Bates Nua Restaurant Rathdrum

We had a lovely dinner at Bates Nua last weekend during a visit to Rathdrum. The ravioli was absolutely amazing – perfectly crispy with a rich, flavourful sauce – and the Greek vegetarian burger was just as impressive. The staff were warm and welcoming, making the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable. We'll definitely be back!

Great place with amazing food. The Greek owner was very kind and hospitable. The variety of the desserts and the taste was impeccable especially the sponge cake.

Mid afternoon 2 course bite. New French chef is knocking it out of the park. Price suggested a lower quality. Very pleasantly surprised with what was plated up. Standard menu but very high quality. Hope they can afford to keep it up.

Great little place down a lane way with loads of space inside and outdoor seating for a sunny day.

A pleasure visiting this cosy restaurant! A simple menucard, with both meat- and vegetarian dishes. All homemade. I had the greek vegetarian burger and my husband had the angus burger. Both were very delicious and Rich! The nicest waitrice and owner who deserve to get our best recommendations :-)

The strip loin steak here was cooked and seasoned perfectly so it melted in my mouth! The Ambience of the 300 year old building is so cool we loved it!

Beautiful place with delicious food and outstanding service. We took a group of friends out for lunch to celebrate a special occasion. Adam and the team couldn't be more helpful. The food was fresh and delicious! Portions were very generous and the service was very fast considering the restaurant was very busy on the day. We will definitely be back.

Nice little restaurant, tavern like style, cozy with fire and great staff. We visited after walking in Avondale, day was slow you could tell in restaurant as it was not busy and there was rugby vs France :) Took appetizers, mains, and desert for kids, got free complementary sherry when leaving. Food was on spot great flavours and fresh steaks locally sourced. Price was acceptable for establishment, recommend to anyone passing through Rathdrum.
