracker know what kind of BS customer service I received from this Facility. The only person who was helpful from the start was Wesley. Basspro you will never get my business every again. Ravi Persad Owner of Worldwide Autobody Marine & Heavy Commercial 336-992-5678 We have a 5 star Yelp & Google rating.
