Google
We were visiting our friend in Los Alamos and he brought us here for Hoppenheimer IPAs. One of the most unique breweries I’ve ever seen in terms of their flights being served in bathtubs, enough great choices to order more than one flight, and one of the most unexpected places I’ve ever seen the Aurora Borealis (visit was October, 2024).

Brian K

Google
Tried three of their beers and they were all delicious. They offered two IPAs, but no hazy on the day we visited. Nice venue with both indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor heating for chilly nights. The staff is very friendly and efficient. For busy times, they also have taps outdoors. They had live music on the night we visited. The food truck was Fusion Tacos. A little slow but well worth the wait. Delicious tacos. Looking forward to going back.

Google
Great experience. The food truck was amazing the beer was good and the staff was friendly

Google
Great little brewery that’s just a block over from the Oppenheimer house and museum. There’s a fair amount of bar and table seating inside and a large patio and fire pit outside. I had the oatmeal stout which was pretty good and our bartender was super friendly. Note that they don’t serve food here - mentioning as there were several groups of people that came in looking for food.

Google
Friendly bar staff, medium sized taproom near restaurants and another brewpub. Hoppinheimer IPA was kinda flat and not really giving that IPA pine note.

Google
Our favorite brewery to visit! Excellent staff and always great brew selection. Back bar outside is beautiful and relaxing. Always guaranteed to see a couple of adorable dogs with some really friendly owners :)

Google
LOVED this brewery. They had live music on a Monday night, cute taster flights, delicious beer and friendly people. If I lived here I would be here a lot! My favorite part is that they are van/RV friendly and if you ask, they will let you park out back and stay the night. ❤️

Google
I usually don't like breweries located in strip malls very well but this place was great! They've developed the outdoor area to the north into a beautiful patio. The log furniture on the patio is interesting and unique. All the beers I tasted were phenomenal! They had just come out with a beer based around sake (the Nuevo Sake) that was so unique and delicious! Obviously they are not afraid to experiment. But their tried-and-true flagship IPA, the Hoppenheimer IPA, is very good for those who don't like to branch out.

Yelp
Great brews and great people! Even the grumpy dogs outside are happy once they get to know each other! Scientists making beer. What else can you ask for? Cheers!

Yelp
Great place, I honestly don't know why I don't spend more time here since it's not far from where I live in Española. Adam is making some really solid beers these days. Recently had a great English Mild, Oatmeal Stout, and their Sahti was fantastic. service is always great and the facility is comfortable with clean bathrooms. Amazing outdoor area to hang out in too.

Yelp
Great brewery in Los Alamos that is clearly a crowd pleaser. Beware they have very strong beers so if you're not careful you can be feeling pretty tipsy after 1 beer. Service is very fast, but if you show up later at night, it's possible you won't be able to find a seat unless you show up early with your group. Definitely worth a visit and a great place to catch up with friends.

Barb A.

Yelp
Visited from out of town recently. By far our favorite for beer and outdoor seating. Friendly service. Great food truck with delicious tacos. Very low key jazz trio that we loved!! Go if you can!! We will be back next year!

Yelp
This is a great small town brewery! It is pet friendly and friendly dogs do frequent the brewery. There is great indoor and outdoor seating. I love having a beer under the trees during the summer. Live music creates great ambiance along with the wonderful facility. Service is great and the staff is always a joy. There is not a kitchen; however, outside food is allowed. There are also food trucks at times. This little mountain town is lucky to have a place like this.

Yelp
Ended up here while passing through Los Alamos. Great dog friendly patio area and really good beer. Try the Hoppenheimer if you like IPAs. I'd have had more but its a long windy drive home so I had to stop at one. We did get some growlers to go and were able to enjoy their beer again later in the week.

Yelp
Been coming here for years and love both the people who work here and the beers. Selections rotate frequently, with some main staples like Hoppenheimer on the menu at all times. I'm personally a fan of the Belgian Trippel with its high alcohol and sweet flavors. The other reviewers comments about food are correct...Rigerbertos for Mexican, Time Out Pizza (or Dominos) and the food trucks are the best bet. Sushi and Chinese from Origami is also close and easy.

Yelp
This is a very good brewery in Los Alamos. The beer selection is limited but it is their own. When the weather permits they have an amazing outside seating area. Dog friendly and you are welcome to bring your own food.

Frances Y.

Yelp
Good beer, nice people, inviting patio and good vibes. The owner and every employee we met welcomed us and made us feel like family.

Yelp
After a long work week, we decided to stop by Bathtub Row since we saw that they are dog friendly on their large patio and having a local taco joint serve food beginning at 4:30pm on Friday. We showed up at 5:30-5:45ish and the place was packed! We could barely find a place to sit on the lawn, and by the time I got up to the cashier to order food, she told me they were running out of food. I gave her my number and was told I'd get a text letting me know whether I'd be able to order or not, but that text never got to me. After a couple beers, we had to head out since we were starving and they didn't have any bowls out with water for dogs. Despite those hiccups, this was a cool hang out spot and the beers were tasty! I really enjoyed my Hoppenheimer and will be back for another.

Yelp
This is the place to meet friends and just relax. The work on the outdoor patio and yard area has really been wonderful. Beer selection is very good, but there is food from other vendors only a couple of nights a week. Some grab some takeout from somewhere else in town and head over to the tub for an afternoon.
google avatar

Yelp
No food, so stop by the Smith's forBBQ Sammy or whatever makes you happy and carry it in. Biergarten is surrounded by parks and shaded by some nice trees. Service is polite and prompt. Beer is mostly hoppy and lower%'

Yelp
We are fortunate to have such a lovely local gathering place that serves great beer! They also have a number of outdoor events that help all of our hearts grow, like the recent fundraiser I attended raising.money for e/r blood clotting packs for Ukraine life-saving work. They represent the community in many important ways. I'd be remiss if I didn't also mention their outdoor seating area, the live music, and the beer of course!! Come here to meet the locals and enjoy a quality brew!! Did I mention Doug, their GM? Hard working, professional, invested, engaging .'Nuf said

Yelp
Bathtub Row Brewing has a great selection of beer and wine, and their ambiance is just what the doctor ordered if you're ready to kick-back and enjoy a libation or four ;-) You really can't go wrong with any of the beverages served here; they even have some cool bar snacks! That said, if you're hungry for something more substantial, check out El Roberto's Taco Shop - it's right next door and their food is really good :-)
google avatar

Yelp
Friendly beer coop with terrific service and cool ambiance! No food, but you are welcome to bring food in.

Yelp
A must stop next time I'm in town. Very knowledgeable staff and friendly vibes. Oh, the brews are awesome!!
google avatar

Yelp
Killer beers and a relaxed atmosphere. What more do you need? The staff are super friendly and so are the locals. We had several strangers come over just to say hi and tell us to have a nice visit. It was pretty cool. I'm an ipa drinker, but the brown ale was so good.
google avatar

Susan B.

Yelp
Always a good time at the "Tub" with great beer, great people, and a warm and friendly staff. Location and inside is great, but the outside patio and lawn are spectacular! The place to be in Los Alamos.

Jolene G.

Yelp
Great service, great beer, was nice to be able to bring food in and enjoy beverages and visit.
google avatar

Yelp
It's ok if you only want a Beer there is no food so if you're looking for a beer that's all you'll get!

Sarai L.

Yelp
This is the only Brewery in Los Alamos and it doesn't disappoint! They have only have two beers that are not their own and the rest are theirs. I had the IPA. Really good, mellow IPA. I also got to try the Stout, the Pale Ale, and the Brown. All of these beers are really good. Listen, me saying a Pale Ale is good is very rare. So take my advice. The atmosphere for a Saturday night was really mellow, but what is to be expected in Los Alamos? There were people of all ages from 6mo-60. We stayed a good two hours and the servers were very attentive and helpful. The bathrooms were clean and the place was setting up music around 6pm. Hint: 3 new beers will be hitting the keg soon, and one is a red! Hint 2: the Taco shop next door is bomb and perfect drinking food.

David C.

Yelp
Fun place and family friendly. The hop water is awesome for kids. Outdoor space is nice as well.

Yelp
I live in California and was in town for a conference. One of the things I really noticed was the crowd was very friendly. Most brewery crowds are, but people in this one came up and said hi out of the blue, maybe because it's a small town? I thought the beer was pretty good, not best in class, but definitely pleasant, easy to drink, and no complaints. Staff is very friendly.

Yelp
Dos and Don'ts Do - Do Order the Hoppenheimer. Do Bring your own food, (they are really liberal about this). Do Ask to sample each and every beer they brew up here. Do Enjoy their Nightlife, Almost a band every time I have been here. Don't - Don't complain about no food...the beer makes up for it. Don't mind the crowd, it does get busy...

Yelp
Great place. Good place to get away and have a good time. I highly recommend bathtub row. Kevin Bankens

Yelp
Ordered the Hoppenheimer IPA. It's nice, but lighter than I expected. No smell. Great for hot weather! Warning: doesn't serve food.
google avatar

Anne S.

Yelp
Best beer in Los. Excellent staff, great atmosphere. The Hoppenheimer is one of the only IPAs I will drink and the Little Bird Blonde is just one of the best brews I've ever had. Rotating taps mean you're always going to find something worth coming back for.

Yelp
I was surprised by Bathtub Row. The beer was legitimately good. Hats off to the Bathtub Brewers, you are true chemists. Didn't have the chance to taste all of the beers unfortunately, but the 3 I tasted were great. The Big House Belgo was a nice light beer with a slight hoppy taste, the Black Point Stout was smooth and creamy and chocolatey, and the Pink something-or-other (don't recall the name) was a wheat perfectly flavored with raspberry. The Pink one was my favorite, hence the picture. Wish I had taken more pictures, as the place, even though in a strip mall, was nicely done. Nice and simple with a slight southwestern feel. It's located in the heart of LA surrounded by scientific history. If you're spending some time in the LA area I recommend checking this place out.

Yelp
I love this place! For me it's about the customer service and the environment. Their beer is very good here! For my husband is about their beer and how nice everyone is. :) It's got great indoor and outdoor seating. The people that work there are just as friendly as you can be no matter who you run into! Everybody has great attitudes. You can bring your own food inside. You can bring your dog inside! I think this is one of those places I wish every city had a chance to have. But it is unique to Los Alamos. It's a must visit if you come here! The owners have no idea who I am... I just absolutely love this place :) so my gushing as 100% genuine.

Yelp
Yummy beers. New experimental ones every week. Casual atmosphere and very nice bartenders. They do in fact have food on weekend nights. Nothing fancy, but enough to keep you satiated. They are actually completely cool with bringing in pizza and rigoberto's Mexican food next door.
google avatar

Melissa G.

Yelp
Great little bar to get together with friends and have a drink. This place also has local bands playing on the weekend. Plenty of parking outside, but inside is small and quaint. Bathtub row does not have food, however there are a couple of places near by where you can chow down. I even saw some people with food from those places as well eating and enjoying some beer.

Yelp
My first time at a beer co-op and I think I'm a fan. This place is fairly new to Los Alamos (and the 2nd one in the country), so I came here with a few co-workers after a long day. When we walked in, I stood at the bar for probably 5 minutes before someone finally asked if I needed help. She was friendly, but it took longer than I thought was acceptable, but my colleague said that this was normal service here. The bartender was nice and let me taste a few beers before making my final decision. I opted for the Hoppenheimer IPA and it was very good and since I was in Los Alamos it seemed fitting to get a beer named after Oppenheimer. The area inside has a bar area and several tables, but it did get crowded. There is an outside patio area to the side of the building which is big and has tables and is nice when the weather is nice. I certainly enjoyed my first visit to a beer co-op and will definitely come back on my next visit to Los Alamos.

Yelp
A great atmosphere for hanging out with friends whether inside playing board games and listening to live music, or hanging out on the patio to talk. It gets very busy on Thursdays evenings, but that's also the best time to run into the town's most interesting folks. They're a co-op so you can get a discount if you become a member. You can also bring in takeout from the nearby restaurants. There's usually a good selection of brews with at least one IPA, one dark beer, one cider, and a mix of other beers. They also serve wine, and do growlers and cans to take home or just to the Friday night concerts at the pond.
google avatar

Krystal P.

Yelp
Although this town is small, there are a few "hidden" gems. One of them is this brewery. Coming from Austin, and Texas in general, there are many amazing micro breweries that I am accustomed to. Rahr/ Austin Beer Garden/Dep Ellum Brew co/ Martin House etc. While it seems to be that many (infrastructure)details need to be worked out, I think this Co Op is able to entertain this community. My wife purchased us a membership to the CoOp and we are now able to enjoy $7something growlers and & $4something beers. *Pro tip- go early. This is a hot spot in LA And seating is limited. (Wish we could afford a better servicing system)
google avatar

Victoria M.

Yelp
What is funny is that the bartender did something so cool, I dont want to share what is was! Let's just say over 5 star customer service today! If you live in town or are visiting, definitely spend some time on Bathtubs patio!!
google avatar

K. H.

Yelp
My favorite hometown brewery (and the only one). It is a small place so there are no more than six or eight beers to choose from at any given time. I can usually find one or two to match my tastes. Nice outdoor space for when the weather is nice.
google avatar

Carl W.

Yelp
Only place in Los Alamos to be. Great beer! Bring your own food and enjoy an awesome atmosphere.
google avatar

Steve B.

Yelp
Great beer great service... great music bands really like the venue and they treat musicians right... patio has a sweet fire pit for cooler nights ... they have a nice selection of non alcoholic beverages as well
google avatar

Dylan B.

Yelp
Only brewery in town, but these guys do a great job. Beers are always changing, always something new to try. They always have a few standards (IPA, Pale, Pils, etc), but they're constantly experimenting (farmhouse, sour, barrel aged, etc). Most beers are pretty good, a few can be great.
google avatar

Heffe L.

Yelp
I come here for the BEER! If you enjoy beer, Bathtub Row is the place in Los Alamos! This place serves up their own brews as well as other local/regional beers, all straight from the tap - no bottles here, unless you are not a beer drinker and would like a local hard apple cider or glass of wine. Not sure which beer to choose? Ask for a sample. And they have every thirst covered with four different glass sizes! Only a couple snack options, so bring your own food, After years of planning and fundraising the beer co-op is a wonderful addition to Los Alamos and has quickly become a local favorite based on the crowds most every night. A great place to meet up with some friends or make a few new ones.

Yelp
Great brewery in Los Alamos. Not only did they have great beer but they had just installed an outdoor fire pit when I showed up. Great beers. Outstanding people. If you're looking for a good spot to drink, check out the Bathtub Row Brewing Co-op!
google avatar

Yelp
We went to Bathtub Row Brewing with some friends. A new micro brew pub has replaced an old run down bar in the center of Los Alamos. The name is a historical reference to WWII Los Alamos Manhattan Project housing. A noisy crowd was there on Friday night. Conversation was frequently interrupted by their "stack the blocks" game falling over, "crash." Their blocks are foot long pieces of 2x4. Keep stacking until it falls. They aren't keeping up with demand for their beer. They were all out of Amber and IPA. That means everyone loves their beer and wants more. Their porters and specialty beer were all that was left. Good beer and a fun place has drawn crowds that overwhelm their production. I'm sure they will catch up but beer takes weeks to produce. If you are in Los Alamos hanging around give them a try Visited July 2016

Yelp
LOVE!!! LOVE!!! LOVE!!! I go here at least twice a month. Every time it gets better and better as they improve their outside seating area. They often have live music too. This is a great place with really tasty beer, a comfortable relaxed atmosphere and cool staff!

Kelly M.

Yelp
I'm glad Los Alamos has a place like this. Solid bar, I've enjoyed most of the brews I've tried. Occasionally they'll do theme nights (like playing 80s music videos on a loop). If there's no entertainment when you're there, they have a shelf of board games. There's also outdoor seating, which is a plus.
google avatar

Anna I.

Yelp
Visited and had a great time, staff was friendly and the beer was good! Loved the sample tub displays! Will defiantly come back!
google avatar

Dave D.

Yelp
Didn't know these guys existed until I saw them at the Mountain West Brewfest in Bernalillo. I haven't been to the brick and mortar yet, but may head up there soon. I tried two of their offerings at the brewfest, the Black Point Milk Stout and the Wit Rock witbier. Both were excellent! Thanks for coming down to Bernalillo!
google avatar

Juan F.

Yelp
Decent place stifled by the fucking ridiculous laws/status quo in this small town. I hope they expand their beers and include more food soon.

Ben J.

Yelp
Love this place! Great beer with an amazing patio. Been coming here for months but am finally writing a review because the music scene there is really picking up. This Saturday night they had a DJ playing great dance music. This was a welcome addition to the LA music "scene". More nights like that would be great! Love the hoppenheimer and wit rock. The tub is such an LA bright spot!

Yelp
Ok so we walked in on a Saturday at 4pm there were a lot of people but only one bartender. Needless to say we sat at the bar and after 25 minutes of no service we walked out. Could be a cool place but service is lousy.
