A nice, mostly secluded beach. The entry fee helps to keep the place clean - worth the few dollars. Secluded has its price, with only the beach bar as snack / drink options. There isn't anything within walking distance.

Batibou Beach is an easy five-star experience and was one of our favorite spots in Dominica. It feels wonderfully secluded and unspoiled, with soft sand, lush greenery, and calm, swimmable water that’s perfect for a relaxing dip. The drive from Portsmouth was a little nail-biting for sure, with steep drops and rough patches, so we highly recommend walking in from the main road unless you have a 4x4—the hike gives you some fantastic viewpoints of the beach and coastline along the way. Along the shore there’s a small bar and a little food place, which adds to the laid-back vibe without feeling overdeveloped. You do need to pay an entrance fee, but it’s well worth it for access to such a beautiful, quiet beach. The guy who collects the money is super helpful—he points out the best and safest place to swim and even reminds you to watch out for falling coconuts, which is both practical and a bit charming. Overall, Batibou Beach is a must-visit, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stunning, slightly off-the-beaten-path beach day.

Best place to swim on the whole island. Safe and secluded with plenty of beach to spread out. Bring a machete for fresh coconut water. They have a bar setup in the afternoons.

One of the prettiest beaches in Dominica. Very quiet. They charge you $5US, but it is well preserved and clean. The admissions booth also sells alcohol. Down the beach is a small restaurant, but was closed on the day we were there. Great place to come and chill. We walked from the main road. It's about 20 minutes. You can also drive but the road is very rocky

Pristine and incredibly beautiful beach! If you have a guide with a good Jeep, they’ll drive you right down to the beach. There’s a five dollar fee, but it’s totally worth it because of the way that the beach is maintained.

Beautiful, peaceful, serene bay with a lot of shade. There are seating benches and tables at the end, and the coconut trees create a picturesque ambiance. The drive down is treacherous for a car, so if you dont have a 4x4, best to walk to the bay. You will see lots of lizzards, great scenery. There is a meditation spot on your left, where you see a picture of Mary. You get to see some bay views from the Meditation Point as well, you have to go up a few steps. The security guard is friendly, he charges the small admission fee.

$5 USD pp is worth it for this clean beach. Gorgeous area with lots of shade. Fee collector was friendly. Bring everything you need as the restaurant/ refreshments may not be open. About halfway down the road there is water trickling down the mountain where we saw maybe a dozen hummingbirds flying around and drinking.
