Lovely spot for drinks, pintxos and people watching sat outside. Gildas were fantastic and the staff recommended Rioja was lovely. The Tinto de Verano and Kalimoxto are well mixed. Friendly staff, catering for tourists and locals. If you're looking for a quick break from sightseeing or a long lazy afternoon this is a good place situated in Bilbao's old town.

We went here for the food with high expectations and it delivered! I mean DELIVERED! I was near tears eating their version of Russian salad (potato salad).... everything was prepared with exceptional attention to FINE detail. Off the hook. Tomato salad with nectarines was the best salad in my life. Period. Great wine....try the first Txokolina.... amazing wine.

A quick breather during our walk. Very friendly staff. The food is also delicious and well-prepared. A wide selection of vermouths. You can sit inside or outside. It's nice to sit outside and watch the people go by 😃. We paid about 12 euros for what you see in the picture . Highly recommended 👍.

Very friendly staff who were very kind to English people with bad Spanish who were trying their best! A great selection of vermouth and wine and good recommendations from staff. Lots of options for delicious food and a really warm and relaxed atmosphere. My favourite thing in bilbao!

Freshly cooked tortilla. But you have to chase the waiter literally to get your plate, and it’s cold when you get it.

Popular in the evening, but worth angling for a spot. Personally recommend the Gilda pintxos (manzanilla olives, anchovies, Guindilla picked peppers, Extra virgin olive oil on toast) & alberiño wine. They close at 10 but they are gracious and will let you linger to finish. Price is nice, Great spot!!

The customer service was truly exceptional - it was an absolute delight! To our pleasant surprise, the staff spoke English and took the time to walk us through the various options available. As vegetarians, we were pleased to find a decent variety of dishes on offer, and the overall atmosphere of the establishment added to our enjoyment. It's clear that the staff takes great pride in their work, and we encourage them to keep up the excellent job they're doing.

Modern pintxos place with good vibe, it is mostly busy so be prepared to stand with drinks and food, part of the experience as well.

Excellent food, incredible service. No visit to Casco Viejo would be complete without several stops at this lovely place. Frequent enough and the staff will remember your favorite drink!

Baster ended up being my last meal in Bilbao. It's a neat spot but on a Saturday night, the inside was packed and all the outside seating was packed. I sort of lucked out as I placed my beer and pinxtos order at the outside counter just as a nearby standup table opened up. The Estrella was cold and satisfying. My sandwich took a little while to be headed up in the panini press but worth the wait. Tasty, filling and delicious. It's a neat spot right next to the big church wall. Neat space. Totally would return.

Stopped in here before I checked into my Airbnb this place has really great pinchos! Would come back!!!!!

Chill vibes. Vermouth bar with a variety of pintxos, and several other alcohol options. We had wine which hit the spot. Open during (what we thought were) siesta hours. Highly recommended for a chill early afternoon spot.
