Bath House Row Winery

My wife and I visited the winery when we were at Hot Springs National Park, and walking the downtown area. We did a tasting of all of their varietals, and really enjoyed them all. Ultimately we picked our 4 favorite and purchased those. The wines are really good, and very reasonably priced.

What an incredible experience. We had no idea when we started out today that we would be doing wine tasting. The lady who waited on us was the best. We sample various wines that she recommended, and we explained what we like, and she let us sample some wines more in line with our likes. We not only left there with wine, but also some really nice savory hot sauce. Darn, I meant to ask if we could buy some of the cool wine glasses that we were doing our wine tasting out of. Thank you!

We took a shopping day down Hot Springs’ Historic Downtown and were happy to accidentally stumble upon this winery! We enjoyed a free tasting of wonderful wine and muscadine hot sauce. Even indulged in both back at our campsite, per the recommendation of the fella working there. Thanks for showing two Texans a great time!

I recently visited this winery for a taste testing and had a fantastic time! Our server was absolutely amazing - super funny, helpful, and even offered to take our picture! The wine selection was decent, and while I only found two wines that really stood out to me, I appreciated the opportunity to try several varieties. One valuable takeaway was discovering that muscadine grapes aren't my cup of tea - good to know for future wine tastings! The real gem, however, was the recommendation to try the Southern Club Moonshine Wine (apparently their sister company?). We LOVED every single one of their wines! I'd definitely suggest checking them out. Overall, I'd recommend this winery for their exceptional customer service and the potential to discover some great wines. Thanks for the tasting experience!

Did a wine tasting by Chris, he did so well! It was so tasty, even the ones that weren’t my favorite were still tasty. They have such good wines here, and great service! We had such a good time! We got the Red, and a white wine!

This place is awesome. We are visiting from Louisiana and the lady behind the bar was so nice and sweet. We loved the experience!

Great experience! I’m more of a dry wine girl, but I was very fond of a few wines I wouldn’t normally try! They do offer free tastings, which is awesome because then you know exactly what you want to buy! I bought the Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio and the Merlot! We walked in with a group of 7 and they let all of us try every wine!

The wines were cheap in taste and our host Hazel was clearly high: rocking back and forth, grabbing at her hair, and starting off into nothing and sniffing something back into her nose. No water was provided to cleanse the palette between tasting different wines to not muddle the flavors, not even when tasting a red after a white and the same glasses were used for each wine— further mixing the flavors. Unprofessional and uncomfortable.

My wife and I luckily stumbled in here and had the nicest time trying various wines and talking to Alicia, who was so lovely and helpful. We highly recommend it!

Intimate winery in the heart of Hot Springs that could easily be overlooked. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the wines served. You can taste 11-12 of the wines free. Which is Unheard of! But, you will walk away with at least one bottle.

I had no idea that Arkansas makes wine! I made a pit stop in Hot Springs and of course I couldn't pass up the opportunity for a free wine tasting. All the wines were delicious and very reasonably priced. If you're ever in the area you should stop by.

We stopped here for a quick wine tasting. Overall, it is pretty small inside and mostly standing room. You really can't beat the deal. You can try up to 12 wines for free. We only tried 4, because at 1 ounce per pour, that can be a lot. The wines were tasty. I stayed on the fruity side, so mine were mostly pretty sweet. The lady who poured our wines was very friendly and personable. They are clearly given a script when presenting the wines, because my husband and I ordered the same one at different times and she gave us the exact same speech for both. However, she knew the ones that were sweeter (suggested to me) and bolder (suggested to my husband). Overall, this was great place to try some wine (especially because it is free) to see if you want to buy a bottle. The ambiance was cozy and staff nice.

I didn't expect to taste sweet wines at this cute place but they were interesting and tasty! I bought 2 bottles and one is made with wild muscadine grapes!! Smelled different but was sweet and delish! I'll be back to this little gem in town. Plus...free tastings!

Great time doing a free wine tasting, I think it took less than 25 mins to try all the wines. Everything tasted great, we bought two bottles. Worker was knowledgeable and helpful.

Very informative and somewhat friendly service. Hot Springs is our quick vacation spot every year and this is our number one sip and stop. We always leave with at least five or six bottles to take home.

This is one of the many fun things that you can do right off of Bath House Row! I mean... what's better than a hot bath and wine?? This is probably the only winery I've ever been to where you can try whatever wines you want for free, out of a glass and having a decent portion of tasting. There's plenty in each category, and there wasn't one that I didn't like! We came in on Labor Day weekend and felt like we were being rushed out of there (even though surprisingly, hardly anyone else was there.) I get it, but I just felt like they didn't really want us there. I ended up buying one of their sweet white wines and I am obsessed! Their bottles are cheap and I regret not getting more. It's totally worth some time to come in, even if you just want to taste some for free!

We love this place! Each time we visit Hot Springs, it's a MUST! staff is always helpful & makes us feel right at home! We always find a wine we like and buy a few bottles to bring back to Texas!

Went there for some wine tasting with some friends and my husband very good wine and the lady who was serving us was very helpful and friendly would definitely go back if I'm ever in this area again.

Nice little shop in downtown Hot Springs. Worth a stop while you are walking around the downtown area. They sell a lot of wine items from stoppers, wine glasses, bottle holders and other stuff. Most are at a respectable price point. Good place to grab a gift for a wine lover. They also sell Arkansas wines. Most appear to be sweet muscadine wines. Smaller number of dry red selections. Some of the wines have Hot Springs inspired labels on them which is cool. This isn't Napa Valley and I suspect they sell more sweet wines to cater to the tourist.

Good wines! Wish they could sell by the glass. Very cute items tp browse and purchase.

Took my Girlfriend after touring Josephine Tussaud's wax museum. The man at the wax museum said they had free wine tasting and they offered 12 bottles compared to the winery 2 miles down the road only having 8. The lady was new doing wine tasting, but was learning and did a great job. If you asked a question and she did not know the answer, she went and asked. The gentleman over seeing her training was either the owner or manager. He was very knowledgeable. We had a great time. Only thing, they did not have seats, I guess they want to turn people quick. It was also a high tourist time we went. Saturday afternoon in June. Very hot out. She interacted very well. Great job.

We stopped in on a whim as we were walking around Bath Row. And I'm so glad we did!! They give free wine samples of several wines. They had so many options!! I ended up buying two wines. They are a great little winery and very friendly!

Trish was great! We were there back in the summer of 2018 I believe. We ended up taking a few bottles home and enjoyed our experience.

This was perfect. The gentleman working on Friday the 11th of October needs a raise!! He was the only employee there and he was swamped. For the tasting we did it was a group of 11 maybe and looked like he had a big group before us. He had to close the shop just to be able to clean up so that could be why people noticed them closed during regular business hours. He had to wash the dishes. The young was was still fun and engaging and we had a great time and left with $80 worth of stuff. Loved it.

My wife has been dragging me to wineries for years and I go because not doing so carries great risks I'm not willing to chance. I sit there and drink wine that makes me pucker up and she says "you have to develop a taste for it" and I'm thinking I didn't have to develop a taste for peanut butter or chocolate. Fortunately, Bath House Row Winery has plenty of wine I can enjoy right off the bat, without forming some sort of long-term relationship. Plus the TASTING IS FREE! Now, let me add an aside. If you are one of the people who believe the tip system is designed by corporate overlords to keep the working man down; and as a matter of principle you refuse to tip because doing so makes you part of an evil system; and you won't be complicit in the exploitation of the masses -- then DON'T VISIT BATH HOUSE ROW WINERY. The excellent - they laughed at my jokes - wine-istas here work solely for tips, so any social justice exhibitionism only hurts these hard-working professionals. This is a tasting where you might want to consider a designated driver. There are 11 wines from which to choose. There is a mixture of sweet (yeah!) and sour (my wife says "dry") and surely everyone will find something to enjoy. The inside of the store is also interesting. My only suggestion to management would be to provide water for the guests, along with crackers and chocolate (chips would do) during the tasting. But I suppose for free, maybe next time I can bring my own water. If you're in the vicinity, I highly recommend stopping in - just remember to tip.

I went inside and did the wine tasting the lady in the inside was very informative and helpful. I ended up purchasing four wines after the tasting. Their wines taste amazing all of them.

Wow, I'm glad I didn't read the other review here before deciding to try out Bath House Row Winery. My wife and I were waiting to get a table at the Pancake House next door and decided to look around in here since we had an hour wait. We didn't intend to buy any wine but seeing their selection we decided to sample a few. In short time my wife had sampled half and I had sampled all of the selections and we really, really enjoyed each one. My wife even swore a few of the whites were some of the best wines she's ever had. Granted she likes wine a bit more on the sweeter side than me but even though I'm not a fan of overly sweet wines I found these to be sweet but not overpoweringly so. We left with a few whites and reds for very reasonable prices and may even order bottles in the future. The woman who served us was very friendly and helpful as well and if I remembered her name I'd give a shout out! I would recommend a stop in if you are in town. I cannot claim to be a wine connoisseur as Scotch, Bourbon and craft beer are my go-tos but I like a good wine on occassion and these fit that bill. I've been to several wineries and of course you can't compare the experience here to what you get at a vineyard based winery where you can tour the grounds, sample a bottle with a great meal and take in the full experience but if you're not in VA or CA wine country a solid selection of local wines at a decent price is all you can really ask and on that front Bath House Row winery delivers.

We were eager to buy a case of wine. The store hours were clearly marked on the outside and were still lit up they had closed and hour early lights are all on open sign is still on the hours are still marked open. People should really be consistent or businesses like this will close.

The staff was very nice and seemed knowledgeable about the wines. It is a small winery as they only had about 10-12 different bottles of wine to offer. I was hoping for a little more variety.

Happened upon this wine tasting room while on my way back from buying cupcakes. The tasting was free. Most of the wines were too sweet for my liking. From what the lady manning the tasting told me, the grapes are grown in Arkansas. I did notice they use Concord grape in some of their wines. Besides wine tasting, they sell wine accessories and T-shirt's. I wouldn't go out of my way to find this place, but if you happen to be close by, stop by and give them a try.

Great wine tasting. You can sample all the wines if you so desire. I love the majestic merlot because it's a cab & merlot blend. Most of the others are too sweet for me but they did have good flavor. Didn't know Arkansas had good wineries very impressive.

Fantastic place with amazing wine. The staff was polite and super helpful when choosing the right flavor for our pallets.

Conveniently located downtown close to other tourist areas. The place is very well kept and clean and the staff was quite pleasant to chat with. Their wine tastings are free. Unfortunately for us, their wines cater more to the sweet pallet. They informed us that some are made locally with Arkansas grapes (Muscadine and such) and others with grapes sources from California. While they pour, they offer you a description sheet which I hate to point out read something like "made from the best Cabernet grapes available" problem is, I was sampling the Merlot. womp, womp. I did point it out and hope they have corrected that mistake. Wish them well.

All I have to say is Alicia ... Alicia was so pleasant, personable & educated on the wine I would come back to this location again and again. Sadly she recommended we also visit their other location (The Winery) and suggested some other wines we could add to our purchase because we wanted to get a whole case and Holly at the other location was so awful we didn't.

Tonight was the last night I had on vacation with my sister so we wanted to go out and hang one last time. Pros: Wines are very affordable and with such a wide spectrum of wines, it's likely you'll find something you like, although most of them are sweet. You can get through it pretty quick so if you're short on time and only care about grabbing a wine you like, go here. Cons: We (three of us) weren't acknowledged at all when we walked in. It wasn't until a large group came in about 5 minutes after us that the woman not attending to the group already at the bar said anything. I inserted myself into the conversation to let her know we would like a tasting. She then went through the tastings as fast as humanly possible. I think we did 12 tastings in about 15 minutes. It was not enjoyable at all and honestly, most of the wines weren't that great. Of the three of us there, we each only really liked 1-2 out of the list. All-in-all, I wouldn't go here again. All other wine tastings I've been to have been fun, relaxed, and just as much as a social outing as it was for picking a wine. Very disappointed that we were rushed through the process.

Omg this was my very first winery experience and it will not be my last. Alicia was absolutely amazing. I had to post a review just for her sake. And i now have a favorite wine, Dogwood is awesome. I will most definitely be back.

Very busy, took a long time to get acknowledged at all by the bar staff. The wines were all pretty disappointing, unfortunately. No chairs at the bar is kind of a bummer. They do let you taste all of their wines for no charge. At the wax museum, we were told that our ticket would get us a free tasting and discounts, so we expected a full flight or tasting, not just sips of the wines. We were kind of disappointed to not get larger servings to try.

My favorite purchase here wasn't even the wine, but the Muscadine Hot Sauce they have stowed away in the back! Great find before a cook out, excellent on wings and mixed with cream cheese. (Don't be fooled, says extra hot, but it's not!) All their wine selections are quite sweet, but I enjoyed the Merlot and we bought a few bottles to take home. It's not much a place for lingering, but a passing stop on your way elsewhere.

We had the best time here! We stopped in twice while in Hot Springs. They give you 9 (!!!) samples of different style wines. The list actually changes regularly and we got some different samples upon our second visit. Really enjoyed the pink moscato and took a bottle home for my momma. What I really loved about this place (aside from FREE WINE) was the laid-back attitude. Neither time did we feel pressured to purchase a bottle in exchange for the tasting, and the staff were all very friendly. I would definitely return!

I'll say it... the wine is gross. they have 3 "dry" wines. they tasted pretty sweet to me, and the merlot definitely was notlike any other merlot I've ever had (in a bad way). none of it wasgood. it's cool that they give free tastings, but no. I tried 2 and that was it.

This was such a great find! The location is so convenient, right on bathhouse row. We happened to pass by after lunch and I'm so glad we did! I came in with a group of 6 other adults, and 4 kids. Rachel was so sweet and handled our large group with such kindness. We all sampled 12 wines and she went over each one with us. We all found at least a few that we really liked and went home with a case. It was a fun and pretty quick activity to do since we were already in the area. I'm so glad we stumbled in, and so thankful for how welcoming Rachel was!

Sister store to The Winery, definitely not the same quality of staff. The wines here are on the dryer side and the space is cramped.

Great little stop. We enjoyed the free tasting and it came with a few jokes. Good wines. Little sweet for me but I did walk out with a bottle. Stop for any wine lover.

We had such a fun experience here! We were in town for a bachelorette weekend and the lady who helped us at the winery made our experience wonderful! We tried all of the wines and loved that there was something for everyone to enjoy. Everyone ended up buying a bottle to take home too!

I'm also glad I didn't read the reviews before I went. Free wine tasting and decent priced bottles. They tell you right away that they only have sweet wine. If you don't care for sweet wine then go someplace else. Otherwise this place is great!
