Baum und Pferdgarten

I visited the Baum und Pferdgarten flagship store in Copenhagen in mid September during a planned day of shopping. The store is located in the city centre near The King’s Garden, and directly across the road from an amazing little bar called Bar Vitrine, which is honestly the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine and some bites after shopping! The staff made both me and my husband feel so welcome. I never felt rushed or pressured while browsing which I really appreciated; when I decided to try on a few pieces they were so helpful in assisting me with sizes and showing me different options. I found the most comfortable jeans and a couple of tops that I absolutely adore and have worn many times since. Baum und Pferdgarten was founded in 1999 by designers Rikke Baumgarten and Helle Hestehave; their collections are known for their playful yet refined style, a mix of prints, textures and bold colours with modern silhouettes. It’s fashion that feels unique and expressive but still very wearable. I also noticed they stock a really cool range of sneakers; and honestly, I kind of wish I bought a pair because they were so good. The flagship store is stunning; beautifully styled and curated in a way that feels high-end but still approachable. Their opening hours are: Monday to Friday 10 am–6 pm, Saturday 11 am–5 pm and Sunday 12 pm–4 pm. If you’re visiting Copenhagen and love fashion that feels fresh, fun and a little different, I highly recommend stopping by here. The staff are lovely, the space is gorgeous and it’s such a nice place to find something special. I’ll absolutely return one day when I’m back in Copenhagen :)

A stylish and beautiful space that perfectly reflects the brand’s unique aesthetic. We were pleasantly surprised to learn from our CA Serena that this is the only Baum und Pferdgarten store in the world, making our visit feel even more special. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warm smiles and even offered a drink—such a thoughtful and welcoming touch. Both sales assistants were incredibly helpful, hospitable, and knowledgeable, creating a relaxed yet elevated shopping experience. The denim pieces especially stood out—well-constructed, flattering, and effortlessly cool. Serena styled them with confidence and creativity (like pairing a dress with flared jeans), which made the pieces come to life in a fresh and wearable way. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in Copenhagen—it’s a one-of-a-kind retail experience that truly embodies Danish fashion and charm.

While the prices are definitely on the higher end, I will say that my shopping experience here was excellent! The sales associates were so kind and helpful while I was browsing. They even offered me a drink! If they don’t have an item in your size, they can also order it to the store for you. The layout of the store makes for an immersive shopping experience, and the pieces were so funky and unique. Would definitely come here to shop again! 🙌

I loved this store! One of my favorite Danish brands but first time visited physical store and left impressed by interior, choice of garments and good service.

Employee said told me she "wanted to go home" when I was trying one expensive item on slightly before 6 PM, closing time. I purchased the item and was out the door at 6:03 PM. Manager should advise against treating customers this way!
