We had a wonderful and delicious brunch!! The honey hot crisp chicken sandwich with garlic Parmesan truffle fries wasssss SPECTACULAR!!! 🔥🔥The Lamb Chops, eggs over easy, potatoes, and side of brioche biscotti French toast wassssss PHENOMENAL!! The flight of mimosas were sooo delicious!! The server, Glen was an AWESOME ASSET TO THE COMPANY!!🔥🙌🏽🤩

Jelena and Glenn were outstanding. Jelena was definitely patient and professional with everyone in my large party. She took the time to explain our bill and made our dining experience wonderful. Glenn was a hoot. He was not our server but was polite and friendly to all of us. Yesica also very sweet and helpful. It was an amazing experience and I will be back soon!!!

Great place to come for breakfast, brunch, or lunch! I had the loaded brisket omelette that was really good. My husband had the brisket skillet he said was also really good. The loaded hash brown waffles are a great appetizer. The French toast with the berry mascarpone topping was delicious. Rosa our waitress was very helpful, sweet, and checked in with us frequently. I would enjoy coming back soon!

I visited this past Monday which was a holiday, they were very busy but the food was so good I imagine it’s that way everyday. So please expect to wait. Everyone was great. The hostess was nice, our waiter Glenn was great, personable and professional , both of the owners even checked on us as well as another waitress. Music was great, bathroom was clean, space didn’t feel crowded. The sound of conversation and laughter made the atmosphere even better. I ordered the Chicago style chicken and waffles with a side of potatoes and a blueberry lavender mimosa. 10000/10! Shout out to the cooks because everything was perfect! Hot and fresh. Even the water was crisp and refreshing. Again please expect to wait for food as well but it’s WORTH IT. They’re an hour away from me and I’ll gladly make the drive to try more items on the menu.

Jelena was amazing. She recommended delicious flavors for the mimosas flight. Was very accommodating for a solo party of 1. I would recommend absolutely. I got the smashed avocado toast and the sweet heat candied bacon and walnuts. If possible ask for Jelena, but everyone seems so sweet.

Warning first: Gratuity is AUTOMATIC for EVERY TABLE. 5 or less: 15%, 6 or more: 20% That said…they earn every penny! The food was AMAZING! Our table of 6 had Titi’s Signature Plate, French toast, waffles, chicken, grits, potatoes, and TWO mimosa flight!! Yassss! All super yummy! Service was FABULOUS! Jelina was very sweet, knowledgeable, and warm. Also on the floor today: Glen, all personality and smiles. A discrepancy with the bill was handled smoothly and clearly. Thanks to the management! My organization and I had an amazing experience at Batters & Brunch! We came in as a group of five with no reservation and were seated within 30 minutes, which already set the tone for a great visit. I ordered the mimosa flight and hands down… the best mimosas I’ve ever had, literally. I also had the French toast with berry bliss topped with chicken, and WOW. The French toast was the best French toast I’ve ever eaten, and the chicken was perfectly crispy. Somebody’s auntie is definitely throwing down in that kitchen. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Our server Jelena was incredible. Super kind, patient, and attentive. She gave great recommendations and answered all of our questions without hesitation, which made the experience even better. Every member of my organization left very happy and we’re already talking about coming back. If you’re looking for great food, great drinks, and even better service, Batters & Brunch is the place. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and came out just right. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. I’m giving the atmosphere a 9/10 only because I chose to sit outside and it was pretty cold, plus the wait time outside was noticeably longer than inside. If you’re going, I’d recommend grabbing a seat indoors when it’s chilly. Overall though great spot, great vibes, and I’ll definitely be back! 🍳🥞

My husband and I randomly visited this place this morning, and were pleasantly surprised! If you're looking for one of the best brunch experiences in North Houston, Batters & Brunch is it! The atmosphere was lively, welcoming, and exactly what you want for a brunch spot. The space has a great energy--stylish but still relaxed enough to settle in and enjoy a long meal and conversation with your family. If you want drinks, just be mindful of the 10am time in the city on Sundays. The food was outstanding. Everything we ordered was sooooo good and beautifully presented. The menu has a great mix of sweet and savory options, and you can tell they put real thought into the quality of ingredients and the creativity of the dishes. Our waiter, Glen, was fantastic. He was attentive, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the menu. Glen made excellent recommendations, and checked in at just the right moments without ever being intrusive. Overall, Batters & Brunch is AMAZING!! Great food, great vibe, and top-notch service from Glen made it a memorable experience. I'll absolutely be back--and I'll be hoping to land in Glen's section again. Highly recommend if you're looking for a brunch spot in houston. Recommendations: 1. Chicken and waffles, 2. Shrimp and grits Parking: Plenty of parking Wait time: We went sort of early, so there was no wait for us. However, there was definitely a small line forming by the time we left. I got the Chicago style chicken and waffles and was able to get boneless chicken which was seasoned pretty well, and the waffle reminded me of waffle House, IYKYK. They do have a drink menu with a surplus of mimosas and even a mimosa flight. I tried their cinnamon pear? And that was pretty good, though I wish it would've been a little bit stronger. The service was pretty good. Our waiter was super attentive in the to be honest was pretty cozy, this is a mom and Pop establishment and it's demonstrated pretty well

We visit Batters & Brunch often, and we truly enjoy ourselves every single time. This time was not any different! The atmosphere is inviting, upbeat, and perfect for a relaxed brunch. The service here is always was gentle, attentive, and incredibly welcoming. They make sure everything is just right without ever being overbearing. Service like that really makes a difference. The food is always so delicious... I had the chicken and waffles. They are the BEST! You can tell the owners have poured their heart into this place. They have created something special... a space where the food is good, the service is warm, and you genuinely feel appreciated as a guest. We'll definitely continue coming back.

Long wait (1.5hrs), service was minimal, and food was basic. We rushed to order because we had our toddler with us and we immediately asked for our check after receiving our food because we didn't know when we would see our server next. The person who waited on us wasn't supposed to be our server, but we sat there for awhile without being greeted or asked for drinks.

Stopped by Batters & Brunch for my first Goals Brunch event and it ended up being a really chill experience. Because of the cold weather, it wasn't packed at all, which honestly worked in our favor since we had space to enjoy ourselves and actually talk without feeling rushed. We tried a few of their drinks including the vanilla chai latte, hot chocolate, and the passion fruit & mango bubble tea with lychee boba. The drinks were definitely a highlight for me and probably my favorite part of the visit. Food-wise, we started with the hash brown loaded fries and beignets, which were both good. For my entree, I had the chicken and French toast with hot honey. My guests ordered the shredded chicken skillet, grits, mac and cheese, potatoes, crispy chicken and stacks, and pancakes. Everything looked good and the chicken dishes seemed to be the most popular at the table. Overall, the food was solid but not anything I'd rave about. The chicken stood out the most and had the best flavor. Shout out to Yessica for the great customer service she was attentive, friendly, and made sure our group was taken care of the entire time. I'd recommend Batters & Brunch if you're looking for a relaxed brunch spot with good drinks and friendly service. It's a nice place to catch up with friends without all the weekend chaos.

Food was great! Atmosphere great. Service was slow and our meals all came out at different times. I can attest that this place is always busy!

Came to Batters & Brunch Sunday around 9ish. There was already a good crowd but it was only two of us and we were seated (inside) immediately. Batters & Brunch is a family-run, scratch kitchen, breakfast, brunch, lunch restaurant that closes at 3:30pm during the week at 4pm. They have an R&B playlist. Jelena was our server and she was amazing -- knowledgeable, kind, and attentive. We did a mimosa flight (cucumber, grapefruit and rosemary, pear and cinnamon, plus rose and rosemary). We tried Titi's Plate and the brisket skillet! DELICIOUS! The service was great! It's a quaint restaurant with tasty food. It's a wonderful addition to this area. I'd return again for breakfast or brunch.

First off besides the wait this place was fire the menu overly big like you really need a moment big (pause) but it's not just good select the stuff the chef creates is truly good come hungry the portions are large and really enjoy this place before it really become popular! Don't sleep on this it's a must try !

Had an appointment in the area so googled breakfast near me and this place popped up. Photos looked good so decided to check out the menu. There are some nice selections and the fact they had chicken sausage as a breakfast meat option was plus. So I decided to go and check them out. Upon entering the place is nicely designed, simple but elegant. I was greeted and seated immediately upon entering but to longer than I'd like to put in my order which is part of the reason i was going to give a 3 star. Food was prepared just as ordered. My grits were SO dam good which is the reason my review remained a 4 star. Pancakes were average and the chicken sausage was good BUT not the same as advertised on their website (pictures Links not patties) and was the second part of my initial 3 star review but the grits deserved a star by themselves. Will definitely go again.

The food was decent and the service was ok. It's worth a try on a less busy day. The ambiance is lackluster it's an open concept with tables. Your not going her for the look but the food.

Update on my recent visit: Damn, the service is bad when it's packed. My wait was one hour. Once we were seated we waited about 8-10 minutes before someone came to take our drink order. If it's packed, I don't recommend you go the service will suck. This is my first time coming when it was this busy. On the upside, the food is great. Our waiter greeted us, and the first thing he said was, "Are we ready to order everything all together?" He repeated it and wanted both of us to order everything at once. To me, this was rude after waiting a hour this is the first thing said not cool I hadn't even gotten my drink yet, and he was already rushing us to order food. First time I've experienced that. He also didn't check in on our table much, and I noticed everyone seemed overwhelmed. Even when I asked someone else for napkins, they forgot. I asked our waiter for water twice, and he forgot both times. Another thing I don't agree with is the 15% automatic tip now . What do they do if the service was just bad? Anyway, food is great (see photos). Ambiance: loud. Highly recommend come enjoy when it's not packed the service will probably be better

Food - 7/10: Pretty average. Flavors were okay, but they ran out of biscuits by 11AM major brunch foul. Environment - 7/10: Cute, clean, and modern inside -- definitely Instagram-worthy. But it gets packed fast, so be ready to wait. Service - 6/10: Staff was friendly but a little all over the place. One of our orders didn't even get put in but they did try to fix it. Drinks - 5/10: Nothing special and way overpriced for what you get. Houston has better brunch cocktails for less. Overall: 6.25/10 It's giving "good, not great." Batters & Brunch looks the part, but they've got some work to do before it's worth the hype.

The food was good and hot!!! The waitress and waiter were helpful and very on point. I came for lunch but the have brunch all day. I only have one complaint it's that they don't have cornbread. It's hard to eat cabbage without cornbread.

Me and a couple of old buddies decided to try this place. Went on a weekday morning so it wasn't overly busy. The environment was great and mature. The service was quite attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. My friend ordered a mimosa flight to share. I never order mimosas because they are mostly low quality. Not the case at all here...they were unique and had a great taste. All of the food was very good. The coffee was a bit pricey but tasted great. They are aware of the concerns with wait times when busy and are aggressively trying to improve in that area. Keep in mind that most restaurants struggle during very busy times. This place is worth a try and I am going back this week!

This meal was nothing short of spectacular. FIRST OFF the chicken is very seasoned and fried to perfection. The waffle is lowkey the the best I've ever had cooked so perfectly soft but a good little crunch and the syrup they use is very good as well. Get the lobster tail on your Mac n cheese the lobster tail was a great addition to the meal yams were amazing and cheese grits were great too needed just a little bit salt and pepper. All in all great and not to forget ask for Jadine she was amazing and had great service. You will leave full asl just a warning. 5 stars

This is so amazing. Very nice welcome in and nicely scheduling our table. We were told 50 minutes but got seated in about 25 minutes. Our server Alaiyah was so great. She took our order correctly and checked in on us a few times. I ordered Steak & Eggs. It comes with potatoes and biscuit, I suggested if I could get grits and croissant instead and server nicely switched it with no extra charge. It took a while to get my order but it was just fine because they freshly cooked the steak well done and it was so delicious, very tasteful and not dry but well done. The grits was in a perfect side bowl. It's creamy and so good texture that I like. The eggs were scrambled just as I expected, good. I also got Cold Vanilla Chi Latte and yes so good. My friend got friend Wings and waffle. The wings were so good we were all so excited that it was not salty it was delicious. I like the waffles they are thinner than I've ever had and taste so good. My other friend got Cabbage, potatoes and mac and cheese. I didn't taste it but she said it was all so good the best was the cabbage. The inside is nice and a bit small but nice and tables on the patio. We spoke to the manager to let him know that we were so impressed with the service and the delicious food. Loved it and plan to take my Auntie there next month for her birthday. Give them a try!

Went to Batters & Brunch in Humble and hands down one of the best brunches I've ever had. The food is off the chain and that cabbage will make you slap your neighbor. I aint a cabbage eater but damn they changed my mind. I stopped in mid week for brunch, it actually had a nice size crowd which says a lot for during work hours. Service was great. The food was good especially the chicken. It seasoned very well. Drinks was subpar but it served its purpose. It was my first visit but not my last

Finally visited Batters and Brunch for the first time! What a treat! When we arrived the wait wasn't long at all, maybe 10 minutes? Once we seated, of course, I usually always opt for the Chicken n Waffles (it's probably the Cali in me!) and these did not disappoint! Chicken was well seasoned, juicy, tender and piping hot. My friend had the potatoes, eggs and bacon which she enjoyed as well. The lady who served us, unfortunately I forgot her name, was very nice and was patient with us. We didn't feel rushed to order and were happy we were able to enjoy our meal while catching up. In all, this is a restaurant I would def visit again for a meal!

I can't forget to post about this awesome brunch i went to this weekend. It was a 45 minute drive to Humble, TX. We got there and it was a hour wait (they don't take reservations). I would usually never wait a hour anywhere but the 45 minute drive made me rethink it. So we waited. And it was worth the wait! We had the beniets and they were amazing. I got the brisket omlet..very good. We also got the Titos which was chicken and three sides- cabbage and double mac. It was supposed to be yams, but the sir sadly doesn't eat them. But I heard they were great! Also, that waffle was cinnamon greatness. So I would definitely make that 45 minute drive again but earlier so I don't have the long wait!

The vibe was great, it's small for the crowd they have, we waited a while, to me the food was a 6/10 The hostesses were good, I think the prices were kinda steep and the auto gratuity is a no go, we experienced the restaurant, I think that's good enough, wonderful staff

We came here on a Sunday morning, arriving just before 10 am and wow, was that the right call. From then on there was a steady stream of groups arriving to eat keeping every table full. Despite the restaurant being full, the service was still quick and great. We both ordered the shredded chicken skillet and my companion also ordered a side stack of the lemon blueberry pancakes. The skillet was great - well seasoned, there was a considerable amount of meat and it didn't feel as if they loaded the skillet with potatoes. I would have enjoyed it more if it was slightly juicier - I felt like I needed the salsa they brought to the table to make it not as dry, but it was still good. I wasn't as hungry that morning so I had enough for leftovers the next day and it reheated well. I was able to take a bite of the pancakes and they were sweet but not overwhelming. It was a good combination and if there was syrup, I didn't taste it much but it was something I'd try again - likely not two, but just one. We didn't order any drinks, just water but I appreciated the branding on the bottle - check the photos. This is a great addition to this area for brunch - I think it offers something different from the places across the highway and it feels more local -even if it is Chicago-inspired. Check it out if you can.

This place was poppin' even on an early Wednesday morning. Every table was full, but not necessarily a long wait. Maybe 5-10 minutes I was sat from walking in the door. The place is beautiful on the inside. The music was like it came directly from my playlist. It was my first time so I came alone not thinking it would have been such a great vibe. I definitely we invite people next time to enjoy the place. Service 10/10, my waitress, Jelena, was great and so helpful with mimosa recommendations, but all the girls were kind and checking in on the guests. Food was absolutely delicious and looking around the restaurant most people finished their plates. I love a good avocado toast. Thank you BnB!

This place is very cozy, and clean. The food was decent, can't complain. The drinks are great, lots of choices! But the star of the show was definitely our server Glen. He was attentive, nice & made great suggestions! I appreciate him and the other workers for making our experience great.

There wait was 45 mins because we came about 1:30pm. It's small on the inside but still has walking space plus outside seating. Our waitress was very very delayed and we had to ask for someone to bring water and take our orders. Other waitresses had to serve us. She gave us the wrong orders to take home. That was only bad experience. The restroom was very clean and smelled good, very pretty decor as well. The food was absolutely outstanding! Fresh, hot, nice presentation, perfectly cooked and served. They did let us know the dishes were too hot for us to hold. I would definitely go back but at an earlier time. The food, atmosphere, decor, cleanliness and pricing mashed you want to come back!

Me and my friend stumbled across this restaurant while looking on Yelp for a brunch spot. The reviews were great so we decided to give it a try. The place is small and it was really crowded. There was no more seating inside so we were seated on the patio. They have plenty of umbrellas to protect against the glare of the sun but unfortunately the Houston humidity made the heat quite unbearable. Given this, it was torture when the mimosa I ordered was never delivered. I asked about the drink twice with my waitress and she kept blaming it on the bartender. Needless to say, it was never received and was removed from the bill. I was given ice water as a replacement. I ordered the boneless chicken and waffles. My friend ordered Elijah's Croissant Sandwich with a side of potatoes. We waited quite some time for our meal to arrive. The food was decent but not as exceptional as I expected based on the reviews. I would try a different brunch spot if I returned to the area, especially due to the incident with the drink. It was way too hot not to receive the drink I'd ordered and having to request it be removed from the bill since our waitress was still making false promises to deliver it halfway through our meal. I honestly think she accidentally delivered it to another table and the bartender refused to remake the drink as I saw her come out with the same drink and thought it was for me but she passed us and delivered it to another table along with their food. Could be coincidence but I don't think so.

I love the food, is first class and people is nice and kind, we had been in this place few times and also invited friends to eat a good brunch!

My daughter and I ate breakfast there yesterday for the first time. We were disappointed because after waiting for more than 30 minutes the food was cold. I mentioned it to the server and she just said "Sorry." I had to stop the server to ask for refills on coffee and extra napkins. Maybe the servers should check in on the tables they were tending to. The biscuits were huge and the coffee was hot. They also served a strawberry jam that was delicious. The decor that hung on one wall was nice. For breakfast, I thought they were a bit overpriced as well. Sorry I couldn't give you a better review Batters and Brunch. Gina DH

We've been wanting to try this place since it opened. Made our way there on Friday! Absolutely amazing experience! The ambiance was inviting. The food was delicious! Our waitress (Elle) was extremely attentive, offered suggestions and checked on us regularly! She's definitely an asset to the team! We started off with beignets. They were so light and fluffy. My only recommendation is offering a dipping sauce with them. We ordered the mimosas flight! All of them were delicious. Definitely recommend if you want a variety. I had the Mushroom Skillet & he had the Loaded Beef Brisket Skillet.

The place is on the small side. We went for Sunday brunch and it was a long wait. Our waitress did the best she could but you could tell all the waiters were overwhelmed. I felt like the food was overpriced. Hubby ordered Chicago styled chicken with a waffle. I ordered the brisket egg skillet. The waffle was delicious has a taste of cinnamon sugar in the batter. My skillet was good the only thing I didn't like was that the peppers weren't finely chopped. When our food arrived, we had to ask for silverware twice and pepper/salt. I think that if it was already on the table prior to sitting down it would be make the service better and then you're not having to chase down the waitress.

The food was incredible here but unfortunately everything else fell short. The wait time for our food and drinks was unacceptable and then when we finally got our food, we realize we were never given napkins or utensils. They gave us jalepeño Mac n cheese when we asked for it plain. There was also no tissue paper in the bathroom and it was really small inside of the restaurant in general.

Chicken and waffles were hot and fresh, very tasty. Mimosa flight should be shared (giggles)! Waitress, Elle was nice and attentive. The ambiance was calm, relaxing. I feel like if I were on my laptop working, this would be a good vibe. I visited on a Friday morning around 830am and it wasn't too busy. More people started coming in around 9am. I would like to try some other items one day.

Solely leaving this review for constructive feedback. We've tried to eat here on numerous occasions and the wait was for an hour and 30. However today it was an hour wait so we decided to wait. Once we were sat we were greeted promptly by our server. She was very polite and attentive once we got our food. The food took an hour to get to us and it was hot! That was a great thing! However the flavor wasn't really there and it felt like everything needed salt. The amount of food you get isn't a lot for the price. The food looked better than it tasted. I think overall new systems could replace the current systems to help turn tables faster. However the kitchen plays a big part. The menu was pretty overwhelming and I wouldn't mind if the choices were narrowed down. Probably would help the kitchen speed up their delivery. I think operations is the reason why things are so slow. The portion size compared to price doesn't align. The seating was uncomfortable and you can't sit back in the chairs. I feel that creating a more comfortable atmosphere and vibe would help smooth over the long wait. Perhaps offer free biscuits or some type of entertainment for the long wait times. The atmosphere was pretty bland, especially the decor.

Food was great but service was terrible. Thankfully a young girl who only been there three days was trying to help us out since our waitress was basically non existent. Be prepared to wait. It's a small restaurant but the food is really good. Wouldn't even attempt to come with a large group

If you are unable to poach an egg, it might be best not to have 4 different eggs benedict options on your menu.

Food was OK Was seated quickly,ordered food and waited over an hour for our food,and when we received orders were incorrect. Establishment is small. Server were very friendly and helpful.

First visit early morning. Place was very busy and the waiter did inform us that it was a new cook in the kitchen. Place is always crowded for sure. I'll wait and try them again once th dust settles.

Excellent food and service. Drinks were awesome. The restaurant is small and cozy, so I suggest the earlier you go the better.

The food is good but sometimes the service is a little slow. I love the grits. The eggs Benedict was decent. I've also had the biscuits and gravy but the gravy was salty. The ambiance is very cute inside and they have outside seating as well.

Ima start with 10/10!!! From the ambiance to the food, to the service! Everything was amazing. We went on a Monday morning so we bypassed the 2 hour wait that everyone mentioned. We waited maybe about 15 mins for our food. But it was worth the wait. The Food definitely had that from scratch taste. You can tell everything is freshly prepared. I had lemon blueberry pancakes, they were delicious. The chicken wings were seasoned perfectly as well. Marc had the beef brisket breakfast bowl, he said it was really good as well. I also had an iced latte mocha, which had me glued from the first sip. We also met one of the owners Jeremiah, we wanted to pitch a partnership with him and the conversation quickly turned into a cool vibe. He's really down to earth. He cares about his Customers and Employees. The bad thing is that this place is literally 2 mins from our house, so they'll be taking all of our money lol. But I cannot say 1 bad things about this restaurant. Give it a try, you won't regret it.

Food was amazing and definitely worth the wait. However, it was a very long wait. We were a party of 6 and waited almost 2 hours. Nevertheless once we were seated, both food and drinks were timely. Nice restaurant in general but small, hence the reason for the wait. We decided to sit on the patio since there was a table and it was a nice day. I will be back but not on a weekend.
