Wow, what an experience! Battleview Orchards is huge — we came on a Saturday and it was packed with families enjoying the day. As others have mentioned, bags (including diaper bags) aren’t allowed inside, and there’s visible security around the area, which helps keep things organized. The best part? There’s no parking or entrance fee! You simply grab a bucket when you enter and start picking. The “U-Pick” apple experience is such a joy — there’s something so satisfying about plucking fresh apples straight from the trees. The apples were $1.79 per pound, and it’s easy to fill up your bucket quickly. This is a perfect place to spend time with family, take photos, and enjoy the outdoors. They also have a U-Pick pumpkin patch with all sizes available, which adds to the fun. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be coming back next season! 🍎🎃

It was this Florida boy’s first time apple picking, and Battleview Orchards was so welcoming from the time we picked up our buckets until weigh in! We came for the honey crisps and it looked like it had been picked through at first, but we ended up finding quite a few gems hanging about and were able to fill our 5 gallon bucket without a problem! They had apples of all different sizes on the tree. Next we stopped into the country store, and boy were we blown away with all of the pies, jams, seasoning, ciders, etc. we ended up getting the apple cider donuts, apple cider, and some apple pie roasted pecans. I think you see a theme there, we were really excited for all the fall theming here! I’ll still give my 5 stars, but I just wish they would let you have a few beers here.

We go here every year for apple and pumpkin picking but we especially love the apple cider donuts and apple cider drinks. The kids love it. It’s a tradition.

I recently visited Battleview Orchards and had an amazing time. The orchard offers a variety of pick-your-own options depending on the season, from apples to pumpkins, peaches, and more. The apple-picking experience, in particular, was delightful—rows of well-maintained trees, plenty of juicy apples to choose from, and a picturesque setting perfect for photos. The farm store is also a must-visit. They carry delicious homemade treats, like fresh apple cider donuts (a must-try), pies, jams, and a great selection of local produce. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, providing tips on the best picking spots and seasonal items. Plus, the prices are quite reasonable, making it a fantastic family-friendly outing.

The farm’s pick-your-own experience is great — there are three kinds of peaches and three kinds of apples. It’s a perfect place to go fruit picking. My favorite is the yellow peach.

Apple picking !! It was fun. Worth a day trip. Enjoyed a nice sunny stroll while working hard. ..that is picking apple.

We had a fantastic experience coming here for apple picking. Upon entering, you will be given a spacious bucket to collect the apples you pick. There's a pumpkin patch in the middle and with apples trees on either side. There were about 5-6 varieties of apples that were ripe for picking when we came here in late September. Because there was a slight drizzle on the day we went, the place was nearly empty and we almost had the entire place to ourselves. In terms of pricing, they charge $1.89/lb and there's no entrance fee for entering. This is honestly one of the best values out of the other apple picking places that I've been to.

Battleview is a super cute place to pick apples. The apple orchards are extensive and they have a ton of variety. There is also a cute little pumpkin patch. Don't expect too many other farm activities though - this is mostly about the apple picking. There is also an incredible farm store with SO many baked goodies and other grocery items like cheese, produce, spreads and jams, etc. I had the most refreshing apple cider slushie during my last visit! Some logistical stuff -- parking by the orchards is plentiful. You aren't allowed to bring a bag in to prevent any theft. There are also port-a-potties in the parking lot. Apples and pumpkins are pay by the pound and prices are fair. You'll have to drive to the farm store from the orchards and parking there can be a bit more limited. Definitely a great option for U-pick apples. You do sacrifice some of those other farm activities like hayrides and mazes, animals, etc. The other option in town seems to be Happy Day, and cover there is like $30 bucks. For no cover and not a crazy crowd this definitely fit the bill.

Had a fun time here. Love their variety of baked goods in their store. They have a fresh hot apple cider donuts for $1.25 each or prepackaged donuts in the store. I bought their apple pie, salsa, and cookies. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend those hot donuts. We also went to the farm to do some apple picking. There was a good variety of apples. No fee to get in, 1.89 per pd of apples! Would love to go back for their fresh goodies!

One of my favorite places to go Apple picking. We didn't go this year but we absolutely went to get some Apple cider donuts! Lines are usually long but move quick, don't fret-it's worth the wait! The donuts will melt in your mouth. Definitely recommend but even if you can't visit the farm and pick fruit, you must go to the store and pick up some donuts.

Lovely place with so much to do! Had a great time walking through the hundreds of beautiful apple trees, picking apples, roaming the pumpkin patch & going on a hay ride. The place is beautiful with a lively atmosphere and looks beautiful during the fall. It's a great place to come with family and friends. Theres also warm apple cider donuts, hot cider, and tasty churros! All service was quick and convenient. Got 10 apples for $8 (cost is determined by weight) which is good especially as that includes the apple picking experience too!

Great selection of items in the store. Love their eclairs they're humongous. Also the pies are great, love they have great mixture of sweet and savory treats.

This is a family run quaint country store that offers you homemade, delicious pies of many assortments along with cookies and bread. They offer a wide variety of homegrown fruits and vegetables that are simple sweet, tasty and very comforting. They offer many assortments of seasonal favorites and have many different sections of tastings. They are always willing to accommodate and everything is very clean. A visit you must and you won't be disappointed.

Best place to pick up apples, peaches, nectarines, and pumpkins, I love the fact that the farm is family owned and has been properly maintained, I also love the country store and they have everything you ever need... Update, don't forget to go to the country store, where they have Apple Cider Donuts, fresh fruits, baked goods, etc, they are open all year around and closed on Tuesdays...

One of our favorite apple and pumpkin picking orchards! BRING CASH! $$$$- only accepting cash!! The long line for the warm freshly baked apple cider donuts! Totally worth the wait! Apple cider- hot, cold or slushy!! Lovely afternoon with family apple and pumpkin picking! Plenty of parking! Highly recommend!!

My family comes here every year. We absolutely love the fresh, warm cinnamon donuts, hot apple cider, apple picking, and pumpkin patch. Pro tip: get there early so you don't have to wait in a long line for donuts!

Came here for peach picking on a Sunday. Come early to avoid the crowds. Cash only for fruit picking so bring cash. $1.89/pound for peaches. They give you a bucket and paper bag to put your peaches in. We got a full bucket which came out to about 24 lbs so about $45. In the peach fields, they have yellow and white peaches and nectarines. Plenty of peach trees and even with the crowds, it wasn't like we were on top of each other.

A very nice orchard with no picking fee, which is great. The only negative is their bag policy. On the website it says no reusable bags, and then before entering this sign states other kinds of bags that are not allowed. There is also a box that your bag has to fit in to enter. I had a tote bag as my purse (which does fit in the box) and they would not let me bring it in. It's not the biggest deal, but it is definitely inconvenient given that none of their signs or websites mention no tote bags. Very well priced though!

I don't like giving low reviews, especially for local businesses because I can assume how difficult it is to run and maintain a small business. However, I just did not have a great experience during my latest visit to Battleview Orchards. This was my second time to this location. I don't recall if I enjoyed it the first time around, but I do remember that when I ate their apple cider donuts, I thought to myself that I liked the donuts at Delicious Orchards better. And for this instance, I actually was trying to go to Delicious Orchards for some apple cider donuts but I went on a Monday not realizing that they were closed on Mondays. So I used Yelp to find a nearby orchard with good ratings because I needed to fix my apple cider donut crave. I found Battleview and the name sounded familiar, so I chanced coming here again. I walked in and was not greeted by anyone, nor did any of the employees offer to assist me. It was actually quite the very opposite. I happened to walk towards to employees because they were restocking or fixing the inventory of the items I was headed towards. As if I had some type of employee-repellant on me, they walked away as I neared them. They did not greet me, nor did they offer me any assistance. So I helped myself to some donuts and apple pie and I walked towards the checkout lines. I can't recall if the cashier greeted me but I do remember that after I paid, she turned her back to me and started talking to her coworker about subjects that weren't work-related. I purchased 4 bags of donuts and a box of apple pie, and the cashier didn't even offer a reusable bag to purchase. She just rang me up, took my payment, and turned around and ignored my presence after that - didn't thank me for my purchase nor to have a good rest of my day. I left thinking I would not return to this place again. I ate the donuts and they were dry, and they confirmed my recollection, that Delicious Orchards has better donuts. I ate the apple pie and that was pretty decent. I think the pie was the only redeeming quality of this place. Too bad I will never return again to try anything else. I do think it's unfair that employees have to be extra hospitable to customers when working in a small business versus a chain, but that extra kindness in a small business makes a huge impact for returning customers. And after one bad experience, you've lost a customer for life.

Even though it's not apple picking season..... even though there are no fruit or vegetable orchards to traverse......we still enjoyed our stop at Battleview Orchards. The company store is stocked with everything imaginable. I purchased Lemon Krunch & Pumpkin Pies and they are DELICIOUS. The cashier was telling me, that from Easter until Christmas, the orchard is so packed, that parking is difficult..... and they have a lot of parking spaces. Don't hesitate to stop by Battleview Orchards, now. You will be surprised with their items and will leave satisfied.

9/28/22: We were visiting the Sunflower Festival. Afterwards, We stopped in Battleview Orchards. Battleview Orchards had wonderful looking produce. The tomatoes looked beautiful! We bought a couple. The Jersey tomatoes were sooo flavorful! We were thrilled, because it's difficult to find good tomatoes anymore. Can't wait to go back to purchase more tomatoes and other items. The entire store is very clean. The cashiers were very friendly. A large parking lot is available.

Go here if you enjoy overcrowded and expensive experiences. There are so many amazing places in the area that don't have a piece of garbage for an owner too.

If you want pesticide covered apples and to drive back and forth from orchard to country store this is the place for you. Half the trees for apple picking were completely closed off full of apples. No green apples in site. No peaches even though the website and Facebook said they had them. The line to get in the store was ridiculous and they charge $3 per bag in the country store. No paper bags. You either buy a bag or hand carry your stuff. We were so bored we left and went to another farm a few miles away and had a blast. I don't know how anyone can recommend this place. The only good thing are the donuts.

Pies are amazing! Had the apple and peach.. both delicious. Apple coder doughnut balls were equally tasty.They also had a chocolate cream pie near register in the refrigerated section that looked delicious, and it was Def worth a trip for the baked good alone

While on vacation in New Jersey I thought it would be a nice trip to pick some apples. My experience started by listening to the rudest lady I've ever heard scolding me for standing in the wrong spot while waiting to get in. The apples were kinda mushy and there were rats running around everywhere. Definitely not what I was expecting. Do better!

I came here with some friends in October for apple picking. There was plenty to choose from. I think they could've done better with labeling the sections because it was a little confusing. We went to the store after which was my favorite part. The line for the apple cider donuts was insane but totally worth it! The donuts were delicious. We also tried the apple cider, I'm not a huge fan but it was a nice option they had. The store literally had everything you could imagine. I bought a pumpkin pie. The pie was amazing! They also had mums outside of the store for sale. I suggest arriving early because there's a lot of traffic to get into the farm. There's no entrance fee which was a plus.

Battleview Orchards has it all... apple picking, pumpkin picking or some hot apple cider donuts. We didn't do any actual picking, but did visit the store and strolled through the apple orchards. It's beautiful, picturesque and peaceful. The store has lots of item. Some of which are actually made there and many which are not. There is even a hot donut window, which had already closed on the day we went. I found the prices on the pies (14.99 to be a little high, but other items seemed reasonable. We bought some fresh cider, donuts and fritters. The apple cider donuts and apple fritters were awesome. We popped them in the microwave for 10 seconds when we got home. Oh my goodness so good!!

My first visit to Battleview Orchards and I loved everything about it. The view is picturesque at the orchard. My granddaughter loved the pumpkin patch and apple picking. She's almost three and this was her first experience at an orchard. I loved shopping the store, purchased some goodies to take home. The hot apple cider donuts didn't quite make it back to NY lol. I definitely have to come back next year for strawberry picking.

Had visited last month for pumpkin picking. Once we got closer to the orchard, it was really traffic right by the country store. We had turned into one of their orchard areas and found parking in their grassy lot with plenty of spaces. We had walked towards the entrance way and there was an employee that was checking bags as they have limitations on bags that are allowed. They had some buckets and paperbags for those picking apples and there were pumpkins of all sizes right when you walk in. We didn't go apple picking this time but be mindful of what you pick as you pay for what you pick. I walked through a sea of pumpkins in search of my pumpkins and ended up picking up 4 pumpkins. We walked to the pay stations and you pay for the pumpkins by the pound at about $0.79/pound. Altogether I paid about $23 for all my pumpkins which was not bad at all. Please note, this place is cash only for the apple and pumpkin picking. And it is very family friendly and have a fun hay ride as well! I of course had to stop by for the fresh apple cider donuts! They were soooo good and you get them hot and fresh! You literally cannot eat just one. They also sell pies and cider and other baked goods. I will definitely come back again once next year for peach and cherry picking!

The store has the most unpleasant - non friendly employees I've ever come across. They totally ignore you. The young ladies at the registers need to learn how to smile and treat customers nicely. But they are all too busy on their cell phones to take a few minutes and learn. The only pleasant employee is the young man at the bakery counter. The quality of the baked goods isn't as good as it was several years ago, so why do I bother to go there? I guess it's back to Delicious Orchards for me.

The Apple cider donuts are terrible! There are barely any pumpkins to pick and barely any apples left on the trees they are all smashed!

Parking was an absolute nightmare. We sat in traffic for 30 minutes waiting to get into the parking lot. There was no organization with parking/entrances, they should have employees letting cars in and out to help with traffic. Was also told I couldn't bring in a diaper bag. I understand people might steal apples but the way the way they go about it is the issue. The front gate employee had a massive attitude, told me she didn't care about the contents of what was in my bag and not to "waste her time explaining" and to go put it in the car. If that's the case they should have signs at the parking lot entrance so you don't have to walk all the way back to your car to put your bags away. Horrible customer service, would not recommend for a good Apple/pumpkin picking experience.

What a nice orchard! My family and I went on the Sunday of Labor Day Weekend. It's never too early to go apple picking, as long as they have them! It was actually the perfect time to go because they had the apples (ginger gold, jonamac, gala, and honey crisp) and they also had late season peaches and nectarines. We got there at around 10:30 and there were some people there picking already. Definitely go early because when we left around 11:30/12ish, it was starting to get more crowded. There is no entrance fee or parking fee, which was amazing and probably one of the only ones I found in the area that didn't have the extra fees. You just pay for what you pick and it's $1.69/lb, which was really cheap (cash only). They provide buckets but if you plan on picking a lot, I would recommend bringing a hand cart or wagon or something. Unfortunately, Hurricane Ida happened the week before so a lot of the apples were on the ground already but there were still plenty to pick. They say to call them after 4 pm the day before you want to go just to double check that everything hasn't been picked. There's also a bakery down the road where you can get freshly made pastries like apple pie, apple cider donuts (although they didn't have apple cider yet), and lots of other things. They also sell fresh produce, fresh mozzarella, hot sauces, spices, basically all local products. That parking lot is a bit messy though because everyone wants to go there. But if you wait a few minutes, you'll get a spot since people don't spend long there. We only wanted to do apple-picking and wanted to avoid the fall crowds, which is why we came so early in the season. But if you're looking for the full fall experience, like hayrides, pumpkins, apple cider, October would probably be better for you.

Our family has been going to Battleview Orchids for over 20 years and supporting local business until today. Everything at the country store was great as always, then we went apple/pumpkin picking over two hours and we had a great time making memories. When we went to pay the bag ripped and more then half of my apples hit the ground. The girl that was helping us felt extremely bad and was trying to fix the situation. originally she said if you want that half we can give them to you or charge half instead of having to go pick more apples. Then this older lady who was taking customers money and has no sense of business and respects no one and treat customers like we are pieces of shit. "says we don't give anything for free, you either take it or leave it" not liking that answer we told her that she's wrong for treating customers that way her response was " you don't have to come back here" which honestly I won't and I will make sure everyone I know doesn't as well. She didn't have a name tag which honestly they should make everyone wear one but she was in the second lot on the left when you leave the country store. she was the first attendant at the entrance wears glasses and has messed up teeth. this lady should never talk to customer family or not she is bad for business especially a "CASH business"

If you have little kids leave them home if they require diaper changes or drinks/ formula because you can't bring a bag in

Love coming here for fall apple and pumpkin picking festivities! Everyone was so friendly. The young staff members were very enthusiastic and helpful. I love they have apple picker poles for rent to help reach the apples. It does get busy so I would recommend arriving early at around opening hours. Also the ground does get dewy so wear waterproof shoes (my husband had soggy socks hah!). The farm store is a little further than the apple/pumpkin picking area so its easiest to drive there. The cider and apple cider donut lines were really long but they moved along very efficiently. The store itself is filled with tons of fun goodies, produce, baked goods, and more. Overall my favorite apple picking farm and farm store!

Took a family trip out here for some apple picking and pictures with the pumpkins. Personally I hadn't been apple picking in forever, but Battleview reminded me of everything that I used to love about it. I'm so happy that we were able to share this experience with our son, and we hope to be able to do this every year moving forward. Despite being a weekend that we went, the orchard and pumpkin patch didn't feel crowded. There were plenty of trees to pick from, and the apples were all simply amazing. For my pumpkin-loving little guy, he was in heaven. So many pumpkins to touch and sit on. I have no clue what the overall prices are like compared to other orchards, but there's no fee to park or walk around the grounds, just post for what you pick. We didn't visit there store, but maybe we can do that on our next visit.

I don't like leaving bad reviews, but sometimes it's necessary to show the truth of a place. The owners are cruel, uncaring, and display terrible customer service. This is a far cry from the apple orchard I used to visit as a kid. I expected to find the same level of family-friendly wholesomeness I remember at the one from my childhood (not the same one), because I'd come to expect apple orchards to be synonymous with a good experience. Oh, how wrong I was. Instead, I found a place painfully lacking in every area. I got hit with hostile vibes right from the front gate from people who clearly are only in it for the money. The moment they turned hostile, I left before I even got started. I didn't get as far as getting a bucket, because being around that hurt so much. I'm someone who hates confrontation. There was no way I was staying around that, especially since I was already under a lot of stress and went to try to de-stress. If they didn't see me, good. They won't ever. I had a much, much better time digging for crystals. You'd think mine owners would be more mean, but nope. Turns out it's these orchard owners. I don't know if everyone - including the nasty customers - were having a mass collective bad day, but I walked away with the feeling of being punched for no reason. If you want to go apple picking, find another orchard. There are plenty out there that are run by better people who understand the value of kindness, and deserve your business. Do not go to Battleview Orchards.

Honestly if the food and pies were not as good as they are I would never come back here even as a lifelong resident of freehold. Staff is totally rude leave you standing outside waiting to enter past the opening time posted, ignore you in store when you have a question most non helpful staff I've ever encountered it's very sad almost as if they know their stuff is that good that there's no need for customer service or to even be nice or pleasant.

I want strawberry picking with my husband. We went on a Tuesday. It was fairly empty but nice because they were enough people to share the experience with. The strawberries were ripe and delicious. The price was just right. Then we went over to their country store. Of course we had to get the donuts. The Apple cider donuts are the best. We got some fresh jams and we couldn't resist some pies. Definitely a place you could bring the kids or you could just go on a date.

Lovely spot! Judging by the number of cars parked in the strawberry picking area I knew we were in for a treat when we got to the store. The strawberries are terrific! We bought four quarts, and ate one driving in the car! (Well, I do have a detail scheduled next week . . .). Two bunches of local (not theirs, though) of asparagus, a Dutch apple pie, and two blueberry scones rounded out our shopping cart. I'm looking forward to the pie with my morning coffee, and making a frittata with the asparagus Sunday! Ultra friendly staff, ample parking too. Worth a detour for sure.

Farms, this time a year are nice for me. This year I have the time. There are a couple of farms in this area as we know. This one has been around for many years, but this is my first. Very crowded as expected on this holiday weekend. I had a yen for peaches, so I checked the various places that you could pick your own and came up with Battleview Orchards. Picking was more fun than going in their store and selecting from their baskets. As you can see from my pix, there are some ground rules you must follow, as expected. Porto johns, ample parking, family oriented. Do not bring your pets. Social distancing was well adhered to.

Y'all know I don't do well in these places! I WANT EVERYTHING I SEE lol! Apple apple apple everything!!! I'm glad I ventured out here to experience a new farm. Wasn't TRULY able to go apple picking this year and I'm bummed about that :-'( But atleast you can go to the big-little country stores and grab what you missed grabbing from the trees! Annnnd you can get fresh apple cider and fresh cider donuts....all a fall staple in my house! So many goodies, the staff was so very nice, very polite and accommodating welcoming respectful, great business to go out of your way for, very much appreciated during these weird times And owners, if you happen to read this review, Thank You... Great spot for apple picking and pumpkins. We came on a Sunday afternoon, and although the parking lot seemed pretty crowded, the orchard and pumpkin patch were so large that we never really felt that close to other people. There was no entrance fee (I think they only have one for strawberries in the summer), so you just pay for what you pick, making this a really affordable option for fall fun. The apples we brought home were fantastic. They also have a store, but we didn't check it out on our visit. Very glad we went, and would definitely return here in any season.

I go to Battleview Ochards multiple times a year for their berries, peaches, and apples. I was disappointed the most recent time I went due to the lack of social distancing and mask wearing enforcements. Most of the people were not wearing masks and I did not feel particularly safe. However, the staff (mostly teenagers) are very nice and work through long lines quickly. I also love the hot apple cider donuts at the store ($1 each). The 25 minute line to buy them on a Sunday afternoon is definitely worth it.

Staff was not the nicest. My boyfriend and i went to pumpkin pick and first went to the little store up the road. staff there was super sweet no issues with them and you can tell its a family run business. then headed up the road to the pumpkin patch. got there and werent sure if we wanted to buy any apples or just walk around for pictures. we headed over to the apple picking area and one of the workers behind us says "Are you here to apple pick?" and we didnt realize he was speaking to us which then lead him to saying "i know you know im talking to you" which we in fact did not but turned around once he said that. then we went on our way and walked around and when we were finished gave them back the bucket because we werent planning on buying any of the apples, not for nothing we didnt even touch any we just took a few pictures and left, and the lady who we gave the bucket back to said it was weird we just went back there and didnt buy any, implying we went back there to eat them and leave. people dont always buy the pumpkins or the apples, its nice to go and just take pictures. and again there werent even fresh apples to choose from they were all smooshed on the ground so even if we planned on buying any, this was not the place to go. staff was super weird and wasnt a great selection of apples or pumpkins.

This is my go-to spot when I visit the northeast in the fall. I absolutely love their cider donuts and all of the treasures you can find in their store. On my most recent trip the weekend after Halloween, I was disappointed that the apple picking season was over. I had looked on the website prior to my visit and must have just missed that detail. But when this place is in its full glory (Sept/Oct) it's wonderful to do the hayride, pumpkin picking, etc.

Good tomatoes and baked goods however we will not be coming back. The staff was rude. I'll take my business elsewhere.

Pro tip: Go early! We arrived about 10 minutes before they opened at 9am and had to wait a bit. Circled around and they were letting people in, so we probably parked around 8:55am. By the time we left at around 10:30am, the parking lot was PACKED. The orchards are pretty big though, so we never felt crowded even around the time we left. There was a large variety of apples to pick from - we were able to grab a bunch of apples for our planned pie and then some. They also have pumpkin picking - priced by the pound - near the entrance. All the pumpkins looked really good. Sometimes you go pumpkin picking and they leave out some truly janky looking ones. Staff were all very nice. I do wish they had better labeling of the apples. At some point, we couldn't tell if we were in a field of Fuji's or something else. I'm not an apple connoisseur, so I have no idea what apples are what based entirely on appearance. We stopped by the marketplace down the road after we finished up apple picking and brought a gallon of apple cider, fresh apple cider doughnuts, and some smaller pumpkins and gourds. Everything was reasonably priced - but I do wish their apple cider was in a larger cup. I'd rather pay double the price for a larger drink!

It isn't officially fall unless you go apple picking while also getting apple cider & apple cider donuts! I came here a few weeks ago with my friends and family on a weekend but unfortunately apple picking closed super early but luckily we were still able to go the market and get the most important thing - donuts and cider. The donuts were amazing, tbh probably the best one I've had so far - it is super fresh, warm and only $1 each! Once we got the warm donuts, we went straight to the cider line and man, what a great combo together. Pure heaven and happiness. I got a dozen donuts, but don't worry I didn't eat it all, I brought some home for the family. Donuts were great reheated (I use my waffle maker to reheat haha, it makes it nice and crispy). While reheating at home, you can definitely tell its more deep fried than other apple cider donut places but that explains why its so good. The lines are pretty long but it moves quick. Don't let the crowds scare you ;)

No more apple picking for the season! We went today and were disappointed! Also, hot apple cider donuts are only available Saturdays and Sundays from 9-12. When we showed up at 1:30 pm, there were only fresh room temperature donuts, but I bought a bag because they looked freshly baked. Best cider donuts I've ever tasted. Very fresh. The market also sold lots of other treats and I would have liked to shop some more, but we were in a hurry to find another apple orchard with pick your own apples, so we quickly left, but not before picking up an apple pocket and cheese horseshoe. Both were ok when I tasted them later. The apple cider donuts are the things to get here if you eat them right away, but the baked goods are all delicious! Note that Melick Orchards still has plenty of Fuji left, see my review for that place. According to Battleview's website, which I should have checked, their Fuji crop was light this year. Always call ahead before you show up!

This was a cute orchard we brought the kids to. $1.69 for a lb of apples you pick and forgot prices for pumpkins. The kids were able to walk/run throughout the orchard. Signs were posted letting you know the type of apples that were available and where they were. The store is not at the same location as the orchard. It is up the street but they do not suggest parking and walking as the sidewalk is very limited and it is dangerous. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was packed. Parking was not that bad as they have attendants directing people to park, however when it was time to go leaving the location was a problem. No assistance with trying to get the vehicles out. Everyone was complaining of service in the area as it was pretty non-existent.
