Great food, amazing host, my kids who are very picky eaters, wanted to go for seconds. Highly recommend, offbeat path. Fish soup and Bazara were amazing.

We visited on recommendation by our apartment host. I do not understand how this restaurant is below 4* on Google. It’s brilliant, a must to escape the crowds. I had a mixed seafood plate, one of 3 in Montenegro, and this was by far the best. The waitress helpfully offered my friend a vegetarian risotto, which she said was delicious. The service was friendly and helpful. For information, there are two Bastion restaurants in Montenegro. Bastion 1 is a seafood restaurant, Bastion 2 is a meat restaurant. Do pay a visit to this quaint little gem.

While a lot of places had queues, this place was quiet with a very beautiful view within the old town. We enjoyed a delicious mixed fish grill and black risotto in a calm atmosphere and no rush!

A hidden gem in Kotor. super quality seafood ❤️❤️ I am so in love that I over ate ❤️ Shrimps are so fresh and juicy, fish was on point with olive oil and garlic. regards to the chef and a must try when in old town💯💯

Great location just outside of the River Gate of Kotor Old Town. Good food, very generous portions and reasonable prices. Will definitely come back again.

This is an elegant restaurant serving quality food for people who treat food n those who prepare n serve it with respect. It's an elegant restaurant that demands quiet enjoyment n good table manners. What a gem. Indeed, a last bastion against the tide of uncouth humanity that is invading Montenegro. Let's work to protect it. 26/6/25 I decided to dine here for the second time after not being able to find a table for one lower down the Old City. Seems that good things require more effort. I count my blessings as the Pasta Gamberi was very good as was the salad n wine. I will sleep contented tonight knowing that I had enjoyed excellent value for money ie not ripped off as u would be down at the squares.

This was a great place to get seafood (a must in Kotor). The outdoor seating provides the best atmosphere, I think. The food was delicious and the wine was good as well. Our server was very friendly and helpful. The addition of kitties walking around was one that I enjoyed. Great place.

Came here twice in 1 day Once for lunch trying their calamari stuffed with prawns And then back again for the fish chowder Super friendly service! Male waiter always so helpful 2 lovely lady cooking!
