Batch 44 Brewery and Kitchen

Only tried the flat flatbread appetizer along with Frogs Kitchen Sink West Coast IPA on tap. Both were an excellent combo! The first impression was an enjoyable experience and will likely be back again in the future!

Decent pub like fare, definite highlight is the chicken burger , it very nicely battered and cooked . I enjoyed there lager. Wife wanted the lasagne but they were out of meat sauce. Place was busy but servers were doing great job.

Eventhough its listed as a bar, casual eating with kids was very comfortable. They had board games and arcade (Pac-Man, golf) for free. Nice relaxed atmosphere and great food too, I had the bayou bite burger which was great.

We had the best time this evening at Batch44. The food was awesome. I had the Bayou bite sandwich. Omg it was delish! Tasted their new pale ale which was excellent. Our service was absolutely great with Hana our server taking care of it with exceptional warm service. Thank you for the experience! Loved it. We will come back!!

It's been a day since Batch 44 had their most excellent chowder on the menu. The menu has been simplified since pre-covid, and like everywhere, prices have gone up. But it is one of the few places open until 10 pm on the Coast, with food and a decent selection of drinks. There is a patio outside for hot summer days and a decently spaced interior. Burgers are always juicy. This time we shared the Mac n cheese and battered cod tacos with a side salad. Mac n cheese was hearty, and tacos were substantial. They have killer hot sauce by request....warning....this one is off the charts!!

We visited this establishment with our dog and the waitress was fantastic. The dog friendly patio is turf lined and they provided water as well. The food was very good and the service was prompt.

Gotta give this place a try. Dogs! They have a dog friendly patio that's great for people and car watching! Loved seeing the cool old cars driving by. Our waitress was great with a good sense of humor. The calamari starter was delicious 😋. The Watermelon Vodka drink was absolutely refreshing. The lagers and red wine were definitely to be tried. We had beer battered cod tacos loaded with just the right fixings and a side of fries. The wings were fried just right and very good but could've used a bit more salt and pepper on them. The beef brisket burger was a very good roast beef sandwich but we felt it didn't quite hit the brisket mark. Side note....if you want Gravy.....one order could be used by 2 or 3 people. I will be back to try it again.

Chelsea is rude and inattentive. Made eye contact with her when I walked in at about 3 pm on September 13, 2025 and sat at the bar. Then another patron came in after me. She helped him first (white middle aged man) instead of me, (black female). I ordered a sample of the IPA then she never came back again. Paige was wonderful however, over time she waited on me, I ordered wing, very good and she gave suggestions. She was kind. On my way out, saw Chelsea on the patio, I smiled and said "goodbye." She didn't utter a word to me so then I was sure she had something against me. She needs firing and Paige needs a promotion. Paige is why I ranked in 2 stars instead of 1. I won't be back...ever.

Fun spot to hang out while in Sechelt. We came on a Wednesday night in July, not knowing it was music trivia bingo night, and ended up having a great time! The food was a mixed bag, some dishes great, some not so much. The general consensus was the beer wasn't great. But I did enjoy my cocktail! The DJ/emcee for music trivia bingo was a lot of fun. You got to choose your Bingo card. He played songs spanning the decades, but you're also allowed to Shazam. He also walked around, looked at our sheets, and pointed out any songs we may have forgotten to stamp. People from our table one 3 out of 5 prizes given that night! THE DRINKS * Passion fruit fizz - 4.5 stars Lovely thick layer of egg white that gave the drink texture, sharp citrus flavor. Also, props to the staff as my partner ordered the wrong drink for me at first - they let me swap out that wrong order for this drink! * Coast Sour - 3 stars This drink was not for me - too strong, flavors not subtle at all. The beers generally weren't great; a lot of them lacked body and complexity. The best one was the IPA, the worst was the cream ale. THE FOOD * Bayou Bite - 4.5 stars The bun & slaw were good, and we liked the bbq sauce. The breading had a great crunch but we had 2 thinner slices which leads to less juicy chicken and too much breading. * Beer Battered Cod Batch Soft Tacos - 4 stars The fish tasted very fresh, with a nice balanced thin layer of breading and lots of toppings that worked well. Don't let it sit too long or it could get pretty soggy. * Nachos - 1-2 stars I didn't try this or get a photo, but my friend said this was pretty bad.

Food was alright. We sat outside in the patio bench area. It was loud b/c its right off the main street. Mango Tuna poke bowl was alright. My burger was fine with nice fries.

Pleasant stop here for beer and appetizer. Beer was fine and our order of Guacamole and chips was adequate. Small bowl of chips and thimble of guacamole which was was completely pureed so I'm going to say something from a container.

This place is a great place to go if you want to get a hair in your Poke bowl and not just a second time to. They don't wear food safe laws of wearing hair nets. If you have ever had a Brain injury then they won't let your kind/type in same goes for Tap 22 they will kick you out and not serve you again. If you have a brain injury don't try getting in as they will just ban you without an excuse to why.

I had the Batch 44 burger with fries. My wife had the Batch bowl. We were very happy with our food! We will definitely be coming back!

Very nice dog-friendly patio area outside - perfect for warm summer days! Patio area is spacious and even has a nice turf - very comfortable for laying down beside my hoomans as they drink some nice cold beer. There's some umbrellas set-up, which provides some shade for warmer days. Patio is not covered though, and there were no patio heaters when we were there, so not sure how patio will fair during rainy days. Staff was super friendly and offered water for me as we came in! They came out to take the orders so hoomans didn't need to leave my by myself, which is super appreciated! Great selection of beer and some good cocktails! Happy Hour menu is great! $4 for 16oz of beer. Vibe is chill - very nice hangout spot!

All in all an okay place for beer and snacks on the Sunshine Coast. Our waitress was very welcoming and friendly but would just say the food was like most pub food. The beers were not bad. A great place to hang out with friends and catch up.

It is great to see a brewery/pub in Sechelt, particularly one that allows kids (it was lunch time). The menu had a good variety, but I would only rate the food as a 4/5. For example the gyro was decent but thin on the meat. And because it's served with a pile of fries, there doesn't need to be any inside of it! The kids plate of mac 'n cheese was massive, good for two kids and more to take home, but no options for sides of veggies or something healthy. My wife's beer pan chicken was dry. Lastly, I'll comment on the beer. I ordered a flight. Two IPAs, the Scottish red ale and their lager. Each was average. My wife had the weissbeer, which I would say was quite good. You have the skills, you'll make it better through time! We will be back as the options for this type of fare are limited in the area, and I'm confident the beer will continue to improve.

All good. Watched a couple games there, a meal beer decent prices and quality. Scottish beer was great.

Newly renovated space, fun vibe, very extensive menu. Everything I have tried has been tasty, with lovely presentation. Service is attentive and good. The only downside is the main room can be quite noisy during peak times- not the place for a romantic , quiet dinner. If you're looking for an upbeat night out with great food, this is it.

We tried out the new restaurant and brew house. I ordered a burger and fries and my wife ordered the ribs with fries that also comes with a small salad. The ribs were tender and delicious. The only problem is they put the ribs on top of the fries making them soggy. The burger patty was overcooked and very dry. The bacon on the burger was almost raw. Not a great experience.

Our server was very friendly and courteous. We got our appetizer quick, but it took over 40 minutes to get our main course. Unfortunately the food was terrible and not near what I would of expected for a prime time spot and nice looking venue.

The beer was good, food was good and portions were good. Two is us had an app and burger with drinks and was enough for us.

Ordered clam chowder which was dissent and brisket sandwich. Instead of sandwich I was given pulled pork inside of Wonder Bread type burger bun. Pulled pork was not smoked And covered in something terribly sticky-sweet. People! Sandwich means two pieces of bread with meat inside!

We have lived on the Sunshine Coast for over 30 years and I can honestly say this was one of the worst meals we have ever had. Between the four of us having dinner the only complimentary thing we could say about the experience is that the ketchup was good. Two of us had burgers and two had the Lingcod and chips. When ordering my burger, I specifically said no mustard as I was allergic and the waitress wrote it down. She assured me it would be mustard free. I took one bite and gagged from the mustard. I sent it back and the waitress brought the fries back to eat while I wait. They were cold. When my burger arrived, sans fries, it dripped in grease, yet was tasteless and dry. The bun had to be at least a day old. The gentleman who was with me could only eat half of his burger because it was terrible. The two people who ordered the fish and chips could not finish their meals. The batter was overcooked and almost burnt. The menu stated light batter but this was not the case. The fries were cold. We ordered Pepsi/Coke and it was flat and tasted watery. I am glad we didn't spend any money on alcohol as none of us finished our meals, took most of it home to give to our dogs. It was all beyond disgusting, overpriced and such a disappointment as this type of restaurant is needed on the coast. We will not be back and neither will any of our friends.

They have done a lot of things right at Batch 44. The set up/decoration is good. The staff is friendly and effective. The food is good brewpub quality, fairly priced, and the serving sizes are generous. And they have covered the basic covid considerations. I have two suggestions. One, add some music. Two, brief your staff to keep 2 meters away from patrons, particularly if no one is wearing masks. I know there is not much covid on the coast right now, but summer and more traffic is coming. Folks are not used to having unmasked servers standing right next to the tables.

All in all---ok. I'd give the food a B+, service a B-. We were there for lunch and didn't try the beer so maybe next time (and there will be a next time). Friendly, with a bricks and beams industrial decor. Appropriate Covid precautions in place and maintained. Seven beers on the board, and they looked interesting so I look forward to that. Food was ok- basic pub food, reasonably wide choice (burgers, salads, Ruben (actually a Rachel, but who's being picky)) and prepared in a timely way. We had the Power Bowl Salad and the Mushroom Flatbread, both good. My minor beef- service could have been a little more attentive; it wasn't that busy, but no offer of a coffee refill, for example, and slow on the bill. And no salt/pepper on the table- I gather they drop the s/p off with fries? But as I say we were happy enough and will be back. Good to have them in Sechelt- not enough brew pubs on the Sunshine Coast that sell good food, I think.

Went on a Sunday, ordered beer and caesars to drink, and the burger, mac and cheese, and cauliflower bites to eat. Drinks were awesome and the food was delicious, big portions so you can take some home as well. Our server Lucas was super friendly and very attentive. Overall an awesome experience. Will be back again soon.

Great start to a really great beer resto. After being opened for 9 days I was expecting tired staff and "sorry were out of .." neither of which happened. Beer is tasty and will be great in time. Every time a burger came out necks were craning to watch it go by. Roberts Creek may have their Gumboot but we've now got another place to drink besides the Lighthouse.Batch 44 is a big hit. Definitely will be back.

Excellent food and service tonight! Covid protocols were clear and safe. The server was quick with service, wit and suggestions-and all were on point! New, lighter batter on cauliflower appy was 100% better than previous version and the Power Bowl with tofu was tasty and filling! Medusa lager was excellent, as always. Can't wait to go back.

This place was needed badly in Sechelt as you I'll tell by how busy this place is. We've been very lucky and found seating right away but only two of us, bigger groups may have to wait a bit. It's a seat yourself place right now. Beers are good as is the atmosphere. The Gyro is not vegetarian but reads like it could be and only a few fries inside so don't think it replaces the side. I've also had the spinach salad and it was delicious. Had too many artichoke hearts and I found them unnecessary but the salad with the pumpernickel fries made a full meal. Hopefully once they get their groove they will offer specials and community nights. Also maybe a few TV's for sports events? I think it will organically grow with community demand. So happy to have them here.

A nice little brand new craft brew pub. Decent ambiance. IPA was fine. Food was quite nice. Gastro pub style. I'd go back.

I love this place! The food and staff are wonderful. On our 3rd visit, there was some confusion on our order but the Chef personally came out to make sure everything was remedied. We've tried a few different things on the menu. Kudos on the Chicken sandwich, fries, mushroom pizza. I would definitely recommend!

I don't normally write reviews. The food and service at lunch today was fantastic. I would also say the buffalo chicken wings were prob the best I have had.

Good place to grab a bite and taste good brew. Prices so so but our server (young lad - from Sweden?) was excellent. Pleasure to interact, professional and knowledgeable knowledgeable
