Batik Boutique - The Row

batik boutique is one of my go-to places whenever i visit chow kit. besides the items, the packaging itself feels really premium, so i always buy them as gifts for my family and friends, especially those from overseas. it’s only a 2–3 minutes walk from the train station, a few hotels, and on the same row as several restaurants too. worth a visit!!!

We had a great experience at the batik workshop! Our teacher/guide was very helpful and knowledgeable, gave us many tips on our batik designs and shared a lot of history on how the batik came to Malaysia as well. Highly recommend to both Malaysians and visitors who would like to immerse themselves in the culture, plus you get to make and keep your own unique souvenir 💫

My dad wanted a real batik shirt, so I found this place after googling and sent him there on his own. Went with him this time, and enjoyed the service. Naim was really friendly and there was zero sales pressure Just wish there were more long sleeve shirt options for women, maybe in a darker color/simpler design? I would have loved to get a top but there were only a couple of colors in a pattern that resembles animal print

attended their warehouse sale and was blown away by the selection and prices. Everything was clearly marked, and the staff helped me find what I was looking for. It was busy, but the lines moved fast. Definitely worth checking out if they have another one

I did the batik course with some colleagues at work. We had lots of time to explore the different tools you can use to create your designs. Nana was very informative and patient. I'm so happy with my final design that I get to take home! Highly recommend!
