Batonka Guest Lodge

The lodge was quaint and close to the town. It was very private and felt safe. The room was clean and tidy. The staff was wonderful and caring. We had great interactions with Louis and Tendo from the front desk. All the restaurant staff was friendly and attentive. Shout out to Bheki who was very caring and made sure we were comfortable and everything was to our satisfaction. And the Guest room staff was fantastic and took good care of us and our room. It was fantastic to be treated like family when you are so far from home!

A truly magical stay! The staff: INCREDIBLE! Norman, BK, Sharmaine, Brian, Wisdom and so many more made mine and my dad’s trip so special and memorable and have been some of the best staff we’ve encountered in our many travel stays. Could not recommend this Victoria falls lodge more! The grounds of the resort, the food and rooms have been 10/10. I will 10000% be back!! ♥️

We had a fabulous stay at Batonka, everything was top class. Special shout out to Lloyd & Bheki who couldn't have done more for us during our stay. Food was amazing, so close to Victoria Falls too. Property is perfect.

A quiet and comfortable lodge off the main road thru Victoria Falls. The room was spacious and comfortable with all the standard amenities. The staff was competent and very friendly. The food was solid - albeit a little pricey. The restaurant is a very comfortable space. The location is about a mile or more from the other restaurants and tourist destinations in Victoria Falls - which may not be an issue for everyone but should be understood.

After a first visit in 2017 with a positive experience we went back to Batonka at the end of 2024 ahead and after our safari trips to Hwange and Chobe National Park respecitively. The nice lodge showed to be as pleasant as we remembered it. It is like a green and calm oasis with friendly service and very good food.

The visit to the wonderful Victoria Falls was enriched by the excellent stay spent at the Batonka Hotel. The property has a beautiful, well-kept garden and swimming pool. Everything was perfect: very spacious and elegantly furnished room and bathroom; I was also able to enjoy an excellent dinner and breakfast on the outdoor veranda. I was welcomed by very competent staff and I thank everyone for their kindness and helpfulness.

An oasis in the middle of very busy Victoria Falls. Quality and service are spot on and nothing is a problem.||Have enjoyed the meals and there's plenty of options. Also, enjoying a cold drink sitting on the large veranda on a hot afternoon is a memorable experience.

Batonka Guest Lodge was simply amazing. Every area from the rooms to the catering and all in between were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for their Beautiful Staff. It was so relaxing and an oasis in the heart of busy Victoria Falls, ZA
