"Take a Soothing Soak in Batur's Hot Springs The hot springs at Mount Batur are rich in minerals and said to heal rheumatism, muscle pain and stiffness, fatigue, and even to enhance fertility. Even if you don't have any such complaints, soaking in these pools and looking out over the lake is wonderfully relaxing. Your muscles will certainly thank you for stopping for a post Mount Batur trek or bicycle tour soak. These are public pools, so on public holidays they are usually extremely busy and not quite so relaxing as when they are less crowded. There is a simple restaurant with eating platforms by the pools, but you can also bring snacks and drinks with you. Getting to the hot springs takes about two hours from Kuta in a car, so it's really a full day tour if you want to have time to relax, eat, and take in the beauty of Kintamani."

The hot springs at Mount Batur had a great first impression. The pools were nice, the water was beautiful, and the view was amazing. That said, once you pay for your ticket it feels a bit like a maze. There aren’t many signs, and it’s confusing to find your way around. The biggest downside for me was the number of flies, which made it hard to relax. The ladies’ shower room was also in poor condition. It wasn’t very clean, and the towels were kept outside, which was inconvenient. Some of the staff were friendly and helpful, but others struggled with communication and even gave the wrong directions when I asked about finding another pool. Overall, it’s a beautiful spot with a lot of potential, but the facilities and organization need improvement.

Batur Natural Hot Springs offers a beautiful setting with stunning views over the lake and mountains 🌋💦 – the perfect spot to relax after a Mount Batur hike. The pools are warm and soothing, and the surrounding nature is just breathtaking 🌿✨. That said, the facilities could use a bit more care and maintenance 🛠, as some areas feel slightly worn. Still, a lovely experience overall and worth visiting for the scenery alone 🙌🌊.

Like stepping into a hot bath - mmm - different pools some with fountains, the views are amazing of the caldera. The water is clear, we were there on a quietish day (probably due to the weather on the day). There are shallower pools and slides for kids (& adults). They also provide you with a fresh towel (which smelt laundered) and you get a locker all in the cost. I would recommend wearing flip flops in the showers. Nice enough and good if you are in the area, but it was a heck of a drive along some sketchy Bali roads .

I thought this was an excellent facility that was well maintained. The whole design was aesthetically pleasing and the all areas were kept clean & tidy with a lovely view over Lake Batur. The only negative was the flies, esp when you are trying to relax on a sunbed. There were literally thousands, it was a huge nuisance. I also thought 200 rupiah seemed a lot, although they did supply a towel & drink.

The bath is hotwater, with different temperatures. 200k entrance fee, you get a towel, a locler and a welcome drink. You can ask for a bodypart massage just at the pool. The view to the lake is beautiful!

We accidentally stumbled across this place, the entry fee includes towel, locker and a welcome drink. The flies are annoying for sure, but they are more around the pools than in them. I loved the hottest pool and spent most my time there, it was busy but not overly so. I had really been missing a hot soak so this was perfect for us. There is s restaurant on site…. and many opportunities for massages if you want one. Would be amazing after a hike, or in our case, several hours on a scooter 🤣

A hot spring with a scenic view, the water in the different pools has different temperatures and depth, and it will be great if the temperature and depth can be labelled for safety reasons. The only negative feedback I have is the entry fees of 200k with a towel and drink is on a high side and will discourage return visitors.

Gorgeous lake, fresh air, natural hot spring water all excellent. Main spring area was clean but the bathrooms stank (clearly plumbing problems and lack of maintenance). Lots of mosquitos in the bathrooms too so wouldn't want to spend long in there. Besides that, ticket price was 250k per adult and 150k for my 4 year old (other places grant free access to a child that young). Each ticket gets you a free bottle of water and a towel + locker. Lockers are very old and wouldn't take too much to break into, however all mostly viewable from the springs so you can keep an eye on your stuff. We got ours as pay off a tour package with the Sheraton hotel but after looking across and seeing alternatives with slides and higher quality spring pools I'd recommend shopping around before deciding. Food is available but we didn't try it.
