Terrible experience. My request was completely ignored, the toilet was filthy upon arrival, the bedsheet had yellow stains, and the telephone was dirty. Service was below average. Not worth the price at all.
The only good points: great view from the room, the facilities were almost complete.

I booked this resort to celebrate my friend’s birthday and was extremely disappointed. It was a headache from the moment we arrived. This was supposed to be a relaxing and special day for me too, but it ended up leaving me with nothing but frustration and disappointment.
I had clearly requested a birthday setup during the booking process (bed, maybe bathtub, even mentioned I’d be happy to pay extra), followed up with a message (which was read but ignored), and even sent an email and still no reply until after check-in. I assumed they had passed it on to housekeeping thought it was a simple request. Turns out, nothing was done. At check-in, they acted like it was my fault for not receiving confirmation? How would I confirm anything if no one replied? After going back and forth, they finally admitted it was their mistake. But it shouldn’t take that much effort just to be heard. In the end, they only managed to provide a complimentary birthday cake, which was a nice gesture.
Because the birthday request was missed, the flower bath setup couldn’t be done before check-in. They offered it in the evening instead, which already killed the surprise. I asked for 6pm. But the staff completely ruined the surprise. Before we got to the room, the male receptionist discreetly handed me a receipt with the flower bath charge. But a few seconds later, a female receptionist handed the same receipt right in front of my friend, she read and questioned it. Surprise gone. That’s just careless and unprofessional.
The female receptionist honestly needs a lot more training, not just for that mistake, but overall. She barely smiled, seemed unsure of her role, and didn’t leave a good impression.
Another issue, the toilet was disgusting, literally had poop stains when we arrived. I immediately called and asked for it to be cleaned and for the hand wash to be refilled (it was empty from the start). When we returned later, the soap was filled, but the toilet hadn’t been touched! It was still exactly the same! I called again, and we went out for hours. Came back late, and it was still dirty… only partially cleaned. Honestly, that’s just unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one at this price.
To make things worse, bath water was already half gone when we returned. And when I saw the flower bath, I was speechless…it looked like a messy pile of petals thrown for a funeral, with no shape, no effort, no romance. They initially wanted to charge me Rp580,000 for that, which was ridiculous. But after I complained during checkout, they waived the charge.
But overall? This resort completely failed to deliver the experience we expected. It ruined what was supposed to be a special and relaxing celebration. I hope they take this seriously and make real improvements. Such a shame, the place itself is lovely.
