Came here for the first time yesterday and really wanted to love the place. It was very nice and cozy inside. Our waitress was also amazing. She was so nice and helpful, and very accommodating. The food however left a lot to be desired. The chicken all had an odd taste, it’s hard to describe but one person described it as tasting like it was soaked in bleach, I attributed it to possibly a fryer that needed clean. Either way out of 4 of us, only 1 person liked the chicken (the baby lol.) The fries were pretty good. The Mac and cheese was also good. Everyone loved the mozzarella sticks and the free rolls. I’m sure you could come here for something other than the chicken and be very happy. The ice cream bar also looked good, but we didn’t get a chance to try it.

I still love this place. I haven't been here in years as I don't live nearby anymore, but came here to eat all the time growing up. Had a home inspection for a client around the corner, decided to stop in for breakfast, and it's exactly the same as I remember. Love that this still exists--no shortage of hometown folks having a good meal, everyone saying please and thank you, polite attentive friendly servers, country style cooking, and reasonable prices. Was like stepping back in time because it still looked exactly the same, and had the same counter stools, ice cream case, the pie selection that changes daily, and of course the attached market and orchard. A true regional gem.

I am currently taking care of my grandmother (on hospice) who will be turning 101 years of age next month. She and her son (my uncle) have been regular customers at this location for decades (nearly 30 years). She was upset the first time she ordered but refuses to stop contributing towards the restaurant, simply because she is familiar with them and associates many good memories with the Baughers' family name. Now, the second time, she was upset enough to ask me to call for her to complain about her order. Since it was not only her, but also my uncle who agreed the to the same issue, I decided it was within enough reason to help her with her endeavor. I put the call on speaker and observed the interaction, serving as an objective party. Without bias, I can testify to how poorly the customer service and lack of compassion is when a regular customer is presented (One of which who has been a strong advocate for this establishment throughout the duration of their longterm relationship). She was asked to call back tomorrow where she is supposed to speak directly with the owner. Normally, with her age and her condition, the entire situation might elude her memory.... But because I now also agree that her frustration is justifiable, I will be assisting her in finishing whats been started to ultimately act as an unbiased witness who can compose an honest and valid testimony, to how this restaurant responds in relationship to its loyal customers. I will be updating this review accordingly, relative to the upcoming events.

Google
Old time family run restaurant. The family grows and makes their own fresh fruit products. Their desserts are to die for. They have specials every day, but walk ins only. The place is packed breakfast-lunch-dinner time so you may have to wait. I try to get there ahead of the rush;-). I’ve found no more than 20 or 30 minute wait at the most, and there is lots to see at the fresh produce section outside. I’ve been going there since my dad introduced it to me 60 years ago when we ate breakfast while going fishing together. Kids seem to like it for their hot pie with Icecream on top. Old kids like me go for that too;-) If you’re in the area and don’t stop to eat, it will be your loss:-(

The waitress was decent and polite, and the cashier who helped me was very nice. I’m only giving the food a 2 because the fudge I had for dessert was delicious. Everything else left a lot to be desired. I probably should have known better than to order turkey and gravy and fries in a restaurant where most of the clientele were elderly. I actually got two sides with my dish, and the other side was hush puppies. They didn’t taste fresh, but they had by far the most flavor out of every part of the entree I tasted. I already knew the stuffing would taste bad when I smelled it. So I didn’t eat it. The turkey was dry, and the gravy had no seasoning whatsoever. The fries were soggy and limp and also had no seasoning. Dipping them in ketchup at least made them edible. Everything tasted like it had been made at least two weeks ago and then frozen and reheated. I didn’t try the free bread because the depressing turkey and gravy made me lose my appetite. Like I said, though, I did end up trying the fudge, and I liked it. That’s a keeper for sure.

The food is great and everything tastes fresh. I had the blueberry pancakes and they were delicious. Reasonably priced too.

Went to Baugher’s for slate dinner minutes before listed closing time of 8 pm. No problem being seated and offered full service. Waiter was honestly friendly, not reciting a script about his name. Meals were good diner food/comfort food. Not pretentious. Heavy on frying. Didn’t have room for the deserts — maybe worth a stop just for those. Overall, I’d gladly return.

Google
We got the boneless fried chicken breast because frying chicken at home is messy. It was wonderfully crispy, yet moist inside. The rolls were served with soft butter and were soft with a touch of sweetness. Potato salad and Cole Slaw were both homemade. The atmosphere is of a home cooking restaurant. It's not the romantic candles and tablecloth place. We were seated by a window that overlooked their baskets of flowers for sale. Our waitress was outstanding. She even brought us extra napkins without our having to ask. She was available without being intrusive. After dinner, we walked to their shop to buy some pies and apple cider donuts to take home with us. We shopped their day-old shelf. The Peach pie is fantastic. Day old is not a problem. Their apple pie is just as good. You can tell they're made from fresh fruit. It was well worth the 1+ hour drive

Yelp
Went with my boyfriend, my mom her boyfriend, my older sister and her boyfriend back in fall had a great time great food. Great eggs ,My family loved their food too great prices different menus for different hours had breakfast was wonderful 10/10. Kinda loud inside crazy parking getting in and out was full had to wait 20 mins a table but over all good

JD G.

Yelp
We grew up with Baugher's and recently returned during a vacation. It's as good as ever. The cheeseburger sub has been modernized with a zippy sauce. It's still a go to if you are famished. Wait staff are professional and treat each diner well. The pie is a must. All are freshly baked and absolutely delicious.

Yelp
Came here for lunch for the first time with my husband and some friends. Hubby and I ordered their snack attack appetizer, their chili cheese fries appetizer, chef salad, and their beef bbq sandwich. What's hot - Service. We came here on a long weekend, when the wineries were full, so it was difficult finding somewhere we could actually get food and service. We totally appreciate they were able to seat us right away, as well. Service was good and prompt and we didn't have any issues. - Menu. Pretty decent variety- meats and veggies. One of our friends is vegan and she had options, which was helpful. Their breakfast is generally served all day, with the exception of specific items, like hotcakes and specific omelettes, so be prepared on the time of day you come. Their dessert menu looks great. - Portions and price. Good value for money. - Quality. Not bad, but not great. It appears the cheese on my chili cheese fries appetizer was velveeta cheese, but oh well. Tasted decent. They put a good amount of ground beef and bacon on my fries, as well. One of our friends ordered their fried chicken, which came our tender and not overly battered. - Parking. There's a decent size parking lot, which is helpful, because this spot appears popular with the locals. - Shop. The restaurant is right next door to the market, which is extremely helpful in that you can get some food shopping done while you're there. What's not - Quality. As previously mentioned, not bad, but not great. This place appears to cater towards the locals and random tourists/passersby. It's nothing to write home about, but it's dependable. Final answer Not bad. Probably wouldn't be on my list of top places to return to, but it's good and dependable.

Yelp
I haven't been here for a couple of years but used to come here a least once a week. Man, has this place gone downhill. Maybe someone else owns or manages it now. Low quality lukewarm food. Okay prices although not cheap. The meatloaf looked old, as it it had been sitting all day. The dinner rolls were inedible and doughy. The iced tea was nasty. I would avoid this place as many people must do because only 4 tables were seated at dinner time.

S. K.

Yelp
Been a county resident for 30 years and really ashame how the food has taken such a turn for the worse, especially breakfast. Today my pancakes were gummy, the crispy bacon black and salty and the home fries tasted of old fryer oil and anything but crisp. The sausage is a bland stick of meat, maybe. no flavor at all, so, pass on that. One step up from plum crazy which is plum awful. Bland from a can and frozen from a bag. Save your money and eat breakfast at home. Deserts, pies some lunch and dinner items still pretty good but not a breakfast place.

Justin T.

Yelp
Quaint Westminster charm and good food. It's good lunch with good burgers and fries. Fun decorations surround, and overall makes you feel welcome. Clean bathrooms for us. It's worth a stop for a day trip of strawberry picking, etc. Very friendly staff. I would recommend. Kid friendly too!
google avatar

Theron M.

Yelp
It's always a hit. This time, we had the steak and eggs. The steak was nice and juicy. The scrambled eggs we delicious and fluffy. The kid had the pancakes with Scrapple. Both were delectable. Even the toasted English muffin was better than most. Nice and crispy without being burnt. My coffee was good. The service was great and very attentive. The only drawback was the coconut cake was slightly dry. It was a good cake just a bit dry. But I would highly recommend this as a good place for well cooked food. The produce market was also a hit. Picked up cabbage, a sweet watermelon, great cherries, honey, and bananas. All were top quality.

Samantha M.

Yelp
Produce was all moldy, vegetable left outside were all covered in mold and brown and disgusting. Do not recommend. Get it together

Kathleen W.

Yelp
This is the second time I have been disappointed with my lunch . The French fries were not cooked properly the waitress was so busy she forgot something and by the time I saw her again it was too late. The food use to be good, but lately when you order salad the lettuce is brown and sometimes frozen!

Traci S.

Yelp
First off, the food was amazing and cooked to perfection. Not everyone's favorite although I did have liver and onions there was so much that I had plenty for lunch the next day. Then after all the reviews on making sure to get pie, I ordered the coconut cream and it was the best I've ever had. I can't remember our waitresses name although I believe it was Jenna. She was fantastic. Never was there an empty glass on the table and all our food came out at the same time. Outstanding service! Cute BIG farmer's market for an after lunch treat. I ended up getting the sugarless cherry pie to bring home to my husband, along with apples, pears, squash and tomatoes! Wonderful experience!!
google avatar

Heather A.

Yelp
This place was dirty (flies and sticky table). The food was just awful--bland and overcooked. They couldn't even get a burger right. Very disappointing.
google avatar

Chelsea M.

Yelp
We ordered take out from this establishment tonight. We had the Rip burger, the retro burger, and a sliced turkey dinner with green beans, and banana salad. The rip burger was very good but wasn't served with fries. The retro burger was good but the vanilla milkshake was kind of bland. The turkey sliced dinner was decent, the green beans and ham were good and the banana salad was a cut up banana with peanuts and chopped maraschino cherries. Overall the food was decent but not outstanding.

Maria C.

Yelp
It's really good food for the price. Recommend for people driving by West Minster. It's a good place if you want a quick bite and to not spend a lot of money. The prices here are amazing for what you get (especially breakfast.) This place caters to more of an older crowd but there are good deals here. It's not a fine dining type of place but I'm giving five stars for pricing and a lot of homemade items. Pies are homemade along with a lot of other things. You can also stop by the farmers market they own next door for fresh produce!
google avatar

Tim P.

Yelp
Nestled outside Westminster is this little jewel of a restaurant and farmer's market. Nothing fancy inside which is fine with me. Great service and food was great as well. My wife had a BLT and I had a Philly Cheesesteak. A little messy but delicious. Afterward we visited the shop next door and picked up some nice fresh vegetables. Restrooms were nice and clean. Plenty of parking available.
google avatar

Tina S.

Yelp
This place gets packed on the weekends and I can see why. Reasonably priced, fresh food. Nothing fancy, just a local diner with a produce market. Service and food are always good. Service is slower on weekends when they are busy, but that's expected. Today I had the special, pumpkin bread French toast. It was awesome, and portions are big. Family friendly!
google avatar

Russell J.

Yelp
Good local food in Westminster. We stopped in on our way back from a camping trip on a Sunday afternoon. They were a little busy when we arrived, so we were told that it would be ~30 mins wait. No big deal, only when 30 mins passed, we followed back up and were told it would be another 10-15 mins. We were finally seated after 45 minutes total. I understand there is a lot of nostalgia for this place, but I think the interior could use some updating, gave off a very "Nursing Home" vibe. Food was good, blue-chip to be sure. Good basic country cooking, but nothing to go out of your way for IMHO. They made up for this with dessert though, egg custard pie and coconut cake were on point. In conclusion, good if you're in the area, but prolly not worth a special trip.
google avatar

Aj L.

Yelp
Excellent customer service. Food is what you expect from an old fashioned diner. The apple cider is as fresh as you can get it.
google avatar

Lashanda L.

Yelp
Home cooked food awaits! There's nothing here too fancy. Just food your mama or granny makes to make you feel better about living in the pandemic world. Order a slice of pie or two to top off your meal and then stroll over to the garden shop and bring a pot of flowers home.

Yelp
****MISTREATMENT OF YOUNG PEOPLE AND WOMEN**** I skimmed through the reviews, this is not the first review of this kind. The way that I witnessed the owner/manager speaking to and treating the young ladies of his staff, has made me reconsider ever going back to the restaurant. This man's behavior was absolutely appalling, unacceptable d misogynistic. You sir are a bully to young ladies. Does that make you feel good about yourself sir?? He was frustrated, angry, very overboard, You could see this man's repressed anger in his eyes. A dangerous man. This is His body language was horrible. This is the kind of man that you know treats people way worse when in private. He was not quiet about it, he thought he was sneaky about it, his body language and his angry face and his tone, I'll never forget it. And I watched these girls just take it and go back to work. I watched smiles fade off of their faces one by one. I watched a gloom come over their eyes and their face. I felt horrible for them. I felt like they were trapped because they needed to make money and cannot quit. This is some of their first jobs. This is sad... You know who I am Sir, I was the one wearing the Cookie monster blue sweatshirt. I was with my ancient grandmother :)) (Hi ladies on the staff!! You all were wonderful, you are very sweet all of you! I'm sorry you have to endure working for such a pig) Sir, you were so rude to your staff, especially the young people, Probably cuz you know the older people aren't going to take your BS. And then at the end, you got frustrated with my grandmother because she is 93 years old and was having a hard time with her credit card. I came in tonight with my grandmother who's turning 93 next week. We've been coming here most of our life.... I've never seen or met the owner or manager before. I did tonight, he was in the restaurant and I wish I never would have, and I hope I never see him again. The young ladies that were seating people and serving us were absolutely wonderful. They seem like some of the best staff! They were helpful, descriptive, on point, smiling, and kind. The way that he was speaking to these young ladies, NOBODY should ever be treated that way. NOTHING IS IMPORTANT ENOUGH TO TREAT PEOPLE THAT WAY! I can't believe this man's comfortable to do it in public. What a scary, unpredictable man. I hate to think of how he acts when people aren't watching. If I find out that he was the owner, I will never go back. I'll be calling tomorrow to figure out who the man was. If I want country homemade food, I'll drive out to Bullocks Family Restaurant, off of rt.32 next time. Please treat young people, women, and human beings with dignity, you, Mean Man. You were horrible to these young ladies tonight.

Ken K.

Yelp
They served one tiny piece of tilapia with the worst inhouse made potato salaed one could imagine. On the plus side, the inhouse made apple sauce was good.

Yelp
I went to Baugher's for breakfast and I have to say it was not bad at all. The menu is simple when it comes to breakfast, nothing crazy or fancy. Just the basics when it comes to the first meal of the day. My only complaint would be the coffee, it could be a little stronger. Other than that, the food is good and the price is fair.

maryam j.

Yelp
They are awesome. Nice staff. Good quality food cooked with fresh materials. I definitely recommend them.
google avatar

Stephen J.

Yelp
The buckwheat blueberry pancakes are a pleasant way to start the morning. A fork and a knife is all you need to have a handful of fresh from the farm, plump, juicy, naturally sweet blueberries excite your taste buds. The pancakes are huge and if you get 3, you may have to skip a meal later on like I did. The pancakes are hot for about 12 mins after they are brought out to the table and the syrup soaks right in to the pancake, only adding to the fork tender moistness. The breakfast sausage tasted great and was cooked just right. This is down home cooking at its finest in a northern part of Maryland near the Pennsylvania border. Treat yourself to this establishment and the convenient produce market next door!
google avatar

Kayla L.

Yelp
I've always loved Baugher's Restaurant! Definitely a go too place to eat for the family, they do get really busy but the food and service makes it worth the wait! Plus while your waiting they have the produce part connected to the restaurant so you can walk through there and grab your favorite produce! 10/10 recommend

Eva M.

Yelp
As a person that has worked in the industry for 16 years, never in my life have I had such a terrible experience. The way a staff member (I'm guessing he was the manager, an old white man) yelled at a group of us was out of pocket, totally disgusting and uncalled for. I could go on and on but I'll leave it at that. Please do not support this place if you are a decent human being, unlike the heathen we experienced today.
google avatar

Lea H.

Yelp
This is a great place to buy fruit, jellies, and baked goods. It is however not a place to eat. I had a poorly cooked frozen square of fish not even McDonald's quality. Everything we got was barely ok. Three of us got diarrhea soon after leaving the restaurant. Buy fruit and don't eat in the restaurant!
google avatar

Joe R.

Yelp
Legit country food Everything comes with gravy on it!! It's delicious I think I got gravy to drink with my entree of biscuits and gravy!!! Food was amazing chicken was ofd the chain

Michael A.

Yelp
The food is the usual American fare but good tasting, good prices and service is friendly. It's also got a nice market attached with fruit and veggies from their farm up the road along with pies and other treats. Plenty of parking too.
google avatar

Melinda S.

Yelp
I used to come here as a kid with my family. Nostalgia ! I see they haven't made any updates since I was a kid over twenty years ago. Definitely not a place to take a date. No ambiance and you have to take your bill to the front to pay. That is an ordeal because there's no one there usually and 15 other customers are all crowded around with you waiting to pay. Not good for covid! Food is average. I got the fried chicken which was juicy and hot but the skin was too heavy and tastes like air lol no flavor. I asked for hot sauce and they gave me some weird thing that wasn't actually hot sauce. Sting beans taste canned. They nuke their store bought bread in the microwave and it's chewy. They don't have hot cider in the summer so don't try and order that nor the oysters! But I remember this place fondly as well as picking apples at their orchard as a kid!!!!
google avatar

Peg E.

Yelp
Agree with many of the comments. Basic food at a reasonable price. Fries were limp and cold. The burger was served with mayo and pickle relish on the burger. (Tarter sauce taste). Milk shake was very good. Reuben very good. Came with pickle slice. They are short staffed and those that do work seem tired.

Cj B.

Yelp
Eating here is the equivalent to eating a pile of dirt. The floors are always sticky, not only that I have had bugs in my food multiple times. They're "homemade" ice cream is really Turkey Hill. Every inch of this establishment is dirty, covered in bugs, and i wouldn't be surprised if their apple juice was pee. Eating here is a crime to one's healt.
google avatar

Nathan F.

Yelp
What a great little old dinner. When it's cold outside and your in the neighborhood, this is a nice little place to grab a cheap and quick breakfast. The market is right next door that sells great fruit and goods. Highly recommend the pie, donuts, and apple cider.
google avatar

Abigail M.

Yelp
Whenever I come into town, I always stop for I've cream at Baughers. Their food is amazing too. I had the Peanut Butter Fluff sundae. It was to die for. It's a good thing I am only in town once a year.
google avatar

Yelp
I had high hopes for this restaurant, I thought the food would be like a country home cooked meal. I was so disappointed. The fried chicken was dry, greasy and tasted of flour. There were no seasonings that I could taste. My sides were onion rings, which I literally received three, small in size and Mac n' cheese. As soon as I tasted the meal, I regretted my decision. My nephew ordered the Retro Burger, it came with all the toppings, but all it had was LTO, it was supposed to have more toppings. It also came with fries, which admittedly were plentiful and a milkshake which basically a blob of ice cream and what appeared to be milk poured over it. It was watery, not thick like milkshakes would be. My niece ordered a chickensteak sub, the sandwich was dry, bread looked old. She took a few bites and stopped. Overall, the service lacked (the waiter kept walking by telling us he'd be right with us meanwhile he ignored us and started cleaning a table and hung out by the server station. I would never recommend this place and wasted money on subpar food. I'm grossed out just thinking about the food. Sorry not sorry. Save your money, not worth it. Oh and if you try to go to their pumpkin patch you have to wait in a long line just to get to the patch, can't go in for free. Waste of time.
google avatar

David C.

Yelp
You will find really good, cheap road food at this farmers market/ pick-your-own orchard/ diner/ tourist trap. When business takes me to Westminster, this is where I like to go for lunch. I recommend the hot turkey sandwich; the turkey is homemade, and moist and tender. The fries are cut fresh, and served with gravy if you want. On a previous visit, I had a hot hamburger sandwich, which was aesthetically a hot mess. It tasted a whole lot better than it looked, The pies and the ice cream are made on premises, although I have not yet given them a try.

Yelp
We went on Saturday for brunch, and at 10:30 there was a half hour wait time. That being said, there was an adjoined market for local vegetables, bakery dessert goods, and little odds and ends meant to give rustic decorations. When we were serviced in for our table, the waiter remembered my friends who came about a week ago. Service was friendly, the waitress who served us made sure our apple ciders were topped off. Hot apple cider on a cold morning is delightful. The ambience was more towards a local friendly diner. Now for the food. We ordered the Cream Chipped Beef with biscuit, hungry man platter, four layer omelette, and the French toast. Portions were great, prices affordable, and food quality good. Just a simple delightful breakfast to have after a trip to the farmers market. The desserts looked great, but we were too full to try some.
google avatar

Jack M.

Yelp
Mediocre cafeteria food. We got the turkey and dressing special. The turkey was overcooked. Gravy tasted canned. The fries weren't crisp and had no seasoning. The pie a la mode came cold. ?? The ice cream was very smooth and creamy and pie had a deeply sweet fresh apple taste with adequately executed crust.
google avatar

Earl B.

Yelp
Food is cheap and what you'd expect from a country diner. It's not bad and it's not good either. I wouldn't call the food high quality however it is consistent. The staff is often overwhelmed and at times neglectful. Sometimes just rude. The clientele is what you'd expect from a deeply conservative rural area and often the conversations you overhear are flat out offense if not alarming. It's a staple in this community which is changing rapidly and Baugher's, it's staff, and the clientele are often out of step with those changes. If you want to see old school 'Merica then Baughers is your place. It certainly meets the needs of a certain democratic but I prefer to spend my money and time elsewhere.

Yelp

Yelp
1st glance at this place is like u are back in 1951 When u walk in it's gotten gross wrapped all up in 1 Food is extremely close to dog food grade and the staff has the same attitude the seating is gross and extremely dirty ... and don't even get me started on the bathrooms GROSSSSSSSSSSS!!! If your looking for a kitten nightmares and get sick please go here it's all wrapped up in one Will I return????.... NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yelp
Absolutely disgusting experience. Our waitress had zero training and I claim management, not her. No wait staff member should ever be allowed to wreck customer experiences due to inept management. Shame on them. I ordered unsweet iced tea with lemon. I received unsweet tea with no ice. The stingy slice of lemon was cut so thin it snapped in half and fell on the table. I ordered the Baugher Burger. I received a burger with a frozen, over processed patty not even as good as the scrap we had to eat when I was poor. I had to fight to get the gristle out of my teeth. I asked for mustard. I had to wait so long my gristle burger was cold. Three bites later I set it aside. I asked for crispy fries. I was served cold fries that obviously had sat under a heat lamp where they turned limp. I asked the waitress why they hadn't been cooked longer until crispy. She said, "I told the cooks. I don't know what happened." A big part of being a server is CHECKING ORDERS BEFORE BRINGING SLOP TO A CUSTOMER!!!!! THAT IS YOUR JOB!!!! Never again. Two bad experiences in a row. If rather eat at McDonald's for half the cost of feeling insulted and sick. Bauhger' s may have been great in it's day, but it's obviously time to hang it up.
google avatar

Dan E.

Yelp
Prices are reasonable and the food ranges from great to mediocre. Our most recent visit service was unfriendly and inattentive. Frankly, I was disappointed, but the charm of this place, its family atmosphere, and ice cream make it hard for me to give it less than 3 stars.
google avatar

David P.

Yelp
Good no fuss home cooked country meals. Like eating at grandma's. Plus pies To Die for. Produce market next door selling produce and other items from their farm up the road, including cold apple cider. Also make some great ice cream.

Yelp
Delicious family style dinner! I was out for the day to get some fruit at the orchard and stopped in to eat before heading to the farm. Worth the stop! Seating was fairly quick despite the line, about 15 minutes on a busy weekend lunchtime. Looks like they had a menu for specials for each day of the month and fairly large regular menu for breakfast and other meals. I got there about 2pm, decided to try the liver and onions, mashed potato, and salad. Came with two fresh warm rolls. The salad was a good sized garden salad, with fresh sliced very red ripe tomatoes. The liver and onions and mashed potatoes were all good sized portions and delicious. I had no room for desert, although if I had any room this would have been a good place to try it, looked like many got pie or ice cream while there. The staff was friendly and refilled my water and checked up to see all okay etc and no pressure to hurry etc despite busy. Once you get your check, you take it up to the cashier to pay. Recommended, delicious and very good value for the prices!

Yelp
This is one of those places that has been around forever and the locals just rave about. My wife grew up in this area and used to eat here as a child all the time. Walking in, you can tell that very little has changed. Honestly, this isn't my kind of food because well honestly this kind of home-cooking will kill you after a while. It's worth a visit. The food is cheap. There's no alcohol. They have a market outside where you can get fresh produce.

Yelp
Stopped in for dinner after visiting the farm. The food was meh but the waitress was very nice and the price was right. My husband and I split the two Saturday specials, BBQ brisket and chicken parm. The brisket was rubbery and over done, the chicken part of the chicken parm was great but the spaghetti was whatever. The mac n cheese side was a weaker version of what Stouffer's does and not the grandma's home cooking style I was hoping for. The French fries and milkshake were good and the fried chicken looked good and is made to order so it takes a while. Shoulda stuck with my original plan of the chicken steak sandwich and fries. Oh well. I'd probably still go back but would just order something different.

Yelp
Staff was great!!!!! It's a 'seat yourself' kinda place.....large portions.....good prices.....just good ol' diner food! Blueberry pancakes were HUGE......tasty and way too much to eat at one sitting. Hubby loved the corn beef hash and his sausage omelette. I really loved the coffee......all in all, I would return without a doubt.

Yelp
My rating is really about 3 1/2 stars. The restaurant was super clean, the staff was very nice but I had better hopes for the food. It was the first cold day of the fall so I ordered a cup of chili, bland at best. I also got the bacon grilled cheese, is wass cooked on the grill with probably vegetable oil and had a nasty after taste. The locals love it so maybe I picked the wrong things on the menu.

Yelp
My family and I have been coming to Baugher's for years......the food is always good, not fancy, just plain tasty food, no frills. But last week I was disappointed because no one who worked at the restaurant, or in the attached produce stand, was wearing a mask, and very few customers were masked, as well. The waitresses, who carry the food plates out by hand, and, therefore, their faces are about 10 inches from the meals, are unmasked, as well as the hostess, the cashier and the employees serving ice cream at the counter. To make this even more unpleasant, the cashier, who was helping set up tables, was coughing and never once covered her mouth. Come on, guys, you can do better!! Have your employees wear masks!! ...for your customers' protection, as well as their own, and it's simply the RIGHT and the SMART thing to do. My family cannot return until this is remedied. Despite the news and many people being vaccinated, COVID is still a danger to our health, especially the elderly. Thank you.

Yelp
Very good home cooked meals, but the best part of every visit is their outstanding pies. Have never had a meal that I didn't like
