Batonka Guest Lodge

What a gorgeous lodge to stay in. It was beautifully decorated with photos and figures of animals decorating the dining area and outdoor walls plus the most gorgeous circular headlight glass featuring Zimbawe's national flower, the flame Lilly. There was a choice of two swimming pools and outdoor areas. The rooms were extremely spacious with everything I required supplied. Reception is available to book extra tours and has a wonderful shop to take a tasteful momento home. The staff were amazing and the food exquisite. I only wished I could stay longer. Highly recommended.

It’s a lovely place. We had a nice welcome and our bags were taken to the room. The room was really nice but the garden view wasn’t quite what I had imagined. Just looking into a small lawn and a wall. Also the outside chairs were not comfortable to sit on. |A few issues with the room but these were rectified quickly. Nice big shower and comfy bed. |The communal areas are lovely. There’s a great well stocked bar beside the outside restaurant. Unfortunately for us it was really cold. Unusual for this part of the world. |A lovely hotel all round.

We had an really nice 3-day stay here. VERY helpful front desk (concierge). Lovely grounds with a pool and a veranda. Attractive lobby / lounge. Excellent breakfast. Quiet street - A short ride (or long walk) to shopping and the Falls. Well appointed room with a patio.

Had an excellent stay here while in Victoria Falls. Good location, clean and spacious room. We had an adjoining room as our son was next door, which was very handy. ||||Breakfast and lunch was great. We didn’t eat dinner but judging by breakfast and lunch would expect this to be great too. ||||All the staff were lovely and very helpful. Overall, would definitely recommend and had a great stay here.

We recently spent 2 nights at the start of our travels at Batonka Guest Lodge. What a beautiful relaxing and serene property and the perfect start before our mobile safari. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and we could have had a party in our bathroom it was that large. The property is beautifully maintained and the staff are extremely welcoming. We ate at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and the meals were delicious with a menu that changed daily.

We had a lovely stay at the guest house at the end of our tour. The staff were really helpful with booking taxis and activities. The food was great; our room was comfortable and quiet; the shower room was huge. The garden area was lovely, quiet and restful and visited by hadaba isis in the morning.

Our stay here was most enjoyable! The staff was so helpful and friendly. We were particulary impressed with Bheki who was our waiter for a few meals. The front desk staff was also great in booking activities that were really fascinating!

I stayed at Batonka Guest Lodge for a couple of nights and had a really lovely experience. The grounds are beautifully maintained and offer a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast each morning was delicious, with a great variety and quality. What really stood out, though, was the staff—every single person we encountered was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. A wonderful place to stay, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return!
