This is where the locals flock on Thursdays and Sundays to buy fresh groceries, flowers and enjoy a chat over a meal. The culinary desires of the market’s visitors are catered to throughout the day, and the delicious regional, national and international delicacies on offer will delight any foodie’s taste buds." - Bureau Mitte

A lovely morning market with lots of trucks selling vegetables, traditional German food, pastries, and drinks. It's easily accessible from the train. Crowds start forming at about 10.30am. I had the Rindswurst and Grilled Pork Steak and both were great-tasting, with their hotness perfect for the cold weather. Apple wine with elderflower was great too. Do walk around the whole market first as it's pretty small - before deciding on where to eat. Prices are on the low side!

Stunning food and produce market with queues of locals lining up to get their hands on the top quality goods. So many delicacies in offer that it was hard not to buy or try everything. Welcome warmth during winter to escape the cold of the outdoors and it was also no where as busy as the Christmas markets

An absolute MUST when in Frankfurt! I just happened to be in Frankfurt on a Saturday and discovered this gem. It’s only open in Thursday’s and Saturday’s. It’s like a cross between a farmers market and a food festival. Everything here was so fresh and delicious. Everyone said to try the Apple wine but I personally didn’t find it that amazing since it was quite sour. Definitely come here on an empty stomach since there are so many amazing different foods to try!

Weekend’s farmers market takes place on every Thursday and Saturday. You can buy bio- vegetables and fruits there. I buy a lot of apples. There are some booths with Wein, Apfelwein, Beer and fresh prepared snacks. My favorite local Wein is Riesling. Very tasty. In the Autumn there is a time of Federweißer - young sweet Wein. Grilled sausage with ketchup and mustard is also what I like to buy usually - not that expensive. There are plenty of other tasty food for different preferences there. Highly recommend to visit with family, friends and colleagues.

A farmer market which is only opened on Thu and Sat. I’m here on Thu, so not a lot of stalls. I think there should be more things on Sat. All the goods look super fresh until I wanna buy everything back (but realisticly, I can’t). There are also a few good German wine stalls here and it’s super cheap!

Good selection of florist, vege and meat. But not an attraction for tourist. Maybe if you are walking from zeil too far it is worth a visit. Try the fish sandwich. Its good.

Love this farm market!! Where you can have all kinds of sausage/Schnitzel/Porkchop and so on. Besides that, there r several wine stand there for you to taste their collection. Besides wine, you can have fresh Apfelwein which you can have a glass or even fill in ur water bottle! Don't miss the place, if you are seeking a local food and beverage!!
