My wife and I stopped by here while in Westfield Topanga mall. She wanted to try a lotion product she likes for here so we walked in. Usually a worker would greet you when you walk in or browsing throughout the store but tonight no one approach us. They had a lot of products on display and a decent amount of guest inside. I didn't see that many deals so maybe it's not that time yet. My wife saw some birthday gift stuff that she like so she ended up getting 2 of then near the checkout area. She also found the hand lotion she like but they didn't have a smaller size bottle so she didn't purchase one. When we walked out of the store, the workers thank us for shopping there.

I was here a few weeks ago and finally had the time to post this and the product I purchased. I came in looking for scented refills for my car and the 2 associate one named Yeimi? and another I forget were so welcoming, helpful and answered all my questions. I also purchased a limited edition stranger thing candle holder because they offer to hold the item for me <3

By far the worst and most disappointing experience I have ever had. I received a spray for Christmas and wanted to exchange for the same thing because the spray top wasn’t working. They told me they would charge me the new difference for the even exchange. How does that make any sense? Chantella Parris Should be ashamed of herself and her bad attitude towards customers

Honestly I get the holidays can be a stressful time for workers and consumers alike, but having common courtesy goes a lot further than employees think. It’s not just about asking me if I need help when I walk through the doors. It’s how each and every one of your staff addresses people in general. Every time I come here I can be so nice and I always run into one or many staff members who lack self awareness and the ability to acknowledge people around them… I don’t have a major issue but the seasonal people you guys hire suck (if that’s who are the ones working).

I had an extremely disappointing experience at the Bath & Body Works in Topanga Canyon, Los Angeles. I was purchasing over $200 worth of creams and sprays. Due to a recent shoulder surgery, I kindly asked the staff to double-bag my items to make them easier to carry. While one associate was initially helpful at register another employee named Dil jumped in took everything from bag for no reason. Shw was incredibly rude, dismissive, and had a terrible attitude. Instead of accommodating my simple request, she insisted on consolidating the items into one heavy bag, despite my physical limitations. Spending significant money at this location only to be treated so poorly is unacceptable. Dil clearly lacks the professionalism and customer service skills expected in a retail environment. This experience has made me reconsider shopping at this location in the future. I went to fallbrook and vanoween location and purchased around $114 more. It's 2024 and market demand is an excellent customer service.

Love this place to get scented candles, shower gels, lotions, and air fresheners. Great gift ideas. It has discount and free gifts when you join the customer club of the company. Discounts around the holidays are very significant compared to the retail prices.

I just wanted to say I was in the store today and overheard the manager loudly lecturing one of the staff members about stuff that could be discussed not in front of customers. Multiple people overheard and felt so bad for the sweet employee being lectured on the store floor. I hope they can have these conversations privately moving forward.

pleasant scents, possibility of testing on site, various types of promotions. Foam soaps are unrivaled. It's great that you can buy a refill. Professional approach to the client.

It was across the Victorias Secret shop. So I went in after shopping. I browsed if they had anything on sale. There was none at that time. The shop was clean, organized and fully stocked. The staff is welcoming and helpful. Shopping on a weekday is the best, the shop is almost empty.

I love this location I think I heard about it a little bit on TickTock that you could return your candles even though you use them. I didn't know that I could do it With hand sanitizer that you buy and used. Unfortunately I got my hand sanitizers in a hurry. I've been dealing with one that makes me sick to my stomach .I happened to bring it up when I was shopping in the store and they told me I could return it even though I used it. Yes please! Got myself a new one .It has a cute little bat o on it.love it !

Located in a section of this sprawling and confusing layout of mall, where upscale retailers abound, is this B&BW. The staff was welcoming, the store was well-stocked, clean, and attractively laid out, and overall it was a nicer venue to visit. It goes back deeper than I expected, with lots of room to roam. I was checking out new seasonal scents in the products I like, including their body creams, liquid hand soap, and travel-size antibacterial gel. Though it was high summer, they were already debuting fall scented candles, and moving away from tropical scents in the lotions and fragrances. One of the associates went into hidden storage to find me a body scrub when I asked about it. She knew her merchandise well, and where to quickly find the secret stash. If you're ever not finding what you seek, I'd recommend asking a staff member, especially at this store. They want to take care of your needs. Mission accomplished!

Bath & Body Works Aromatherapy line of moisturizing body cream and lotion are products that I love to lather up my neekkid body with. I absolutely love, love, love the Eucalyptus and Spearmint, Stress Relief scent ...Mmmm smells so goooodddd and leaves my skin feeling sooooo soft. These products claim to have been crafted with natural essential oils and no artificial dyes in its products. Eucalyptus oil helps clear the mind and spearmint oil helps sooths and uplifts the soul. Intention is everything, Yelpers! -the power of: "Think, BELIEVE and then Receive!!!" This location is order online and curbside pick-up only. I had no problems with curbside pick-up. Curbside pickup is located at the Owensmouth entrance and parking structure -lot "C", left of the Apple/Tesla parking area. B&BW store number at this location is: (818) 274-0278. I don't go here often and now I never will again, this place is terrible. Don't be a sucker. Here's the deal: 15 for $12 hand sanitizers. Simple right? Apparently not. We were in line wayyyyy longer than it should have taken because they couldn't calculate the correct number of products and do simple math, basically incompetent. Excuse me, I am so upset. First, the card machine displayed that we had 22 products, we asked her if she could recount the products. She did. We had ONLY had 18 products. Sure, it can happen. Whatever, that's fine. Problem solved. Just be careful and check how many products you do have and much you are getting ringed up for. Next, looking at the card machine, we inquired, "How come the total is so much? It's almost $50." They said that, "The tax is already included in the price." Even if the tax is included, it shouldn't be almost $50. The lady was trying to be nice but she seemed irk especially when her coworker seemed uninterested in helping out the situation. They both seemed stumped but her co-worker was always quick to answer, "The tax is already included." In the end, I learned IT IS NOT btw, don't let them do you wrong like they did me. The bill came close to $50!!? It was $48 something (I don't remember the change). How is that possible? One lotion was $13.50, on sale for $6.75. + 15 hand sanitizers for $12= $18.75 + 2 hand sanitizers keychain holder for $4.75 each = $28.25 + tax, right? Check my math. So how is it initially almost $50??? Then they said get 2 more hand sanitizers then you'll get the deal. So we got two more but we still didn't get the deal. They said, "We're just going to charge you $1 per hand sanitizer." I said, "That doesn't make sense, it's 15 for $12. We already have 15, you told us to get 2 more..." I took out my phone to show them the calculation. "It should be .80 each if it's 15 for $12." They we're confused. They said, "Well some are .87." Then I said, "Then why are you charging $1 each." Then again they said, "The tax is already included." Ok, sure. We'll take what you say. Oh my gosh, I didn't want to make a scene, it literally was taking way to long for this transaction, we just accepted it as is. Walked away, looked at the receipt because we have spent enough time trying to help them do their job. Tax WAS NOT included but added in the end which you can see for yourself in the picture I included. Service: The employees were not pleased with us when we questioned the total price of almost $50 and being charged more products than we have... we wanted to return the products but decided to just keep it because it's not worth wasting our time. At least we didn't get charged the $50 but we still overpaid for what they are worth. We came to the conclusion, we all won't ever shop here again. This place is for suckers. Don't be a sucker. They get you with "Deals" but really IT IS NOT A DEAL when you know how to count and you're good with money. Bath and Body Works should make sure that their employees know how to count, be able to add and subtract and stick to the deals they have posted. And take it from me, don't listen to them when they say, "The tax is already included." It is not. Very disappointed.

I would never go back to this location again. They have poorly trained seasonal employees that don't understand how to work the register and need constant guidance from a regular employee. So what happened to me is that I was buying $21 dollars worth of stuff. I tried using two coupons: the $5 off $20 and one free item with $10 purchase. So they scanned all my items including my free item and scanned my coupon for $5 off $20 and told me my total is $20. I told the guy you charged me for the free item I wanted. He scans the free item coupon then tells me I can't do two coupons. That's fine so I just wanted to use the $5 off $20. He removes the other item I wanted for free but then said I used up my coupon already. BASICALLY the short of it is I managed to get 20% off but after a couple back and forth with the other cashier trying to help him while ringing up her customer. But now I basically missed out on a coupon due to poor training for the holiday season. It's only a couple dollars off, and honestly the situation was more annoying so it was preferable to just get out of there. Make sure you know how much the total should be before you pay at this store or you might get charged an invalid amount like me.

After 3 years or so, still bad customer service it sucks! I bought a candle online and the candle did not come with the lid. So i thought maybe the store can give me ONE LID. But of course, terrible as always, they did not give me any lid and was given the most ridiculous advise. To come back, bring the candle and they will exchange it for a candle with a lid. Whaaaatt? Isn't it not the same as just giving me a lid at that moment? Just for a freakin lid for an online purchase that I can verify, they have to act so rude and poorly towards a customer. I don't know if they are just dumb or what. Their store is soo fragrant but their attitude smells like trash. Over and over the years. So yeah, I grab one lid and went out.

I've always been in and out with b&bw but y'all definitely got me back in with these sales. From the hand sanitizers to the soaps. This last time I went and got about $20 worth of hand and body soaps and saved more than $30 . I find myself checking my email for more deals. This location the employees were so friendly and informative. You can tell it was a busy day and they had such a great attitude about everything. Great place.

Mercy is the best! Was waiting outside early before the store opened because I wanted to get in for the candle sale. I was anticipating a madhouse. Mercy noticed me standing there and said I could come in if I liked. Who does that! So sweet of her. She was so warm and friendly too! Thanks Mercy for showing me some mercy ;)

Let me start off by saying there manager Cesar is the most rude and unprofessional person I've ever came across. I walked into the store to use my coupon that they sent me to redeem a free item. I was two days past the exp instead of him accommodating me for something that's 8.95 and cost the company nothing. He gives me a nasty attitude and said sorry he can't do it with a sarcasm. Don't like how he made me feel. I've been a customer for 20 plus years and been shopping at the topanga location for over 11 years. Thanks to Cesar I will never be back in this store and I'll make sure to let me friends and coworkers not to shop at this location ever again.

Im very disappointed. I went in today trying to use a gift card for the very first time gifted to me for mothers day and was told by the cashier there was nothing on the card. I called Bath and Body Works customer service as suggested to me by the cashier as soon as I got home. The lady over the phone told me the hard had been used on 05/01 and that they are not responsible and refused to provide the information of where it was used. That is impossible. It was a mothers day gift! How could it have been used before that?? The only thing I can think of is the cashier who sold the gift card to my father at the Topanga Mall location, used it for herself just a couple days after the purchase. Bath and Body Works stole $100 from me and is refusing to refund me. Shame on you! Note: I'd like to point out this review is not against the girls who helped me today, more so for the customer service provided to me over the phone and the theft from their cashier on the day the gift card was purchased.

Came here today and will Absolutely NEVER be coming back. Worst experience EVERY and I've never shopped at this store. DEBBIE was my cashier and it's very clear she doesn't like her job. She was unhelpful , uninterested, and RUDE. She was more intrested in the customers argument in the next line than she was with the customer in her line. I I literally was asking her a question regarding candles and she was completely zoned out in their conversation.. I had to say " HELLO" I'm asking you a question... and her response was UNBELIEVABLE!! I understand retail is stressful, but this is what you signed up for. You submitted your resume, you went on your interview, you WANTED to work there. So treat your customers accordingly. -Do better ,

My favorite place in the entire world after Disneyland . This place owns my heart . I love their candles ! I'm so obsessed with candle day . Been going for 5 years in a row now. Their lotions and body sprays smell amazing ! Each time they come up with these great scents . I keep falling in love with . The soaps are a must have in my household . I have them In each bathroom and kitchen . I also recommend their men's product. Last year I gifted them to family members for Christmas and now I've got the men hooked too for BBW! There's really nothing to hate about this place . Customer service at this store is always on point . Especially with covid going on they make sure it's a safe environment for everyone ! Handing out hand sanitizer and everything .

Had an excellent experience today! It was my first time going into a mall since the shut down so I didn't know what to expect. Everyone was super friendly and helpful! They had beautiful holiday displays set up. It was beyond clean and organized.

Best place to buy gifts for self Mom granny or lady. The smells are out of this world and the vibe is amazing. Ask for mercy. She is full of Positive energy and loves to help. Such a happy and kind human.

Now I'm A Frequent shopper and Usually Love The Customer service I receive. But not this Time around seem to me the only one Working and Giving Complete custom service Was The Greeter. Bout time I FINALLY got to the Register after Standing in line While the 2 cashier's was Talking to Mall employees in line about their Co Workers, mind you It Wasnt Nice At All. It was a Very Unprofessional visit to the New Beautiful Store whi h the Employees Should be Setting examples for Shoppers. Don't want to leave n ames But I believe There was A Manager At the Register not Being her Best at the time. Not a Goid Look For Someone who Works With the Public As Well. Ijs

Love Bath & Body Works! Their products are fantastic and I find myself in here almost every time I visit the mall :) The sales associates at this location are SUPER helpful and friendly. I always feel like multiple sales associates greet me and talk to me whenever I enter this location. I even stayed past 9pm (closing time) and they were in no rush to kick me out of the store when I was paying for my items! The ONE thing that I don't like about this place is that I don't entirely love the layout. The displays are everywhere and it's almost maze-like...you can't walk in a straight line from the back (cashiers) to the front of the store. It's more like weaving in and out of the tables. Not a HUGE deal but I was trying to rush out of the store one time and had a hard time getting out because of the tables in the way and also because of customers standing in my way.

Jesus was helpful. I asked him about the pumpkin cupcake hand soap which I could not find. He found the product. I asked if the antibacterial gel was buy 3 get 3 free. Yes they are on sale too. Big sale today on soaps, hand gel, candles and wax melts buy 3 get three free!

Do you want to know what I do on my second monitor at work, when it's not very busy(and when I'm not on Yelp)? I go on Bathandbodyworks.com and read the millions of reviews on all the products because I am obsessed. HAHA. True story. I didn't use any of their actual bath/body products for a while because.. I don't know why.. I think Warm Vanilla Sugar made me sick in high school. BUT I cannot get enough of their 3 wick candles. They are amazing and I will never stop loving them. Right now I have White Water Birch, Bergamot Tea & Black Pepper and the AMAZING Stress Relief Eucalyptus Spearmint. They all have an amazing throw and will make your house smell so fresh! I have recently got back into using their body products and I am addicted to Sea Island Cotton (yes, I love smelling like fabric softener and laundry detergent). I also ordered the Rainkissed Leaves set from Ebay and it smells so amazing. So clean. One possible 'negative' for me is that BBW seems to have a TON of sweet smelling fragrances and I prefer clean scents, or woodsy scents. With the exception of Paris Amour, I love it and it's pretty sweet. But I'm guessing sweet sells, especially with the younger crowd. I try only to shop here during awesome sales like 2 for $22 3 wicks or during their Semi Annual Sales. I wouldn't spend $12 on each full size product. The staff are very friendly but also can be annoying when you just want to smell everything without being questioned. hehe But I know they are just doing their job. This review is so scrambled and may not even help at all but I am just venting and inhaling the smell of the Eucalyptus Spearmint lotion, as we...Yelp? Yep! :)

I normally shop at Bath & Body Works but at this particular location, I had fantastic service from Jesus who worked there. I had gone in probably 10-15 minutes until closing and Jesus was so helpful. I was looking to see if the shea socks were in yet and he showed me where they were at. He even brought out some other designs from the back because the front only had one design of the socks and showed us where the 50% 3-wick candles were which I had to get! I didn't feel rushed at all and I was very pleased with my experience.

i love how they put all the stuff in order and u love the smell of everything but I did not like how they did not have coffee for you to smell but overall I love everything.

Great store ! However the personnel they have working here are just plain rude ! Why does management only hire girls that are just full of themselves, dramatic and canning with their team mates ? Even observing management, they are no better.. I just don't understand the way females act so nasty with each other. It makes a company look so unprofessional.

Just want to say THANK YOU to the staff today for being so patient and helpful. I brought my puppy with me and she was barky and loud, but they were so patient and sweet. I wish I had gotten the girl's name, but they were all so lovely.

Normally I don't review retail stores but my experience was so great that I had to. Lauren was the nicest,upbeat, & most helpful employee I have ever meet. She was very devoted to assisting me & my mom find a great holiday candle.Her upbeat personality made my shopping experience amazing. Normally when I go to a store like bath & body works I don't get such amazing service. Please promote Lauren, I will come back!!!

Great selection of hand lotions, hand soaps and scented hand sanitizer. The sales man who helped me was very helpful

I haven't been to this location for years but I was favorably impressed by their sale section. Most of the store seemed to be on sale (Semi-Annual Sale), including 75% off all Awake, Vincent Longo and Goldie cosmetics, 75% off Joey NY, 50% off Davies Gate, Warren Tricomi and Jonathan, 25% off some Fekkai gift sets. Molton Brown and C.O. Bigelow items were also on sale. Some BBW locations carry better brands than others and the Topanga location is one of the better ones. They carry Caudalie, Mustela, Sekkisei, Ahava, etc. along with their own BBW brands. BBW comes out with new products and something is always on sale. It seems like I get a coupon with every purchase. The coupons typically entitle you to a free lip gloss, 3 oz. signature lotion or $10 off. I like their signature hair care line because it leaves my hair smelling like Warm Vanilla Sugar. They seem to carry fewer candles now though (and more Wallflowers) which is a shame. Wallflowers just aren't as good as candles.

I had a very bad experience with the employee here name ellie and her manager april. A caucasian lady customer ahead of us bought a lot of merchandize since they are having a great deal of sale. She asked for small bags about more than 20. So it will be easier for her to distribute as gifts..... my turn came, and i bought like 20 items and i asked for smal bags as well and ellie (saleslady) told me " im sorry but we are not allowed to give you little bags since we are very limited in stock"!!!!! WTH just happened!!!!! I got soooo hurt, insulted and felt so low at that moment. I told her, you just gave it to the lady before me and now u wont give me any? Whats the difference between a caucasian lady given all the rights and priviledge and an asian woman like me who has no right to ask for the same priviledges??? Is this still happening here until now???? This sounds like discrimination!!!!!! C'mon and i called the manager april who obviously has the same mentality and told me to calm down!!!! Really, i said if someone treat you the way you treat other races i wana see how you would react!!!! People!!!! Enough with racial HATE!!!! We are all the same now even in little department stores and malls people are practicing racial hatred!!!! Merry xmas to all! Be kind to everyone regardless of their ethnicity! Asians dont ho to bath and body inside topanga mall!!!! Employees there are racist! So sad

Arrived at 8:45, 15 minutes before closing and they wouldn't let me in the store. I understand that they want to go home and close the store on time; I explained all I wanted was a gift card but they still refused to let me in. Told me to come back tomorrow... which I'm hesitant to after the experience I had today (as I try to avoid the day rush because of the whole COVID situation). Very disappointed in the customer service.

Love love love their Japanese Cherry Blossom body spray. The smell is amazing and the travel size is perfect to fit in my backpack. The lotion, however, was a gift from my BFF, but the smell is just too strong. My mom put a teensy pea sized amount on her hands and I could (literally) smell it from 30 feet away. Otherwise, I love the perfume. Also, the vanilla buttercream hand cream rocks! Love the scent! Love B&B works. Great place.

Was at the mall shopping & decided to stop in & look around. We were greeted by Jesus who was incredibly sweet! He gave us a sample of some new hand cream that we loved so much we had to buy it! He was helpful with questions we had & made our store experience great! I would definitely come here again for his customer service attention. Also when we were ready to check out, there was quite a line, so Jesus came up & opened another register to help!

Big shout out to this B&BW location because not only are they totally cool with me bringing my dachshund in the store but today I brought in a broken Pocketbac holder that I bought maybe over a year ago, and they exchanged it for me. No receipt needed. Thought that was great customer service and that they really care about their fans of the product. Love this store and I adore the staff. This is probably why I continue to buy their products and return to this specific location. You guys rock! Keep up the great work!

I never really shop at Bath & Body Works, and I don't know a lot about scented cleansing products (body gels, body washes, body mists, etc.) so I did need a little help in deciding what to buy yesterday. Tiffany--the young woman that helped me--was so helpful, kind, and friendly. Salespeople usually will offer their help, but in my experience, it's rare that you'll find someone who has the patience and positivity to significantly help someone who may be a new customer. If it's your first time going to this Bath & Body Works, ask for Tiffany because she knows a lot and is happy to help.

I love bath and body, works for me being a teenager this store helps me out so much. Bath and body works helps me in so many ways. They have a lot of deals and specials. They have a lot of multi purpose smells.

This location was so awesome!! Immediately when we walked in Blanca helped us and was not overly pushy which can happen sometimes at bath & body works but she was amazing right away and helped explain the deals which were great! She was there to answer our questions when we asked specific ones about the deals and then the gentleman at the cash register (but unfortunately didn't catch his name) was super friendly too! Overall we had a very pleasant experience & found everything we needed plus some more!

I love this store..always a good experience every time I visit here. I also end up getting a bunch of lotions and pocketbacs. Staff are friendly and helpful here, place is organized and their products are amazing! Definitely coming back here.

Every time I have gone here the staff has been super nice, and though they are little, for lack of a better word, pushy, it's usually with good advice or suggestions. They often have handouts of product samples and coupons that you can use the day of - sweet! The store is always well stocked, well organized, and well on it's way to getting more money from me, especially with their buy 2 get 1 free specials that seem to always be going on! This is definitely my favorite B&BW in the Valley.

I think this has to be my best experience at Bath & Body Works because,the workers greeted me and were very nice and asked me if I needed any help.I think that is so important.It felt like such a cool fun happy vibe in there.I love coming to this particular Bath & Body works! Keep doing what you're doing!

Superb store - huge inventory. It's mostly a girls' type store but guys can find some useful stuff there too if they're open-minded. I've found that most of the men's lotions out there have not worked particularly well but the ones at BBW are all outstanding. The employees at this and all of their locations are always super friendly. Prices are good. The lotions with the hydrating rice bran formula are outstanding and can be used for multiple purposes. I miss some of the old flavors, but some of the new ones are really great, like the Coconut Lime Breeze. I'm a fan! FIVE STARS and highly recommended for guys as well as girls.

I come here all the time and use multiple coupons (the employee just does different transactions) and I've never had a problem and today KIM made the most annoying comments and was asking the other employees if they did that at this store (assuming she transferred from another store where they didn't let her do that) and kept saying loudly to the other employee that it says only 1 per customer on the coupon. As I know how to read and also have worked in retail as a manager for over 5 years, the way she handled this was extremely disrespectful.
