Batik Boutique Hotel

Amazing location, central! Continuous water bottles refill, early check-in possible, nice staff, good ambience. Loved it. The only thing I did not like was the noise from the street as there is a bar right next to it but I don't think that's something the hotel could influence. Can't comment on breakfast as I never made it within the given hours :) nice one. Would stay again.

Nice place, good central position, furnished with taste, clean, huge bathroom, staff is helpful and nice. Breakfast good, although quite limited choice. Downside: price quite high compared to surroundings. We were given a room without window. Also, at night some continuous noise (probably the main building's air conditioning system was a bit disturbing).

This place is great, close enough to the city and far enough away from the rubbish. Very clean room, bathroom, comfortable bed, nice bar and brilliant staff. The hotel is a safe place to stay, only accessible via room key. Helped me organise many excursions, contact them for advise!

Great location. Lovely reception staff. Good breakfast. Dirty room - pile of hair in middle of room. Shower room grungy. Safe didn’t work. Replacement safe didn’t work. No hot water. Adequate for a nights stay.

This is a very homely Hotel. Very welcoming with a traditional drink. This hotel is so convenient cos' it near to tourist area and food places and shopping. When we want to buy Kueh Lapis, they drove to the special place to buy it before sending us to the airport. Very personalize service and very helpful in intro us to the best place to eat and visit. Highly recommended hotel and super value for money.

A quirky, stylish hotel with wonderfully helpful staff who greeted us with a cold glass of tuak (delicious rice wine) and "batik cake". Breakfast is western-style only but there are plenty of places nearby for local food. Room could benefit from a little refurbishment but was clean and well equipped, though the bed was slightly too firm for my liking.

Just like coming home, except you don't have to cook or clean! - Well located in walking distance to the waterfront, clubs, restaurants, shopping, and shuttle vans - Great big bathtub (some rooms), Rare in Asia - Staff involved in community outreach, often taking trips into the country. While I stayed I was invited along to a stage show, a trek to Bako National Park, to Semengoh to see orangatans, and a hike to a waterfall. - Staff very familiar with local nature preserves, with personal experience - A part of cultural experiences. I was given Chinese moon cake with a personalized note explaining the holiday - Huge rooms - Authentic spirits available in the hotel bar

It has a very cosy atmosphere where you can truly relax and enjoy your stay. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Their food is also delicious as well.
