Batek-Lah Collection

This store specialises in high quality batik items that includes clothes, including shirts, blouses, night wear, souvenirs, aprons, etc. They are all handmade in their factory on the western side of the island. You can view a video of their manufacturing process in house. They have on display several of the ink stamps that are used to create batik garments. The garments are mostly priced at RM 199 each and no bargaining is allowed. It's not cheap but it is clearly a quality product. The staff are friendly and helpful. While the store is at a strategic location, parking in the area is extremely difficult. Advisable to use public transport. The store carries a large variety of clothing. They are open 7 days a week until late.

Annie and Sheile are extremely helpful to us when choosing a right fit and good looking batek shirt from the minute you walk in the store! The store is clean and spacious and has a lot of offerings! Even tho a bit of walk from the busy tourist areas, this is probably the best place to get a batek!

Highly interesting boutique with marvelous fabrics, I bought two short sleeve shirts with amazing patterns. They are very knowledgable and share their expertise, to make everything for the customer. Malaysian products of highest quality. We can only recommend the place.

I visited a delightful Batik shop that specializes in traditional Malaysian prints on clothing. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly and helpful shop assistants who made the experience even more enjoyable.The designs were absolutely stunning, and I couldn’t resist trying on a few pieces. I ended up purchasing a couple of shirts and a beautiful dress! What impressed me even more was their offer to tailor-make another shirt for me in my size and ship it directly to my home since they didn’t have it in stock. Shopping here was a pleasure, and I felt great supporting local crafts. I highly recommend this shop for anyone looking to embrace the beauty of Batik!
