How to be a sustainable traveller in Paris - SilverKris

"A popular Saturday organic market in the 17th arrondissement with over 50 stalls selling local produce—freshly pressed juices, ciders, seasonal fruits and vegetables, essential oils, flowers and more. It opens from 9am (arrive early to avoid crowds) and is noted in the text as having the famed Sacré-Cœur as its backdrop." - Hannah Ikin

Really great Marche / farmers market for a Saturday. There are tons of chess stalls and other to-go items. One guy was selling roasted chicken and potatoes, which looked good and had me weak in the knees. Worth stopping by if you're in the city on a Saturday.

Very nice organic store with a great selection of wines, cheeses and charcuterie. Staff are very helpful and speak English.

The best spot if you are into organic fresh food. It's a 100% organic farmers market with lots of farmers who grow their own vegetable and fruits. You find grass fed organic meat, a plethora of vegetable and fruits, fish, raw milk and dairies and more. Been here shopping for food almost every week for these last 15 years. It's super safe to get your food there. Just choose your farmers with caution, the cheapest is not always the best quality/money value and the most expensive is not always the best. Don't buy everything from the same farmer, vary. Depending on the season and on the weather their respective quality may vary. Une valeur sûre.

Love this place. The vendors are always so friendly. The produce quality is incredible. As my father said it is a gastronomic experience going to this market, but also more practically the prices are great and everyone so far I’ve bought from takes cards which makes it also that much easier.

Best market in town, 100% organic. I use to go to Les 3 B for fresh and tasty vegetables that you can choose by yourself. I also go to the Italian grocery, well furnished of real Italian food: fresh and dry pasta, parmesan, ricotta, olives, artichokes… But you can also find flowers, dresses, jewelries, meat and fish, and a lor of more stuff. Open on Sunday morning. A very similar market, with almost the same sellers, is open every Saturday morning in rue de Rennes, rive gauche.

Not cheap but really good products. First cheese shop in awesome, just in front of really good vegan shop. Near Rome station you can find really good traditional crepes

Good choice of fresh products of good quality. Very expensive though in comparison with other open markets.

It makes a pleasant trip out, but I do think the whole organic thing is a bit too expensive. But God bless them for trying hard to provide for their families.
