These are rooms above a restaurant; mine had a lovely view of Meteora.||SERVICE: I didn't encounter bad service anywhere in Greece, but this wasn't a hotel, so service was limited. The hosts were friendly, and available in the restaurant.||ROOM: My room was large, modern and well-renovated. The blinds were closed when I arrived, and I never bothered to open them until shortly before I left, when I discovered the beautiful view. So open the curtains!||BREAKFAST: I did not eat breakfast, but I did have lunch and dinner at the restaurant, which was good, classic Greek food.||PARKING: Available at the restaurant, a little difficult to find. If you are coming from the highway, when you see the hotel, keep driving about 200 meters and look for a small sign on the right indicating where to turn for parking for Rooms Batalogianni. You can park either in the four or so spaces right next to the house or there is an overflow area just about 20 meters further on.||WIFI: no issues.||LOCATION AND SIGHTS: Extremely convenient for seeing Meteora. Kastraki is quieter than Kalambaka. Check times for the monasteries, and the main viewing point on the road (it's listed on Google Maps) was much quieter in the morning than at sunset.||No dealbreakers or issues.

The perfect place for vegetarians 👌🏼 they have a variety of vegetable-based and grilled (also fried if you prefer) food on the menu with absolutely fair prices, five stars for the food!! 👏🏼 in addition, the terrace has a great view, a bit quieter than other places, as you are not sitting directly on the street. Definitely a recommendation! 😊

We had such a great stay here. The staff made us feel like a part of their family and the food in the restaurant was fantastic. The best olives and moussaka I've ever had.

Great location with a good quality/price. Food is well prepared, excellent breakfast, rooms have everything you need. Staff is very friendly and the private parking in this area is much appreciated. Magnificient views over the area.

Amazing views at lunchtime, of meteora and the white capped mountains in distance. Loved the garden setting and homemade food made us very happy.

Very good food with an unbelievable view. We had the fortune of seeing the moon rise right behind the pillars of Meteora whilst enjoying delicious food for a very reasonable price.

An excellent experience in this taverna restaurant! We were on a hurry and they prepared everything on time and it was quite delicious! Not even one plate was mediocre. They were all 5 stars. And the stuff was the best too! Very polite very human! I highly recommend it! The terrace with the nice view of the rocks of meteora is a big plus!!

Well, what else could be the perfect match if an authentic Greek food is not combined with a great view... so in Taverna Batalogianni, customers could be nicely surprised with pedestrian tables, some inside tables, and the Garden with the view, which is a breathtaking dining experience. But what makes the place special is the food, of course, a dishes prepared from recipes that are followed from ages. We got plenty of food to try as Tzaziki, Tarama dip, Eggplant salad, Saganaki, and some Meat mix plater created by us... all of this combined with a lot of Greek beers. The environment is just great with friendly staff as well. Recommended to visit it and express your own opinion as well. Well done, team Batalogianni!
